Flaps down in landing position, hook down, well, he could be in the process of being waved off, but it looks more like he got caught by some crosswind, which shouldn't be the case as CV's are supposed to turn into the wind when conducting flight operations.

Met Sharpie65 in his Ognevoi (I think) on Shards yesterday while divisioned with Phlogistoned (NoCal). It was a close run match, as I was potatoing as hard as I could in my Atago. We ended up pulling the game back, but just about. -

No, the second US anything line is some ways away yet because they are mostly conceptual and/or hard to balance. -
Strasbourg herself could serve IMO as an acceptable-to-good T7.

Dunkerque's guns seem to have two optimum ranges at around 7-8 km and 12-14 km where they are really accurate. Under or over they seem to spread out a lot more, even though my best ever shot was the tight double bank of 4 shells that deleted a Myoko at 17.5 km. Oh and before anyone slams me with stats and whatnot, what I wrote there is based on feeling rather than statistics.

Not to sound like an A-hole, and with all due respect, but you seem to use and dismiss stats when and how it fits your argument... There was a thread in the cruiser section a few months ago where you were screaming that the stats prove this-and-that (can't actually remember off the top of my head), yet here you dismiss them.

They carried boats, collapsible boats, inflatable rafts (towards the end of the war), and what you most often see on the ships (oval on the allied and IJN ships, rectangular on the KM vessels) are Carley Floats. MN will probably have good mobility, okay-to-good AA, okay-to-good armour and from T6 onwards up until T9 (Alsace) and TX, forward-facing main armament in quad turrets.
