    Upgrading torpedoes on the Minekaze

I *mostly* used the 7km ones, but the 10km, although slower are really good also. It's just another flavor and the time to use them... well changes just as. Thus I agree with Boswelli and others above him, It depends on your play style, or rather, your preferred play style. You can still easily "go in close" with the 10km ones... but skim the line between being detected or not with a safer margin. Remember the 10KM torps actually have a better/lower detection range. Though if you are popping them off at 10km range... the lead will be very very big (try it on a Phoenix ;) ) and the chances of the target altering their course even without spotting your torps is there. Mostly the people complaining about the 10km torps are they same people sailing in a straight line. They don't know it yet, but the 7km torps will still kill them. I did just as well with the 7km torps as with the 10km torps. I depends on your opponents also, but the 7km ones is just a quicker pace of gameplay (being on your toes), the 10km ones are more about your opponents being on their toes (or a bit more relax gameplay when it comes down to detection ranges). Apples and oranges

The SIMS is awful now :(

Well, getting your steering knocked out... get used to it with every DD. It has nothing to do with the Sims itself. If you get hit by anything, even stray seagull crap... it knocks out something. Still, next patch it's getting some love. Just .. no, really .. your steering, engine will be knocked out... by seagull crap. You're lucky if you don't catch fire because of it. (Also, getting the captain skill (forgot name), that lets you keep some steering/engine power... changes everything! Get to it asap as a DD captain)

Isokaze or Minekaze which is best

Isokaze is a Minokaze, if you are used to (and you should by then) playing with only 7km torps... and with better MatchMaking ;) They Iso's guns are (relative) better then the Minokaze, so as is mentioned before. It's a great sealclubber Still doesn't mean it's OP... at those tiers you just get more people sailing in a straight line. Other people will learn and get better habbits from good Isokaze drivers ...like pushing A or D now and then... it does wonders! (It's super effective! - I really didn't want to add this, but I had to... for some reason(?) - Might have to do with the people complaining about torps and all.)

    The Mutsuki (T6 Japanese Destroyer)

I love playing DD's .. I can even see the IJN Tier VI working ... still, somewhat. But looking down the line. I only see longer reloads, less/worse detection range ... and the gun's don't really count. Sure fire them and add +4km(not sure) range to your detection range. So for me, the IJN DD line ended at tier 5. I must admit, the range of the torps gets better and the speed also. But range means less and less the further out you go (duh?). More time for your target to change course. CA's get more wings and they also add to the fact that targets dodge their torps and bombs. It all adds up. Having to wait minutes between shots... I'll pass. Maybe DD's are headed the way of the light tanks when spotting xp is added(?). But, if thats it... who thought of that!? It's pretty big shift going from stealthy torp boat to spotter with a shot every ~2minutes. But if spotting is the thing they are going for, whats up with the more "AA". That also gives away your position. Maybe they will call that being flexible and having options, you can turn them off right. I'm going way off topic. Erm, I might try out the IJN T6 ... but probably not for a good while. I do still play my T5 a lot. It's a great vet ship I do hope WG revisits the DD line of both nations.
