For me that refit looks brutish, but charming in its own way. I never really got on board qith the as-tall-as-BB's main mast. My reasons for having a T7 prem Pepsi are absolutely selfish, I'll admit to that: I'm used to the ship in her current spot and I don't want to see her go. -
No, I don't. I noticed the weak rudder as well, I simply put the rudder hp mod on, that brings the the incapacitations down to acceptable levels. If I come under heavy fire I just stop shooting and turn away, that seems to extend my usual lifespan quite a bit :D When I go on the offensive in my Algérie, I don't usually get my rudder knocked, but even if I do, unless it's in the forward position, I let it come back and play with my speed to dodge incoming fire. The improved Expert Marksman and Adrenaline Rush skills would prove particularly useful in the HIV, as you could dramatically uncrease your damage output as you take damage, and you could improve the otherwise slow turrets.

Yes. The ingame Pensacola indeed sports CA-25 USS Salt Lake City's final fit, which really shouldn't be the case. Fingers crossed for T6 SLC and T7 prem Pepsi! @USSARIZONA_2015 When ships are being rebalanced within the techtree, they are being duplicated and are given a sister's name for the duration of the testing phase. Once the testing is over and the ships are finalised, the ships recieve their old names back. -
You used a very hostile tone and implied he's too stupid to play anything other than BB's. If that's not a hostile answer, I don't know what is.

The 6"/47 should get flattet arcs on her HE, historically speaking, as the HE had 823m/s MV. That should make it similar to French 6" HE. AP prolly should remain arcing, as those were heavy shells.

The turrets can keep up with a target at that range, even if one is maneuvering sharply. In Myoko one chooses to engage or to dodge, but not both at that distance.

That is why the supertest prpgram exists. Purple people are the ones who are going to have to suffer first, and I'm not even sure if the devs have implemented their adjustments yet, because if you look, based on the stats, at the moment it's the very same ships with NO changes that are being put to their new place. I know the split has been announced in the end of last year, but I can only insist that you guys keep being patient. -

Oh don't get me wrong either, I do acknowledge that Myoko is a good ship, I just don't find her particularly fun to play. The most effective way to play her for me is outright boring, and I just prefer Pepsi, but like said elsewhere, to each their own.

I'm assuming an equal skill player. The torps are not an asset, as anyone with half a brain will know not to stray into your rear quarter. Don't get me wrong, Myoko is an effective ship, only she is not an effective ship for hunting cruisers or destroyers. She excels at burning battleships, but that is nowhere near the game impact you want. I found the Pepsi kuch kore versatile in that you can go and murder cruisers at your leisure if you so choose, or go after DD's. Dealing with BB's is also a non-issue, as at a shallow enough angle you can do 10k normalpen AP salvoes and at acute angles just HE people. The pen's the same.

At any time I tried to get up close and personal, I got severly punished for it. If a Pepsi is coming for you, he is gonna take you unless he's *very* low on HP and you can burn him down. Why? Because a competent Pepsi player ike VC or myself can make a Myoko their female canine forever.

The salt is always going to be there at a calibre break. Kuma-Furutaka, Cleveland-Pensacola... Anyway, morning me didn't express itself clear enough: "That seems to be quite common for people to like Pensacola to have disliked the earlier ships for some reason"

Interesting. That seems to be quite common. I for one loathed Cleveland, and Pepsi afterwards was fitting me just like a glove. New Orleans I didn't get along with, but then B-more was hella fun (despite me not being able to make her win despite the 61k avg dmg), and I kind of dread Des Memes.

That was the only way I could make it work. The slow turret rotation meant that I mostly couldn't close the range and had to work as a mid-long range HE spammer. That yielded okay results, but wasn't fun at all (for me).

That doesn't change that in the general public opinion they are damned whatever they do. That was the point I was getting at.

You can never be right in the face of public pressure imo. "why wasn't this mended, it's important!" vs "why wasn't this mended it's an easy fix" People will always find something to criticise. Ontopic: I hope we get opportunities to expand our patch-cache in the future.
