Cannot help but think that for Russian navy , a very wide rather than high tech tree would be best ; so many interesting ships at low tiers, so few real ships at highest tiers.

You might make some interesting scenarios where you try to board a fleeing merchant ship and bring it back PvE games might feature this sort of thing.

Option for camo types that change to hit chance (once spotted, targeted visually) and chance to spot (at distance, blend in) would be sweet

This ship is very good looking and famous so should be a favourite Good post The very well known weakspots and large size will make this the "TOG" of this game...though a fast one..... as weakspot well known, so people will be jostling to get in plunging fire zone for attacking it on sight.

As NPC and target might be nice Making interesting and appropriate scenarios to fight over would make things like this useful.

This had a major impact on naval designs Its almost perfect for games, because many designs were designed to the same weight so lots of designers tried to mix the various strengths of ships with the same parameters. Then you get a generation designed to beat them. -
This ship will be useful for the Russian CV line. I guess they will all be paper.....

Ground installations would be a nice touch : to bombard, as victory targets, to fire back, to knock out before they spot etc

If they have a good warship engine, no reason not to do sail too. Might be more acceptable to the wives !

According to WG CEO, this sort of game hinges on whether wives etc accept casual gamers playing it. So lets hope it goes a little more mainstream....

My favourites are the disasters to the Japanese Navy in WWII as their quality of risk prevention decreased and huge ships just exploded.
