Jesus [edited]. First it's an argument about wether Bismarck is a he or a she, and now it's turned into a whinefest about people whining about the brits not being in the game. Get off the glue guys.

Also because Arizona was sunk at her moorings, not in "actual" combat. Hood is more famous for having the legend shattered.

Can you guys stop talking about language now? I mean it was fun and all, but... call the ship it and be done with it.

Looking at the stats, he seems to be rather competent... in coop.

HMS Hood (1940 version) inbound as T7 Premium BB
piritskenyer replied to ShortySunderland's topic in Battleships
T7 BB that is. That would mean that Admiral class can still be the T7 BC -
lol. worthless. like your comment.

Logically they gave up on the faster training gear because of the logic that on high engagement ranges you don't need snappy turret traverse to track targets. Now the downside to that is that even with a rather low list the training gear can't turn or even hold the turrets. (I recall having read that somewhere)

Yes, you are correct there. I would also like to have Vanguard fire supercharges, as that would put her guns on par with the other 15" class guns around right now at that tier. And I too, am looking forward much more to Vanguard than to Hood, although if the price is right, who knows.

I went for stealth, because stealth and then rate of fire, because the range module is nice, but your shell flight time is a bit too high for effective long range firing. At 16.5km you can just pile on the damage nicely.

Somehow the device (Bomb, medium capacity, 12'000lb) that sank the Tirpitz hasn't achieved widespread fame. I'm sad now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tallboy_(bomb)

It is purely speculated [more like wishful thinking, mind] that the techtree version will be the Admiral-class with Hood's planned 1942/44 refit for a top hull, and a '30 fit for base hull. Edited because I suck at typing

Met Cpt_Cowper_Coles in my last match today, while testing the Alabama with Admiral_Noodle. I was a potato and he finished me off with his Yammy. Our team was a total bunch of uselessness so they won quite easily. -
Yeah, but wasn't Emile Bertin rather quick even without the engines being redlined? Also, that f*king quad (or twin, can'T rmbr) Bofors on B turret... /Unrelated: They really should add Pensacola's late war refit, she'd look so much better. Also, if you look at pictures from CBT or even alpha, you'll see that Pepsi has the pennant number 25 on the bow, which means that what we have ingame is actually SLC... *cries in Pepsi*

Actually, if we're being technical, they are located around the barbettes, because if they only used that space for shell storage they'd be rather limited... -

Yeah, I remember, I almost snapped there... Though my push was indeed a bit overzealous, but when I started it wasn't just the two of us there, I'm sure of that much. Met Negativvv during the weekend while I was doing Alabama testruns, and since he was on the enemy team in his Missouri, he ran his own tests on the ship... With superheavy AP. Nice meeting you though! -

A Detailed look at Project 1047 Battlecruiser (Lert)
piritskenyer replied to Trainspite's topic in Battleships
The loss of three BC's at Jutland wasn't down to the designs proper but rather to the order from Beatty to bypass some of the safety precautions and flash tightness measures to speed up the reload of the main battery. That seemed to work well in practice shoots, but then, when there was an actual enemy shooting back, it came to bite the British in the rear. And that, kids, is why a fair few people consider Beatty to be an outright criminal.- 67 replies

While I can't disclose exact details, I'm sad to say that she's lacking a horse or bull emblem needed for the traditional Italian speed. -

That is simlpy not possible mathematically. 870m/s, with no loss of velocity would be 18.3 seconds. No, the 155 mm rifles are on Duguay-Trouin only. http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNFR_Main.php
