Haven't played Gearing in a long time but it is mandatory to have at least a 10 skill captain in there. Otherwise you are in for a world of hurt. As it is true for all power creeped dds. I still remember the times when it was a good brawling dd. Until harugumo appeared. Yes the ship was basically nuked with the introduction of high rof dds that you could get for coal,steel, whatever. Smaland , Sherman , Somers, Halland , A. Regolo , Marceau ...etc will eat it for breakfast. Based on stats , it has the second worst avg damage from all tier 10 dds after grozovoi so clearly the ship is not as strong as it once was. Second worst WR , last at number of frags/ game. Clearly the ship needs a buff and I think It must come in the way of a better ROF. If you want to have fun , go Italian DD line.

played her on an event. not my cup of tea. there are much better ships for that amount of coal. she is a cruiser under a dd skin. very very slow , high skill cap, meh torps you need to set yourself very vulnerable to fire - I almost forgot about them, easy to get hit as you are huge. I have Groningen which is much more fun to play and imho a stronger ship.

One of those "doomsday" posts , huh? Tell us what the future holds , great one! You probably missed that part : The cost of servicing superships is 360,000 Credits. After you just spent 57 milion credits. (not 40 mil) for super bb. you will go out of credits in no time playing those ships even with premium account (without one don't even bother) unless you are top player all the time (which is kind of impossible) So yeah , ships are credit sink are there are plenty of reasons to go for a yamato instead of a satsuma.

I don't enjoy these "spam your social contacts with the game you play" contests (retweeting the contest post or associating my facebook name with the ingame nickname - even in a comment)and I am pretty sure nobody is. I am well past the age of bragging with what games I play - nowadays I want to keep it private. While I understand the marketing reasons for this, it is kind of pathetic that you can't enter the Holiday Giveway without that part. Wasn't the average age in this game 30 or so ? Or was it in world of tanks. I don't think you understand your player base too well WG.

Decided to bite to get 8 more containers. (previously had 8 containers from new year certificates) Now instead of flags I got Perth , Jurua and Pommern , 2500 gold and 12500 coal Really happy as I really wanted Pommern as it missing from my collection. Overall a good deal. Never heard of Jurua thoug, looks like a very rare ship.

I only took the big containers with new year certificates. took 4-5 of them , not a single ship / premium /anything valuable only flags. Only thing i bought this year was a couple of weekend premium time , Dunkerque Black and 60 days of premium. Not going to support anything related to gambling. I think I spent enough already , my wallet will be closed for the remainder of this year.

I was wanting to point this out. Yes , It is extremely annoying. It looks like the screaming child audio repeats way to often and also other voices of the crowd/ men making it a frustrating experience in the end. I really hope they fix this with a patch , otherwise the only solution would be to change port and I will as that repeating screaming / crowd cheer every 3-5 seconds is way too annoying.

I am close to 56% WR but I hid my stats so they will not be indexed by tools like XVM . I don't want third party tools to have my data through Wargaming API as some of them even store it. Not sure if that isn't illegal. and Yes , too much data is available. What premium ships I have , when you last played , batttles etc... I don't want that data outside of this site. PERIOD. Second , many idiots that want to have an argument with you will first look at stats and start to cherry pick data only to have an argument. third , to stop being focused by people that play with those add-ons. forth , I play this for enjoyment. People that play this for stats , seriously need to see a doctor and absolutely failed the purpose of this game. Not sure why other people do it but these are for me.

Maybe it is just me but while the new water may look "realistic" it certainly doesn't behave like in reality. I noticed that in port and in game , water mass /waves move way too fast to be anywhere near credible. I sailed many times on seas and oceans and never seem such a fast movement for waves with the same patterns , even in rough weather.Water looks and feels like a container that you keep shaking and artificial waves are moving - too artificial even for a game. Perhaps lower this time to not look like someone is shaking the container every second or so.. Also it would be nice for weight of the ship to be taken into account when sailing. Currently the same effect is applied on the 50000 ton ship as to a 5000 ton and it looks kind of sketchy - I don't know maybe there are engine limitations but IMHO it feels wrong. The same small wave that shakes a 5000 ton ship should have less effect on a 50000 ton behemoth. My 2 cents.

To be honest there is a sort of division abuse happening in this game but is probably on a lower scale due to RNG / MM. But you can do it and it is actually used to buff your WR. And yes communication and cherry picking ships will help you win battles and pad stats. Problem is when 3 people cherry pick some certain ships and absolutely reck havoc on their flanks as the game will not match the other team with the exact ships/ divisions on the exact flanks. Like for example 3 x Smolensk's , 3x Klebers divisions etc.

WG Support told me that Windows 11 is not supported yet. The game works but they don't want to fix any bugs reported with it most likely and they wait to gather metrics on how many users use it probably. I noticed some green lines randomly when playing under windows 11 (didn't see them with windows 10) but otherwise the game runs ok. I like Windows 11 , much better that 10 imho in UX and usability. People are just bitching online like always.

To be honest , I will stop playing when they will introduce subs in randoms. I love subs and I played SH3 a LOT..and I mean a LOT!!... but not in this game. They try so hard to get in more players and copy you know who but all they will accomplish is to destroy that small 20k online players that come here only for surface ships. They should have offered the option for others players to switch them off if they wanted . I don't want subs in my randoms games - played them in co-op ...they are crap ... stupid gameplay and retarded mechanics. No , just no. They are not fun!!! At all! This will probably the last nail in the coffin if they go ahead with it.

So is this a minotaur with only 2 turrets at tier 8? As someone said it , it's a hard sell.
