    There were 125 rank1 players in first season if I remember right... And while kitakami didnt earn credits or XP it also didnt have repair or maintenance costs (unless you mounted premium consumables)... worse part I think was the captain didnt gain any XP at all... Later on they added some kitakami missions to give credits and XP for damage done but the missions were bugged and never worked properly...

    Not really... season was over and days after they gave 10 million credits for rank 1... season 2 was about to start when they gave out kitakamis for us to test (I saw it appear in port and didnt even knew why... it was a guy in random battles that told me cause he also got one without knowing)... season 2 was already on the way when WG announced on portal they gave out rank1 players kitakamis to test... Note I'm not complaining that "I want reward for season 1"... I appreciate that they gave us those credits and kitakami trial after... just like this season they changed the flag after season was over. But we're arguing opinions here... season 1 reward was lots of flags and stuff from moving through the ranks... cause again reward is something you gain, not something you get to see and touch for 2 months and then is taken away (for me at least) Edit: I miss kitakami... and the pretty torp walls

    Nothing to do with sufficient or not... a loan is not a reward... you dont take rewards away... My season 1 reward was the 50 million credits I gain that allow me to buy more ships and stuff...

    That was a loan (to test the ship so it could be balanced further... thats why they asked us for feedback on the ship after)... not a reward... Its not like you get rewarded a pirate flag and 2 months later its removed from you... P.S.- but I was joking about the season 1 rewards... I know very well we wont get anything for it (anything we get to keep and show off that is)

    sweet napalm laughing skulls for extra fire chance... me wants it.. I would still have prefered they allow us to mount more then 1 flag (so we can pimp up the ships as we get flags) but good change of pace for WG actually giving us something different..

Can I get a Jolly Roger Flag with the hat and glooves (for the little bones)? Or a zombie crew

    Ingame channels issues

    Anyone having problems with channels in port not working properly? Mine sometimes say I'm alone in a channel even though there are a lot more people in it and even "talking"/typing... then without doing anything (normally after some hours) it starts working again perfectly... Even though I'm "alone" in a channel I can still see what others "hiden" type and they can see what I type as well... Also can have multiple channels open with some working fine and others with that issue (of only showing me online in that channel) at same time Even opened a ticket to support (still going on), but was curious as to if anyone was having similar problems

    XVM... for WoWs?

    You're assuming a lot... How you know the information was intended to be provided or not? Forgetting same old XVM that started giving minimap with names and last known position? (That WG now have as default on WoT) Forgetting the mod that shown HP to be restored on BB's? (and that WG now have as default on WoWs) And stats... didnt WG came up with its own ranking system in WoT? Called it personal rating or whatever that is their own personal formula for a WN8 kind. So just cause the game dont have something vanilla it means all mods that add something should be banned? There are people that defend that idea... Saying that a mod that shows players stats is cheating and worse then aim assist is just plain dumb and I doubt even you agree with what you are saying. You really think the advantage of knowing if someone is likely able to know the range of the torps on his ship is bigger then the advantage of someone that can citadel you with every salvo regardless of skill? And everyone that dont want/like XVM can both not install it and make his profile private... what advantage does those using XVM now have over you? And what if XVM dont exist and people continue tabbing out to check on website the stats of other players? And what about a player knowing someone on the enemy team and go "X player is very good, everyone target him first" like I see several times on randoms/rankeds And lets not start when clans arrive what will the more competitive ones use as "requirements"? The players personality and ability to chat for hours on teamspeak? I really dont see the big issue with a mod that you can just "turn off" for you by simply changing profile to private... why would everyone else have to not be able to use it cause someone dont like it?

    XVM... for WoWs?

    The excuse that xvm is bad cause it makes people start insulting and raging is the lamest ever... people do that with or without xvm... same thing about the "helping weaker players instead of raging at them". Some players dont want to be "helped"... I dont support insulting or raging even though I may have lost my temper on several occasions, thought not once over stats but yes over really bad play... something that xvm has nothing to do with. I mean having someone spaming 5Km torps at targets 15Km away and behind an island? (even if by any miracle the torps keep going its not like they will jump over the island) Shooting torps on allies back and then blaming them to dying to it cause they should have seen it? lol Chat toxicity will always exist unless you disable chat... its not xvm that will change any of that. Its people mentality that is wrong. Yes same mentality that make people give up when odds are not in their favor... or to complain about others performance even before seing them do anything wrong ingame... Same thing that make people report you cause you managed to kill them... go figure Still for me xvm beneficts far outweighs what may appear in chat... it helps with the decision making and planning of a game... who to focus help on, what player may be able to hold its own for longer so you can prioritize help on a different flank, who is most likely to spam you friendly torpedos so you can keep an eye for it and not be caught off guard... etc Despite I dont have sensible feelings that get me thinking about myself just cause someone decides to share his frustration on the chat (And so that makes the only negative thing of XVM irrelevant leaving only the beneficts... for me that is)

I dont mind AFK's on ranked much... basically they stay in their spawn in the back all game... better then those players that start game by sailing straight foward and 30 secs later poof they are dead giving enemy team points and putting you at a bigger disadvantage then having an alive AFK (that appart from not shooting at the enemy is not giving them points either) Much worse to have those hatsuharu's in team that could never compete with a full equiped benson... Or Myoko's, or Nagato's... There are many worse things to have in your team in ranked games then afk's... Edit: And you can always add that afk's dont get a star when their team win the battle also... but thats back to the old topic of who should get stars and who should not lose stars...

    [Feedback] Ranked Season 3

    First of all, I'll say my personal reason to play ranked battles is that I prefer 7vs7 games a lot more then 12vs12... This is the main reason I'm playing this season (and so that answers why I still pay despite some points you make, same rewards, starting too soon, etc... but I'll go over the points anyway) 1) Too Soon For me wasnt really a problem it being "so soon" after last season ended cause like I said I prefer 7vs7 games a lot more then the normal random 12vs12 games... Now there were problems with the starting of the season... mainly the complete lack of information/announcements by WG... Its like WG EU found out about ranked battles by players posting in forum and only days after it was already running. (When does it start, when does it end, what ranks, what tiers, what rewards, irrevocable ranks, etc... that information should be announced a lot sooner so players prepare) As for feedback from previous season... there were some changes for good or bad (maps, positioning of capture points, amount of capture points per base...). All that will give another feedback at the end of this season they can work upon. But how about the irrevocable ranks? only difference was WG removed the irrevocable rank 5... 2) Jolly Rodger Rewards? Copy-Paste much? Couldnt come up with something original for this season? (If you need same time to come up with rewards equal to the time to make a new ship then yes maybe it was too soon) You want to make some competitive mode (as you call ranked battles despite its not really) but you have to make some reward for those who reach rank1... Otherwise people are competing for what? Yes I would say adding some different rewards (like port slots, free XP, dobloons, or even those bonus cammoflages) would be good but having something unique for each season is important (as it is you can use them all simultaneously... winning a different flag but having to choose cause you can only mount 1 is also lame) You dont have to give free ships everytime... there are lots of rewards you can "give" that wont cost you a thing and will make players happy to fight for 3) Queue Times Lets be honest... queue times is one of the main problems of WoWs in general (all players that want to play CV's or play high tiers know this)... Rankeds are no different... especially when you limit the playerbase as you do in rank5+... Last season I had like 20 mins queues (cause there was at most 1 game running so if you miss that game you stay in queue till that game ends so you may have the chance to join the train) This season is the same (since I reached rank5 I havent found a game yet)... And currently there is what? 40-50 people at rank5... make some games some people would drop back to rank6 and theres not enough people to make games again (or you're back to the 20 mins queues again) And truth be told, queue time should be a priority cause no one wants to sit 20+ mins looking at a screen hoping for a game... Better thing about the NA server is not the less amount of stars needed each rank... but rather the brackets. Having a 10-2 bracket (instead of what we have now of 5-2) allows for more players in queue and so more games running (and so less queue time). And as people reach rank1 they are removed from ranked so in time even the worse player would reach rank1 (its not a measure of skill, only of patience) so do you really need to tight the bracket so much to begin with? 4) Other Rewards I've already mentioned that they could add something more/different then just flags or credits (even though its nice to get those)... port slots, dobloons, free XP, cammoflages (hell you could even give discounts on buying stuff on premium shop... maybe you would make more money with people being able to buy stuff cheaper if that is what rocks your boat) The "rumours" about last season giving a ship were just that rumours... but thats again cause WG (mostly EU since I wont go to RU to search for info, as I dont play on the RU server) dont know/bother to do things properly... Again where is the planning? Hell we might even get to rank1 and the reward is something else then the jolly rodger flag... anyone would be surprised if WG changed their minds middle of the season? Or would be a surprise if they havent decided what the reward would be when season started and so just copied same as previous season and will see in the end what they give? I've seen more then once WG staff saying that they only post announcements when they know about things (as they dont want to say possibilities and people assuming it for a certain) Based on what happened its safe to say that WG EU didnt know about this ranked season, and only noticed about it days after it was already running. If they dont know what happens anyone have any hopes of any feedback we give being heard? 5) Roundup Season 2 Continuing on my previous point I might guess that WG havent noticed that previous season ended yet... thats why no announcement. 6)Dividing playerbase Cant really point fingers at WG at this... we cant ask them to give us more content, more missions, competitions and then complain there are too much stuff going on lol We can argue that they could expand the ARP missions (or any other missions in general) to random AND ranked battles, so we wouldnt have to choose between doing one or another... * Yes I might criticise WG EU a lot here cause I feel they should do things differently concerning ranked battles... I'm not saying they sit on their asses watching the sun all day. Just making it clear so we dont start the hate train going again...

    They never promised a ship as reward for season 2... they did make an article talking about the rewards of season 2 where they did planted that "that might be more" rewards sentence and people just assumed it was a ship... (not surprisingly we got neither a ship, nor anything at all... but thats the thing with sentences like "that might be more"... it means there might also not be anything more) But we did get lots of credits, bonus flags and a unique permanent rank1 flag so wasnt all that bad. Also WG gave "Kitakami" to rank 1 players from 1st season not as a reward but cause they wanted feedback on the ship (cause the ship was removed since beta to be rebalanced) I didnt mind testing it, and dont deny it could be a fun ship at times but that was that... rewards are permanent (you dont reward someone with something and then remove it after a while) Also remember that 1st season rank 1 was like 125 players and 2nd season was what? 500? 1000? (pretty much everyone that had the time to press battle button enough times to reach rank1)

    Season 3 - Rewards and suggestions

    I dont mind the credits, XP or even bonus flags as rewards from reaching certain ranks (thats a good thing actually). But having the rank1 reward the same pirate flag from last season I find it disapointing (if it is true that is)... Would rather have something unique to each season (even if its only a flag like the pirate one). Even if another different flag wouldnt be hard to make and would be better in my opinion. Also would be fun to be able to mount more then just 1 flag (like we can do with the bonus flags) Also on one hand still a shame that WG dont bother to inform the players of what is going on... once again we have to figure out on our own from other servers and gossip when do the ranked battles start, what tiers will they be, what rewards or not... (is it that hard to give us players a heads up so we prepare the ships, crews and what not? We might get a warning on portal about ranked battles when they are already on the way) Also noticed they got rid of some irrevocable ranks in higher ranks... thats good (I would still prefer the only irrevocable rank would be the last one but oh well was a step in the right direction anyway)

    hum... if I install "Historical Naval Ensigns (Flags) in 2k HD (by Adiya)" game doesnt launch. It shows the loading screen, the loading bar goes to 100% but then freezes there (it wont change into login screen) If I pick other flag mods (for example MLP Flags (by MajorRenegade)) game starts without any problem. I tried installing everything from your modpack (except flag mods) then installed those "Historical Naval Ensigns (Flags) in 2k HD (by Adiya)" after by getting them from Adiya forum topic and game works with flags just fine...

    Nerf US carriers WG!

    Might be just me (that I suck at CV playing) but while playing every IJN CV all I always hoped was that my oponent was a US CV... cause any japanese CV at any tier can easily counter and nulify its US counterpart... Especially up to tier 8... then lexington can sort of be able to stand against a shokaku (shokaku still better in my opinion) but essex and midway can then struggle against taiho and hakuryu... But again these were my feelings when playing... yes unchallenged essex and midway can do a lot higher amounts of damage, but how can they be unchallenged if their opponents are IJN CV's with 3 or 4 times higher amount of fighter squadrons in the air?

    Well I was used to every plane being a potential kamikaze from playing battlestations... its not something game breaking but truth is the AA on WoWs works a lot differently. Still would be fun if when a carrier is sunk all its planes (after completing their orders) would turn into kamikazes... would be better then just sitting there flying in circles over dead CV till finally dropping like dead flies on the ocean (with CV gone and nowhere to land sending the plane against a close target for the hope of some small damage or even starting a fire wouldnt be that unrealistic) And no... they used kamikaze attacks in different ways. Yes they had level bombers dropping "bombs" manned by people and very imaginative suicide ways of trying to cause damage to the enemy but what I believe people are talking here are just the common fighters loaded with explosives they just fly into enemy ships. Those would would be the same aircraft the carriers have (the common fighters or bombers)

    When you press "Alt" it shows the amount of HP you can restore by using the repair ability on BB's (you have to take some damage or there is nothing to repair) Basically it tells you how much HP you can restore so you dont waste the repair to recover 1k HP... its one of the most usefull mods like the minimap one.

As happy as I am to get some credits back from modules I wont ever need again (and that are gaining dust on some corner of my port warehouse) this is far from being "Port Interface: Solving the Depot Problem"... this isnt solving anything. Its an attempt to minimize the lack of a proper solution at best. The "depot problem" as WG call it will be solved when they implement a proper depot. Where we can actually see what we have there and choose what we want to sell or not. Yes this way we get some credits back from selling old stuff... but we also lose modules we may not want to sell at all (and that we will waste even more credits to buy back). Why would we want to keep more then a single type of module other the the elite one? What about those ships that have more then 1 gun config that are usable? Or the DD's that can actually choose between types of torpedos (range/speed) And what even of carriers that change between decks to suit the type of game we want to play? Anyway I still dont get what difficulty is to make a damn depot interface... why dont you ask WoT developers that made the one for tanks? Its the same company is it not? With not too much luck they may even be able to use the one they already made without wasting 6 months creating a new one from scratch that looks and does exactly the same.

    You always pay a repair bill even if you camp on the edge of the map and dont get hit a single time... its the sea shells that stick to the hull and you have to pay workers to clear the hull once the ship gets back to dry dock in your port. And polishing the propellers...

    A print screen of that would help but skills only turn white when you use points to activate them... until you choose them they are all gray (doesnt mean they are blocked).
