the Iwaki Alpha seems to be a CL/DD hybrid. Quite a powerful and capable ship. Wish I had it.

i think my order will be something like IJN CL/CA, IJN DD, US DD, US CL/CA, IJN BB. Have to wait for US BBs before making a decision where in the list they will be placed. Tried a few CV games, didn't like the style, it's just not mine, so mayyyybe they will follow somewhere in the far distance, maybe they won't. I'll probably play all lines simultaneously (Daily 1.5/2/whatever it'll be on each line, rest of the time grind those I want to get to higher tier first)

Oben im Banner vom Forum den Customer support button oder auf der WoWS Homepage ganz oben links Kundendienst anklicken. Auf der dann kommenden Seite je nach Spracheinstellung "Meine Tickets" anklicken, der Rest klaert sich von alleine (neues Ticket, Auswahlmenue, spaeter dann Dateianhang). Ich bin weiss der Himmel kein Experte, aber muesste nicht eigentlich der Lieferort des Produkts der Ort sein, an dem der Server steht? Ich hab mal ne Weile freiberuflich fuer eine Softwarefirma online ein paar Projekte gemacht, und vom Finanzamt damals zu hoeren gekriegt, dass der Ort zaehlt, wo der Server physisch vorhanden ist, und da das Irland war waren es fuer mich in Deutschland nicht steuerbare Umsaetze und mussten genauso auch ausgewiesen werden, obwohl ich das ganze von meinem Schreibtisch aus gemacht hab. Muesste hier die Leistung dann nicht auch entsprechend erfolgen, wo der Server steht? Wuerde auf jeden Fall die Kalkulation fuer WG erleichtern, da sie nur einen festen Steuersatz haben und nicht 20 verschiedene von 30 verschiedenen Laendern...

The playstyle the OP is suggesting is the one I try to follow when I bring out the Fuso. I'll try to stay not too close to the islands, and if I am passing one I try to make sure my course isn't too straight. Sure it's risky and sometimes gets you killed with no support, but every tactic is dangerous. With this one I have a chance to react to problems on either side of the map and can also make a push at a later point. Yes, it takes a lot of situational awareness, and I'm not saying that I always read the signs correctly on the minimap, but that's part of the learning experience. As someone said earlier, there is no "I go there because it's the only way", but this tactic lets you do something while making a decision where to go.

It seems rather... inconsistent at times. I often get the "detected" sign from the captains skill light up while I'm driving through smoke, even when I'm not shooting, have AA guns turned off and am actually headed in a direction that leaves more and more smoke between the enemy ships and me. On the other hand, I've often enough been shot from smoke by someone who didn't pop up. There must be something like WOT's double bush mechanic that I havn't figured out in detail yet.

I assume it's just a guess, and I guess about the same. WoWP was 700, but in WoWS the matches are longer, so the number should be lowered, if they indeed want to give us a little ship, but still be in the same ballpark of "time investment"

What Ectar and all the others said only makes sense if there is no (hard) wipe between OBT and release, so nobody would actually say something conflicting

The same wat at least hinted on German forum However, Ectar, in another thread, didn't discount the possibility of a wipe during OBT, if there is need for it. But I guess it's going to be some sort of soft wipe where you keep the XP and can redistribute it

I don't actually see many points of view regarding this particular mod, the community, at least the part that is on the German and the English language forums here are very much unified in this thing being bad and game changing.

Well, the WG NA twitter did mention that OBT will start somewhere between now and September, so there's still lots of time. Plus, in Alpha I guess (I obviously wasn't there) it was a lot slower to actually get matches due to the number of people online, no?
