Met 2 people today from the forums. First off, we met Capra76 in his Mutsuki on the enemy team while divisioning with Ton0kki and Kazomir, then we met JapLance in his Myoko on our team when divisioned with Kazomir. Capra wasn't lucky, he was the only DD on his team against 3 DD's on our team, one of which was Kazomir... I probably gave a very bad impression of myself when in game with JapLance, as I got into an argument with a muppet on our team. Also, I have the strange feeling that I met someone else too, but I just can'T remember who...

Maybe she wasn't *intended* to use the 155, but she still had them. And from what information we have at hand, she had an okay turret turn time (some sources indicate 6°/sec, that's 30 seconds to 180° others can go to as much as 10°/sec, which would be 18 seconds, but that seems to be unrealistic), not some gimpingly slow handcrank.

As long as her 155 turrets don'T get their turret turn time fixed, she's not really going to be about any kind of "choice" (which she should be about with her dual armament setups). Right now the 155's are so nerfed into the ground that the only real choice is the 203 setup. Which is sad. Well, yes, it actually does suck not to be able to do what I bloody well please to. If you're going to provide two different options for a ship it would be nice if you weren't forced to take one option out of two because "you're not supposed to take the first". Most people are still going to be spamming HE from their Myoko's 203's because of the IJN's augmented firechance, and Myoko's augmented base firerate. Why would they do any different from their Mogami? That has higher firechance than the 155, has more guns than the New Orleans, and has high enough turn rate to keep up with targets in a turn. Cruisers are reliant in DoT anyway, so I don't see why in a discussion about cruisers you'd diss someone who is complaining about one of two DoT options.

The general solution would be: IGN flag on all ships up and including Imperial German ships Vanilla 3rd Reich flags (what we have now) DDR and BRD Flags for the correwsponding colodwar ship.

The biggest playerbase is indeed russian (or rather, slotted on the RU servers), but the revenue stream that WG earns comes far and wide from ther EU, NA and SK clusters.

Like I said: impressions. They are not fleshed out opinions, they are impressions. And I haven't seen that before, but that looks like a pre-nerf Cleveland.

So basically, you turned your already hardly serious thread and now turned it into a total joke that noone is going to take seriously ever again. I'm going to reserve judgement on the Moskva (and VMF CA's in general) for now, as I haven't met one in battle, nor have I played one (obviously), but I'm going to share my impressions that I have gethered from reliable people: While armed with rather powerful high-calibre guns, she (they) doesn't fare well in the armour department, which should mean that they are ships that turn out to be less and less forgiving of mistakes as you go up the tiers.

Yesterday 6 games, 1 win. The freaking Mogami just couldn't get a break, and my teams were stacked full of shite over and over and over. If I didn't know better, I'd say the MM was rigging me down... (still managed a fairly high damage output though )

The Red Navy, Soviet Navy and hammer&sickle flags in general are way more likely to upset people than the imperial german battleflag (not to be confused with the 3rd reich flags).

U [edited] WUT M8? I'm pretty sure the Ukraine would have some thoughts to share with you on this matter, especially for a period between, say, 1925 and 1940... The one thing you should know about Soviets that they didn't respect anyone they ruled. That included member states, PoW's, interns, defeated enemies and all that came with that. They only respected those they hadn't beaten or who has ever beaten them.

met lankylad11_lankylad yesterday in his Iowa on the enemy team while I was in my Mogami. Our team got totally locked down by the enemy DD's (we had 3 soviet DD's vs 4 IJN...) and got utterly demolished. Also, I haven't managed a daily bonus in the Mogami :@
