    I'm guessing (purely guessing) that since none of the Normandie class ships were ever completed, WG has implemented a "fantasy" refit to scale the ship up to tier 5.

    Seeing your statistics, here's one thing I would say to you OP: Maybe buying a TX was a bit early. I've got almost twice as many battles as you, and I'm yet to buy a TX (in fact, I recently sold my only T9 because I was unhappy with my performance in it).

    I agree with you on that one. The midships (Q) turret will be able to superfire X turret only beyond a certain range. Also, yeah, the hull is terribad, the guns are weak, the only saving grace of the ship would be weight of fire, but would be rubbish at T6. Even Lyon would fall short of T6 standard.

    Again, take into consideration, that while Dunkerque has half the guns, she can citadel a New Mexico at 18 km range (been there, done that), while a Lyon would have a hard time citadeling a New Mexico (or any BB of the tier) at any range. Also take into consideration that Dunkerque is ~7-10 kts faster. IMO Strasbourg would be too powerful for T6, as she has better armour than Dunkerque, the same guns, same speed (actually, slightly better speed), and based on plans from 1940, potentially better AA. She could/would cut it in T7, as she could much more safely pull off the angling than Dunkerque that has a very thin margin for error.

    Yeah, but those guns have abysmal penetration values (13.7" at point-blank range) and rather poor range in their mountings. So it could/would only hurt cruisers.

    Serious question, Normandie. I for one see no reason for the midships turret to be nonfuctional. I have zero info on the line, mind, I'm just glad to see that at least the models are there.
