As I mentioned I am not an expert for latin, so that is why I asked particular people, why "jacta" was used. The response I received and the reasons for this, I wrote down here. I can't judge, if it was right, or wrong decision.

It might sound expensive, but the value of all of that is much higher than those 70k+ dubloons.

Well, good question. Probably it is because it starts with RU server and it is basically doing a round around the globe. It is also done to implement the update early in the morning, to be able to monitor that during that process.

Well, this was offered in the beggining of the update, also the deadline was given there. So everybody had chance to check that info for almost entire month. And honestly, mostly it was meant for those, who wanted to set it clear from the beginning, to go through all of their captains. Nothing changed with all those during entire update, so why would we prolong that, when it was clear since the beginning what is does and when it ends?

ČIli při srovnání s tvou lodí můžeš odhadout zda tě může přespotovat, přestřílet, zda má torpéda, protileteckou atd. Jen toto číslo neudává konkrétní čísla ohledně tématu zde probíraném - přesné hodnoty vzdálenosti odhalení za jistých podmínek. Například u bitevních lodí můžeš mít stejné číslo u dělostřelectva, přitom každý má jinou ráži a jiný počet děl.

So this is actually a feature, which is active already for several updates. Preload of the update was ready from Friday, today is the actual "patch day" to instal the update in advance, as tomorrow the next update will be live on other servers and on Thursday it will be on ours. Though you can set in WGC not to do preloads, but once you have it there, unfortunately you can't cancel the instaling process until it is done. Sorry for misunderstanding here, I also forgot about this.

Well, already for several updates the patch day is actually Tuesday, even though new update will be effective on our server on Thursday. It was done because of merging servers into one client. That is why once you started to intall next update, during that time you can't play and you have to wait till it is done. After that you will still be able to launch 0.10.0 update until Thursday early morning.

Interesting, I didn't know about this, as it should be set that you can pause it and play current update instead. I will investigate that and probably fetch some info, if possible

Of course while gathering stats we can see the details of that ships since her release or for a certain timegap. There are also plenty options how to filter that analyzing sample, to get much better understanding of the situation before and current one.

As I mentioned, for thise latin we decided to used modern perception, using transliteration in modern letters. So for latin we use this style, which was actually used often during the time period of history. So this style was used even for classical latin quotes, as if we would use two different styles there, it would be very confusing. I don't know the exact info about usage of this transliteration in modern letters myself, but I got that info from Italians and also literature specialists.

Interesting. I didn't know it is even possible to do it in this way. Can you please try this option? Thanks for the info, probably this will help others.

No hlavně, pokud to tam nikdo nenahraje ještě za současného updatu, tak to způstit ani nepůjde potom. Teda alespoň si to myslím, sám jsem to nezkoušel. Nicméně pokud by to šlo, pak by stačilo podpoře jen nahrávat ty replaye právě na tuto stránku...

Than there is the perception of what is broken. This Commander Skills Rework brought huge changes, brought new things, popular or less popular, strong or "useless". It is obvious, that huge game reworks bring plenty changes. But still, they are working fine (maybe some of them are working too fine), but there is nothing broken and the game is still running fine after all those changes. If something would really break the game, that it won't be possible to play or some bug or issue would prevent somebody of doing something or would bring huge advantage just to certain people, than it could be measured as broken and therefore it would need to be fixed. But reverting the change to return to the status in past never have any sense. There are plenty things being changed and implemented along this huge rework and also development is being made on those released versions of the game. Returning to the patch in past would lead into stop of any development, as devs would work with incorrect data. Reverting to status in past would only bring huge issues and won't bring anything positive.

Well, if you are downloading the preload of the next update, it is obvious, that you can't play at the same time. It has been always like this. But anyway, you can always pause the download to launch the game. And also in WGC you can tick out, if you don't wish to download next update in advance.

It was mentioned in the article since beginning.. the button was there until Monday 15th, so until yesterday.

Though technically it would be possible, but for that kind of player, to use that ARP Yamato in Rankeds, he would need to have tier VIII and IX ship too. And even if all of those, who purchased ARP Yamato without having tech tree X tier ship, would participate in Ranked battles, it would still be less than 0,01% of all participants of Ranked battles. So you can meet one, but it is very rare exception. And vast majority of those owners of ARP Yamato are much more skilled guys and collectors.

When we gather data and analyze them, we also take a look on usage of those ships per certain time and their statistics. So we will definitely also see those changes of number of battles played with any ship.

It is up to you about which ship you would like to write. Some of the most rare ones are listed in the article, if you want to search for more, you can always check wikipedia, where all premium ships should be listed.

With the issues I mentioned before, it is possible, that those old data can't be used anymore to recreate this. But honestly, I really don't have exact detailed technical information about this. Though on Steam there is already World of Warships full game with its own server.

How were you trying to launch this WGCheck? Through WGC?

We know about that and we also tried to raise this issue before. We also received an info, that though this is known worldwide in latin "Alea iacta est", it was decided to use modern latin for every sentence you can meet during upcoming updates. So it is a modern interpretation of latin, which was also used during WWII, so it is still correct. Well, what is wrong, that players are playing their favourite ships/captains in their favourite game mode?
