No worries I have you covered there, added +1.

Well apart from being british cruisers they are 'just another load of cruisers' to be honest and I really can't see how that as a tech line can be made different in playstyle or more interesing to play than the other nations light cruisers even with gimmicks such as Smoke, Speed Boost or Repair Party consumables even; in the end it will come down to spamming HE or AP at the targets and the occasional torpedo launch whether invisifiring or in the open while dodging shells like a pro. Cruiserplay will be cruiserplay. The issue of cruiser survivability still boils down to the number of BBs in the battle, more than 3 and cruiser survivability drops like a rock simply because the focus of most BB players will be the squishy cruisers just waiting to be citadeled by a BB's AP shells. Place a cap of max 3 BBs per team and cruisers will instantly become more influential and interesting to play.

X-Files 009, Enemy planes fly into my zone undetected
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to SkybuckFlying's topic in Videos & Streams
The only X-Files material I see here is the use of non premium consumables and that the Defensive Fire consumable is not used... For heaven's sake man use the premium consumables when playing high tier and use the defensive fire when the enemy carrier tries to carrier snipe you... Also damn you because of the X-files theme I wanted to see X-files again and the only way to do that was to order the complete series blu ray box set -
I have another tip for battleship drivers: Don't play them, cruisers are much more fun to play and if you are bad at playing BBs at least in cruisers your failures do not have as large an impact on your team.

Big differents in "skill" between the team's
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to DinkyToy_AW's topic in General Discussion
Because one has a massive losing streak is not a guarantee that there will be a massive winning streak as well and a player would remember if he/she had a18 game winning streak. -
Big differents in "skill" between the team's

Well you are overall on a rise in wins damage and WTR the only thing going down is your XP so you are doing better and better all the time. -
My best personal offer ever:

Great, will remember the name and report it for viloating the rules regarding player names - he might as well have called himself Beria or Heydrich as the difference is the same.

Big differents in "skill" between the team's
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to DinkyToy_AW's topic in General Discussion
During the summer there have been a massive influx of new players, my best guess is ca. a 50% increase in player population based on server peak population which has gone from @20k to @30k players. This of course means an increase in inexperienced and lower skill players than the hitherto playerbase and on average 1/2 of your team will now consist of bad low skill inexperienced players compared to about 1/3 before. This should make an overall decrease in individual solo player winrates as it is increasingly harder to carry a team having 50% bad players compared to having 1/3 of the team being bad. So nothing odd or unexpected in an increase in losses. -
WoWs naval tactics academy

I have 3.8k battles and I have absolutely no recollection of playing, yet alone seeing, those maps before... *Edit nevermind they are just turned around.. -
On the Balance: How do the German BBs compare?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to von_Boeg's topic in Battleships
The crazy thing is that ships like the Iowa, North Carolina and Yamato have armour profiles built for long to very long range engagement where plunging fire is the primary threat while WoWS gameplay meta rewards medium to close range BB action where those ships' armour profiles are less than optimal to say the least which would perfectly explain why german BBs would perform better in the current meta where they can both utilise their armour profiles strengths and their gun performance to the maxium of their capabilities while only the gun strengths of the USN IJN BBs apply at those ranges. The current meta have taken away the german BBs weakness which is armour profiles more vulnerable to plunging fire compared to the american and japanese BBs while removing the latter ones of their strengths. Fair? No but if playing at the ranges where USN and IJN BB deck armour really comes into play the battles would be even more campy than now. -
In the current CA meta concealment equals higher survival chance compared to better ruddershift time for the obvious reason that an enemy that can't see you don't shoot at you while an enemy that sees you shoots at you and will hit and citadel you no matter how much you drift, jitter, zigs and zags simply from RNG alone. Concealment>>low ruddershift time The response from MrConway makes no sense whatsoever with regards to increasing CA survivability - the only thing that can increase CA survivability in the current meta is a hardcap on battleships.

Also the gameplay at tier 7 is much more fun and not to mention that the Shinyhorse will have its Royal Navy match in the Mighty Hood

You have to compare the british BL 16 inch Mk1 gun and its 2048 lbs.16 inch APC projectiles with its contemporaries, that of the IJN and USN's equivalent guns the 41cm /45 3rd year and 16"/45 Mark 5 and 8 respectively, which if we exclude the Mk8 2700 lbs from the latter USN 16inch Mark 6 & 7. APC are all @2200 or so lbs. which are all 10% greater in weight providing the USN's MK 5 AP with better penetration at all ranges due to its higher momentum while the IJN 16inch APC did worse for reasons not known to me. This would place the british 16 inchers between the IJN and USN on tier 7 performance wise but substantially behind those of tier VIII +. This would mean that the performance of the BL 16 inch Mk1 guns would make them the weakest BBs on tier VIII as their guns will be weaker penetration wise than all the other battleship main guns on tier VIII, yes even the german 38cm SK C/34 have far superior penetration untill 30 km range not to mention as being the ships with the lowest displacement the Nelson/Rodneys would be the BBs on tier VIII with lowest hit point pool as well. It would simply not be fun to play ships that not only suffer in the performance of its guns but also having to contend with the fact that all the other battleships have at least 25% greater displacement thus a significant greater hitpoint pool than itself. Therefore the Nelson class battleship belongs on tier 7 and not on tier 8.

That depends how narrow you define 'Subs never fought with fleets' for they were certainly used both by the Royal Navy and the Kaiserlische Marine during world war one during naval battles operating independently placed in ambush positions along routes the enemy fleet had to take either to conduct deliberate attacks or to place naval mines so there are plenty of examples of them being used as offensive weapons during naval battles but if your definition is that they had to sail on the surface together with the surface fleet then no. On the other hand aircraft carriers, quite contrary to the experience of WoWS, only seldomly came in visual range of the enemy, isn't that good enough reason to remove that class from the game?

Sign me up too, the ships from that time is both beautiful and technological marvels build with both function as well as aesthetics in mind much more so than one would think if having no prior knowledge of them.

If he is not TK'ed by angry BBs wanting him to go cap or scout.. BBs: "Go cap you noob" DM: "WTF?" BBs: "We can't see the enemy you have to scout and we need cap points so go cap noob!" DM: "Sigh well I have maxed out camo so OK I'll give it a try - but you follow and support me OK?" BBS: "Sure.." BBs remain at blue line. Enemy Des Moines choses to go to same cap they both spot each other and both gets nuked by the 11 BBs on each side BBs: "Stupid noob now we can't see the enemy and shoot at them" DM: "Grow a pair and go cap yourself" BBs: "We play in BBs we don't scout or cap we shoot stuff" DM: "Just do it this blue line camping is retarded" BBS: "No the repair is too high wont risk our ships for that - we wait for enemy to come to us" DM: "##%%##&/"# BBs: "L2P Des Moines NOOB you ruined game for us!" DM: "This is why I love BB players..." Time runs out and game ends in a draw.

New trend among pinkies, WG needs to take action!
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to SomeoneYouKnow2's topic in General Discussion
The horror it must induce in people when they think you got pink by playing CV -
The effect is the same for the team and I can't tell if someone is botting, going AFK, push 'battle' then Alt+Tab out and closes WOWS while doing something else, loses connection to the server or is a late starter due to inadequate hardware; hence the bot reports because there are no other options and if a player is systematically receiving 'bot reports' for any of the reasons then WG's developers should do something to address the issue - not reporting or redacting one will only allow for the issue to continue.

Real issue of the meta - Carriers got shitty controls.

NIce 'Nessie' confirmed realz in the middle of the upper left quadrant of the picture - good find -
Well I am certain the "chase loss" effect is influencing the playerbase, I myself certainly experience it, however I do not believe that WG deliberately has a company policy of exploiting it by rigging the MM if that makes that clear? But obviously the effect must affect all F2P types of games as well since it is a general behavioural trait in humans.
