Anyone up for tooning with a noob
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to niksa83's topic in General Discussion
Not all clans are competetive minded, some are just there to help players have fun playing WoWS. You can add me as contact if you like. For selfish reasons I'd like as many good players in WoWS as possible p.S. I mostly play cruisers myself and destroyers. -
Lower your expactations, most people are simply just playing to shoot at what they can see right in front of them. Capping and defending objectives are far too abstract concepts for most people.

SMS Lützow - a good Premium Ship :-)
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in Battleships
It was only due to the low depths in the channel on the way back to harbour that the SMS Seydlits didn't founder; had the battle been a few more miles out west she would have sunk before reaching Wilhemshaven. So the story goes, poor bastards.- 37 replies

Tier 8 Russian Battleship Kronstadt leak
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to NameChangingIsToExpensiv's topic in Battleships
Heresy! no ship looks better than the HMS Hood This actually bodes well for the introduction of the Alaska class battle/heavy cruisers as there are many similarities between the two classes. -

As someone once said: "Ship happens" -
am i the only one who feels that containers need looking at?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to perrinluns's topic in Archive
Every container is a free bonus. -
Speed is also a tier deciding factor as the faster ship has more influence on the battle's outcome compared to a slower ship with similar damage capabilities. HMS Hood would be OP on tier 6 simply due to her max speed.
-
Actually it was, you showed that you can act swiftly and effectivly to seious problems.

Thx

I've must have missed something, what RU tier 8 BB?

Perhaps reduce the chance of fire on the Alabama?
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in General Discussion
I'll play it some more and see if it was random or not. -
WG did a good balancing on this ship IMHO, good ship with strong guns and AA but no game breaking skillz, like the other premiums such as the Missouri's radar or the magic of the Belfast. Worth the money.

HMS Hood (1940 version) inbound as T7 Premium BB
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to ShortySunderland's topic in Battleships
And the Alabama that breaks the ZOMG OP premiums mold, that ship is just OK but have nothing game or meta breaking skillz, really it is just a good enough premium without being better than its standard tree equivalents. -
Not to sound too un-alarmist but the Hood is still in supertesting and is not yet finalised.
-
Nice, thx for sharing, getting mine now

British acceleration and turn radius would help a lot.

Honestly I can't feel the difference, the primary problem is still the Akizukis lack of mobility - that is simply sub par and not competetive in any game meta, long, slow, high detection range and slow turn rate is a recipy for fail. It is completely dependent on team mates spotting as it will almost always be spotted by the DDs it is supposed to hunt. For it to work you have to have AFT & IFHE then get CE which requires an 18 point captain just to be competetive with 0 point captain on a Benson for example. The ship needs a major overhaul to fit into the game meta and it both need a buff in mobility and/or Repair Party so it can survive the initial moments when encountering enemy DDs. OK IRL it was an AA destroyer but as such a niche is not fun to play in the game it has to be DD hunting of which it is completely unsuited for p.t. Could have been a very fun ship to be aggressive in but from the start it has been relegated to supporting other DDs as it is not really suited for any of the roles in the present meta.

New trend: DDs now camping behind the BBs
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in General Discussion
Hyperbole is required sometimes. -
I can see his stats from forum yes? I don't check peoples stats when they post on forum unless their comment warrants it, which in this case it didn't. BTW I heard that PvE is a fabulous place to learn manual drops...
-
Good, sounds like WG really did something right this time; just a thought: perhaps move to higher tiers instead of seal clubbing?
-
Only a good thing that CVs had their manual drop on low tiers removed, experienced CV players seal clubbing was rampant instead of them playing on higher tiers with players that are more challenging to dispatch.

New trend: DDs now camping behind the BBs
G01ngToxicCommand0 replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in General Discussion
I mostly play CAs and DDs so I do but everyone else is camping all the time especially at high tiers and I have no clue on how to get those campers to move which is my OP question that no one wants to answer? -
It's not like it can get any worse...
