Don't expect miracles, those are slow, short, and removed early in the progression. But historically she had them.

If the firing detection penalty was slaved to the gun instead of the hull, the 155 would be a viable option, alas, as it is now, the 203's are probably better (that said, I haven't played the ship at all since the adjusted the rotation mod)

What's the range? The trajectory looks pretty flat, which is pretty close to real life (flat arcs, very fast shells that punch like 16" shells).

That loks awesome. Two banks of four shells. God yes. These are the reasons why I'm more or less trusting the penetration tables that came about from Nathan Okun's programs. It's not ideal, far from it, but I consider that to be the "grinder" part of French BB's before one gets to the good stuff and gets to run around laughing maniacally, killing people.

I might, but all the ships I would buy a prem camo for don't have them, and I don't like the ships that have them so far. -
Correction: They were designed to engage the Deutchland class and below, Then when Scharnhorst rolled out, Strasbourg was adjusted to engage Scharnhorst and below. But yeah, you're right, the Dunkerque and Richelieu classes were geared towards offensive fast action, with little to no emphasis on a fighting retreat. The ships were also built to be fast, so they could avoid fights that were disadvantagous for them, which kind of negated the requirement for the capacity of a fighting retreat.

Yeah, but problem seems to be that you either buff your RoF for the cost of traverse AND range, or you buff your range for the cost of RoF only. I for one will be taking the rangeboost despite the bad ballistics on the shells, as stealthfiring will probably allow me to land hits on enemy BB's even so, and IMO 13s rld is nothing to frown at (sure it's not Roon levels of continous fire, but still not bad).

I think 5 RPM would be the very least she should get, after all, she's the CA with the least guns now (tie with Roon, but that one gets better DPM - pöwercreep much?), although 5.5-6 would be better. EDIT: saying that having not played her yet.

I couldn'T really justify it any other way than... 46k avg dmg in 135 games She's quick, nimble, has good range, you can pretty much pick your fights and put peole down at your leasure. It may have to do with the fact that she has a 13% firechance with 2400HE damage at 10RPM at 6 guns/broadside and she has 4x 7km torps per side that reload before they run out and she can play like an oversized DD so you can hunt DD's and burn BB's and citpen CL's... She's just... The ultimate T4 CL. (Also the only ship I'm on the warships.today top tracker. Yet. In two categories.)
