Want free premium? I'll hire you to be my RU target.
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to Kameho's topic in Archive
[edited] Now we aren't allowed to discuss moderators, their actions and sanctions imposed on players but suffice to say, I find their actions counterproductive to good customer relations and for WG's business as a whole. -

Having completed all of the ARP missions I can say that the Nachi one was the most retarded and hardest to complete of them all as there are simply so few players using the RU ships that you either have to get lucky or have to grind and grind and grind in the hope of completing the mission - luckily for me i killed the last remaining 5 yesterday... The reward contra the risk of getting sanctioned for rigging is not great enough as the ARP ships are mostly worth having for collection reasons only but in their own right they do not contribute anything new to the game experience, so unless you really really want to own all of the ARP ships the grind is not really worth the time in my opinion. -
No worries, Wargaming doesn't allow topics that highlights persistent problems in their games and this topic will without doubt be closed soon for: [edited]

Wargaming: Is it too much to ask to get rid of the bots and AFK'ers?
G01ngToxicCommand0 posted a topic in Archive
It is not an exaggeration when I say that in every single game in PvP there is at least 2 on each team there is either AFK or botting the entire game. I know some suffer from bad connections or are using potato computers but none of those can be used as a valid excuse for being AFK for most of the battle. If being AFK is caused by incompatible mods then that is not a valid excuse either for testing mods is done in PvE in order not to become AFK in PvP battles. Then we have the true bots which can be clearly differentiated from the AFK'ers/late loaders, not that it makes any difference as they all are ruining the game for the community as a whole. It doesn't make any difference if a player is bottinh, AFK or justy loads late due to low performance PCs as they are all equally bad for the game and the game experience and I give all of them reports for botting just to make Wargaming aware that there are serious game issues with AFK'ers, botters and late loaders and that they are hurting their product. Is it really too much ask for you, Wargaming, to act on those issues of players that are either deliberately botting or are AFK for most if not all of the game either deliberately or due to other reasons?- 11 replies

Wargaming: Is it too much to ask to get rid of the bots and AFK'ers?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in Archive
You can see who is persistently AFK or botting as they all have abysmall stats and who aren't - players with average or above stats are not the problem as they are only occasionally AFK, it is the players that are consistently AFK/botting that Wargaming should focus more on, but by judging my average games WG is not doing anything effective to mitigate the problems.- 11 replies

Why can planes spot ships but not be spotted by the ships?
G01ngToxicCommand0 posted a topic in General Discussion
Why has WoWS a mechanic that allows for planes to spot ships while the ship not being able to spot and shoot down the planes because of the 6km maxium plane spotting range? This is a bad mechanic and should be removed by far larger detection ranges of planes so that ships with long range AA can defend themselves from invisi detection from enemy planes. -
Somethinf fishty with the server

But clearly it is a bug since the cruisers outnumber the battleships -

Air search radar - detection limit: the horizon. Also crew dedicated to search for airplanes will spot them much further out than 6km. -
Apologies to other WOWS Players, its only a game?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to Redcap375's topic in General Discussion
Wrong. Besides most players in WoWS cant even read english so any attempt in trying to coordinate the team has an above 90% chance of failure = chat has one purpose; which is venting at bad or stupid players. -
Apologies to other WOWS Players, its only a game?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to Redcap375's topic in General Discussion
Except that being respectful, tolerant and trying to positively motivating a badly playing team doesn't help one bit either, which leaves the player with only one option: berating the bad players, but then the anger should be directed against Wargaming for mixing the good and the bad players on the same team. -

Do we need a cap in the number of Battleships per battle?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to valrond's topic in General Discussion
If the matchmaker can't find enough players for such games then the problem is not the matchmaker but too small a playerbase, and to be honest the excuse of 'but the waiting time would be too great' is getting old real quick and is just a bad one at that. -
A Proposal for the World of Wrarships Creators
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to Apollo_The_Greek_13's topic in General Discussion
It has probably more to do with game engine limitations than anything else and also because it would tax the .RU servers players' potato PCs too much, as we all know Wargaming caters to the lowest common denominator at all times.. -

A very beautiful ship and as era enthusiast I would love to see it in WoWS but WG does not like mixed calibre batteries so, alas, it will never happen. -
Best win streak so far: 8 in a row Worst lose streak so far: 18 in a row. And yes I note down when I have long winning and losing streaks.

The great flaw of the 'Ocean' and all other maps is that all the maps of WoWS are sandbox type maps where running battles are unfeasible or even impossible to perform as well as 'crossing the t' type battles, because there is not enough room on the maps to use real world tactics. There is no way, within the limitations of this game, to make a map such as 'Ocean' work properly given the sandbox style maps and the core game mechanics which favours the 'bow in reversing BB' meta which relies not as much on individual player skill but rather the mistakes of the enemy player to succeed and the only viable and feasible way to minimize the negative effect of player mistakes is the 'bow in while reversing' approach, which also works for cruisers as well. Open maps such as the 'Ocean' map should require coordinated tactical maneuvering and 'crossing the t' of the enemy as the key to winning but as the game punishes the broadsiding ships severely, any tactical maneuvering that requieres anything but the current meta 'bow in reversing tactic' is doomed to fail, thus causing open maps to become ultraboring rather than exciting maps that benefits from flanking ships and advanced maneuvering.

Bastion Mode - Anyone else really not like it?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to Cirrus4000's topic in General Discussion
Also, the game mode is too hard to understand for far too many players as is the case with Epicenter mode as well. Remove those 2 modes and replace them with team deathmatch style gameplay as that doesn't require any higher brain function from the playerbase. -
Getting fraudulently reported + penalized for sinking enemy ships!?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to scorp123_CH's topic in Archive
However it shouldn't be possible to report people for "insults" or other chat rules infringement as this is a competetive game where emotions run high and players are anonymous so any kind of offence taken is actually a false emotion and response as you can only offend real people and not their online handles. -
No, it would bring everyone closer to the 50% average winrate; because there will be a smaller percentage of good and above players and conversely a far higher percentage of bad and below players on the server, so they will have lesser influence on the battles' outcomes than they usual do due to the increased negative effect the higher number of bad players exert on the battles. So every player with above average winrate should theoretically on average have experienced a drop in winrate during this 200% event.

The oldest and most flawed argument in online gaming.

Some players obsession with stats. What's up with that?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to Runner357's topic in General Discussion
Well since it is an online competetive multiplayer game I would dare to say that people who aren't obsessed with their stats are the ones that deviates from the norm. There really isn't a good point to play an online competetive multiplayer game if isn't played to compare one self to other players and to improve one's skills, and no, playing for 'fun' is not a valid reason to play online multiplayer competetive games - sorry. -
Immeasurable Frustration - The biggest loss streak I ever had at the worst time
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to ColdHeat's topic in General Discussion
More bad players online earlier in the day = you have less ability to carry team and there is a much greater probability for ending up on a complete ultra red tomato team. -

Upcoming Captain Skill Changes (Leak)
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to ThePurpleSmurf's topic in General Discussion
But it will probably not be long before some players will be able to combine the knowledge of their own detection range and 'Keen Intution' to use to shoot at and hit those 'nearest' enemy. Not to mention there is the possibility that this skill will benefit from UI mods that draws a line towards the enemy ship. And theoretically it can be used to make an aim prediction mod as that captain skill requires the range and direction of the nearest enemy ship to be send to the player which can be exploited to calculate distance, heading and speed of the enemy ship and ultimately a firing solution for an aim prediction mod.
