Ich denke ich werde die Blyska nehmen. Der Skipper steht kurz vor seinem 16. Skillpunkt und im Random ist sie inzwischen mein Lieblingsschiff.

Agree on Sims - it's the most agile DD on Tier 7 by quite some margin. Concerning Leningrad and Blyskawica, I think we can agree that the two are close enough in potential that it comes down to individual skill, which is a good thing IMO.

Only in vacuum. In atmosphere you have to lead, at least to compensate for lateral drag.

Wenn Du ja nicht so arg auf Krawall gebürstet wärst, dann könnte ich Dir sagen, dass das manchmal - insbesondere auf älteren Systemen vorkommen kann. In dem Fall spinnt der client einfach. Sehr häufig kommt das vor, wenn man aus dem Spiel rausgetabbt hatte und wieder reingeht. Vermutlich liegen einige der Daten mit niedriger Priorität noch im virtuellen Speicher und kommen nicht ins physikalische RAM zurück. Meist ruckelt es dann auch insgesamt ein wenig. In dem Fall hilft es, den client zu schließen und neu zu starten. Noch besser ist es, wenn Du weniger parallel laufende Prozesse aktiv hast. Aber da Du offensichtlich nur rumstänkern willst erklär ich das jetzt nicht...

Fehler können jedem passieren. Ich war auch schon zwei mal versehentlich pink. So lange man die Schuld dafür nicht bei den anderen sucht und sich ein Quäntchen Mühe gibt, aus seinen Fehlern zu lernen ist das auch kein Problem!

Time to dust off my soviet DDs and put rpf on all of them. Escape is now by speed only if need really be and hunting the few remaining stealthers will be fun for a while.... Let the games begin.

I hate to say it and I'm not the doomsayer type of person but I'm also utterly disappointed so far. DDs are my main class but I'm feeling more and more alienated by the design decisions that are made in WoWs. And thus I'm playing less and less. I was really looking forward to the german DD line and I had high hopes for them to become fun and engaging. But no. Unfortunately not. Yes, yes. I'll close the door silently behind me. <taps hat>

Tinder, you should thank them! If they managed to unbalance your Zen in such a fashion, they gave you something to reflect upon. An opportunity to learn about yourself, to become a better person, to control your anger. Use it wisely!

Bis auf Erkennungsreichweite, Grundgeschwindigkeit und Schaden. Sind ja auch alles völlig nebensächliche Basisattribute, gell?

Ich finde die Idee gut. Vielleicht nicht frei skalierbar, aber zusätzlich zur schneller/kürzer Variante, die wir ja jetzt schon haben noch eine langsamer/weiter einbauen (so dass man 3 Settings hat, aus denen man vor jedem Gefecht eine auswählen kann) wäre schön und würde das Spiel variabler machen. Vor allem, wenn man diese Settings aus dem Skillbaum nimmt (oder einen Skill zum Freischalten nutzt), damit man von Gefecht zu Gefecht entscheiden kann. Für mich klingt das gut.

Oh, ok. That clarifies it a bit. I feel that I don't have enough experience either with RN cruisers or against them to for a qualified opinion yet. So I withhold my judgement for now.

Was concealment somehow buffed / changed recently? I'm just asking because as I see it, DD conceal isn't the biggest construction site in the game. By far. And as you play DDs yourself, how do you think you can keep them viable without damage avoidance via conceal, pray tell? It's difficult enough as it is and with the expansion of toys like hydro to more and more ships, life hasn't become exactly easier for DDs recently.

Do you really think this will make a difference? He is begging for removal, plain and simple.

I'm curious what some people here make of my stats. Most of my stats are mediocre at best. But my WR is quite a bit higher than you would expect from that. Reason is simple. My twitch skills are not very good. I'm the first to acknowledge that. But I'm good at tactics and strategy. I tend to be at the right place at the right time. This doesn't stop me from making the most horrendous blunders imaginable but more often than not, my tactical decisions are sound. What does that make me? A good player? A bad player? Some strange animal apart???

Lower their silhouette by making them sit lower in the water. This should attenuate the damage situation. Apart from that, increase muzzle velocity for the higher tier ships slightly.

I skipped most of the pain by free-XPing to tier 5. But now that I'm sailing in the Fiji, this ship is indeed a gem! Still learning the do's and don't's but take this as a heads up for all those who haven't given up on them just yet.
