As others mentioned, atleast these bring you coal and free commander slots. And as also suggested here, if you really don't want to see those subs in your port, just don't collect them in the Armory.

Those naval flags are the ones mounted automatically, which are displaying the nation. With "pan" nations, like Pan-american, Pan-asian or Pan-european, you have the choice to either mount a flag of this "pan" nation, or you can mount the flag of that particular nation, from where this ship comes from. So on pan-asian ships you can choose f.e. indonesian, thai etc. Those flags also are not getting a flag slot.

For hard and definitely for super hard versions, definitely try to create full division to cooperate and also communicate via TS or Discord etc. IMO it will be impossible without proper coordination. But yeah, those super hard versions should be very challenging.
