Well thats me into the first three, but hold on.......... -
Before playing the Langley I was pointed in the direction of various carrier 'how to play' videos and one that I watched had the player discovering that once an air group was modded and mounted there was no reverting to the previously mounted type. Until now there hasnt been any reason to not mount the next available groups but I have reached the Ranger with very substantially different air groups Mod 1: 1 x Fighter 2 x TB 1 x DB Mod 2: 3 x Fighter 1 x DB Mod 3: 2 x TB 2 x DB Mods 2 & 3 would not be an issue if 2 x carriers were allowed in division but my concern is that if I upgrade and find in current circumstances mod2 or 3 makes the grind miserable then as in WoT I should be able revert to a previously researched mod which would seem sensible and appropriate. Is this a bug or an oversight that wasnt realised with the suspension of carriers in divisions and if so would it be fair to temporarily change this until such times as divisions once again revert to their previous state? I hope this doesnt come across as a whine because I only want to draw attention to something that I think is a bit of an anomaly AND at this point I havent been daft enough to upgrade the air groups and find myself stuck!

So I'm a dimwit, you can swop back to a previous air group mod, I tried it earlier. -
The video ended for me just after the 2nd torpedo hit the target you were aiming at and with the chat text and the sudden 'disconnect' or ending of the video, I made a poor guess on what I saw in front of me!

It appears that Keltu got removed from the beta test, thats how I interpreted what happened

when flying off select the squadron you want fighters (numeric 2) torpedo bombers (TB's numeric3 & 4 if you have two squadrons) dive bombers (DB's numeric 5) when each squadron is ready to fly off you can use the F key whilst the squadron is selected to put it the air, once the first squadron is readying up (normally I get fighters up 1st as they can assist with scouting and early warning) by using 3,4,5 and F in whichever order you want the planes to fly off in and they will fly off in that sequence. (when doing it you will see a number in orange above the squadron, that is its number in the queue) use bombers in the 1st wave of a combined attack, if you set the enemy on fire they will often panic and use the damage control party which means your torpedo hits will cause (probably) enough flooding damage to sink the ship before the players damage control is available again. try to make the enemy fighters fly to you whilst keeping friendly AA cruisers between you and them

Lets you know that you sank something by causing flooding as opposed to say a magazine detonation -
Sending aircraft to a one tier higher carrier can also see TB and DB squadrons decimated by the AA and defensive fighters before making an attack, I lost 3 squadrons in one attack to a Lexington last night, hard lesson quickly learned.

I thought the research and financial costs were set low to encourage faster movement up the trees for the users whilst the devs get the data to mine that they require? It would seem very foolish not to take the chance to play the higher tiers before release and gain important experience to give you that extra edge at a later date?

Playing carriers click on a friendly squadron and have your planes fly in escort of another players, useful for not needing to 2nd guess what they are going to target if bombers or beef up your fighters abilities by strength of numbers or just provide fighter cover for another player

I believe it is also due to the extra co-ordination 2 carrier players in division can bring, ergo: using teamspeak or similar. With 2 x randoms the chance of team work and co-op play is greatly reduced. Ironically for a team game.

Just a free camera (attached to the ship to stop cheating) on a key push would be great

Have you tried running ping plotter? This will identify where the bottleneck is, from experience it will be one of the jumps between your ISP and WG, meaning the fault isnt with either of them. -

CTRL or SHIFT + X locks the guns either on vector or bearing - cant remember which way round it is. It isnt a seperate turret solution but at least keeps your guns focused in the direction you want them to be.

WG really need to [edited] slap the whiners, the chat abusers and the haters and f*ck them off out of beta testing and invite people who will both a) appreciate the opportunity and b) test the game as it is the only reason we are here. From my own personal position with 56k+ games in WoT and a clan commander, i havent been back to that game since 13 or 14th a) because the gaming environment is/was so much better here and b) a game that requires proper teamwork and thinking about tactics is much more fun than the solo FPS style of play that WoT has turned into, in my opinion of course and finally c) with the Saipan I have to think about 4 air groups and a ship all at the same time and trust me I am loving the challenge! -
In order I am seeing them on a a small statistical sample (14 battles) Fault Line 6 (4 domination) Islands 5 (5 domination) North 2 (Standard) Big Race 1 (Encounter) in a total of 214 battles I have seen an Ice map once

I was reading that the load on the server would make this impossible to implement
