Can someone add a curse to this ship that every time this ship is sank, Baltimore players get a ray of sunshine so that they aren't completely depressed?

Herpaderpaderpaderp. Thanks!

That still doesn't answer the question whether the purchasability is limited or not.

IDEAL recruitment topic

The SCRUBs salute you! -
I might be retarded, but I can't see an ending date there, is there one at all, or can one complete the thing whenever one gets to it?

But Flamu made a video where he sails a Yammy in a T3 battle vs St Louis' and fire secondaries only... Oh wait, that wasn't a battle

I can't (well, I never tried, so I don't actually know), but I know that Shards for example, with the two semi-enclosed caps, has to go. I'm not sure mirror maps are "fair". I know games where mirrr maps are actually very very unbalanced, but those are mostly RTS games where the factions are distinct, not mixed like they are here. Strangely enough one of my favourite maps is Solomon, which is a low-tier-only map. North is also a map I like, despite the fact that it's not one that I'm very good on tactically speaking (I usually just sail onto the western side and hope the east doesn't fail). Two brothers is closest to a real mirror map that is to my liking. Others that I really like are Okinawa, Atlantic (despite also being somewhat mirror), Shatter (although this one is sometimes just pure lottery), and Mountain Range. Oh and Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi mucho importante. The real advantage of mirror maps and similar maps is that even morons get a chance to win, as you can aply an "operatinal pattern" onto it, you don't have to improvise. If it comes down to the wire however, even that doesn't save them. Non-mirror maps require better improvisation, communication and the capacity to weigh advantages and disadvantages. Most of the mirror maps in game could be turned on their head completely by relocating the caps and spawns, but that's unlikely to happen.

You assume that the average bob has intelligence greater than or equal to your own. That is a mistake. You are a better than average player, thus you know that if something doesn't work far away you need to close the distance. The amount of people who throw fits because their guns don't hit anything from one end of the map to the other is ridiculous. They are like: "my guns have 21km range, that must mean that's the range I have to use them from."
-
It would lead to even more people complaining that they can't hit jack.

Premade divisions never top tier?
piritskenyer replied to killer999death's topic in General Discussion
>get TX ship >division with friends >still not top tier >put tinfoil hat on >??? >profit or alternatively >play same ship (let's say T7) in division over and over again >play the ship in division some more >be top tier the 3rd of the time on average >??? >burn tinfoil hat. -
USS Alabama tier 8 US premium BB preliminary stats (5.16)

As an Atago player, Russian cruisers are usually more of an annoyance than a real threat. They are annoying in the sense that they constantly rain down 6" showers, and I have to dodge, but I can usually smack them in the face without too much trouble. -

To be honest it really shouldn't be a thing at all anywhere above T3.

Treat the ship like an oversized CA with heal. What that means in practical terms: AP is there to mess up cruisers, as most of them don't have armour to bounce it at the tierspread. 10x 12" AP shells, if well aimed, will delete cruisers HE is there to make other BB's regret their life decisions. 30% firechance and 5400 base damage means that a well aimed salvo will do respectable strike damage and is guaranteed to set on fire at the very least. 25sec reload also means that if the enemy BB puts out the fire, you'll be able to set him on fire again with the next salvo. As with every IJN cruiser, you can just get away with firing HE all the time like a scrub, as HE has high enough calibre to citadel cruisers (305/6 = 50,8 mm HE pen) I for one use my DE trained high-tier CA cpt in Ishi whenever I sail her, so I actually drop ten 33% bombs on enemies every 25 seconds. I'm not even sorry

Oh look, he can actually make sense!

T6 French Premium: Battleship Dunkerque Disappoints

The main acc module is basically a jack of all trades mod. It adds to main acc, sec acc, sec Rof, the only thing it doesn't add to is AA.- 241 replies

HE pens don't depend on angle, I hope you know that.

Swordfish wouldn't work here very well, as DPS is an aura rather than actually tracking weponry. Swordfishes were effective against very advanced AA systems (ex Bismarck) because their cruise speed was below the minimum speed of modern AA FCS, which basically meant that only manually trained weapons could be pointed and the light construction of the aircraft resulted in the 20 and 37mm impact fuzes not working and the rounds tearing through. In case of the Italians at Taranto I understand a similar situation which was only worsened by the fact that it was a night action and a lack of radar-assisted AA direction. Swordfish aircraft later proved hopelessly out-of-date during the Channel Dash where all six sortied Swordfish were lost with all hands for no damage inflicted. After that the aircraft was used to attack enemy merchant shipping and submarines, but was withdrawn from frontline use against surface combattants.

Rest in peace Cruisers, may you be remembered.
piritskenyer replied to BloodRose13's topic in Cruisers
Don'T check my stats then. You'll see it all over the place. I don't play every day, but I play a few matches every 2-5 days and I too don't see a fundamental problem with cruisers. -

Yeah, well, even I, a non-user upvoted it, so I guess it should win. The real question is the second place then isn't it? -
