It accepts premium as only modifier from what I saw Edit: and with the days of premium from updating to 0.5.5 and premium days purchasable from diamonds I don't personally have a big issue with that

Bought 20 or so. Still have to sell ships every now and then, but that's just because too many lines I play are on high tier by now and don't make cash. Will buy many ships back in the future, so this is more of a long term investment

There's one or two in about half the battles I'm playing since they decreased the teamdamage necessary last patch. But in not one game has any of them misbehaved and given the impression that he is a deliberate teamkiller.

I especially like, when they are trying to gain distance and wiggle from left to right. Then I usually aim just a little to one side and wait for them to start that turn there. Even with their fantastic rudder shift time at that point they can't turn back fast enough

OMG... went to bed yesterday when this thread had 3 pages. Had too much work during the day to check and now spent the last 2 hours reading all that happened! Really looking forward to this. 300 battles in a month might be possible, but 500 might be a tad too much for me. BUT: I may spend much more time than usual around tiers 6 and below. Kills come much easier and games tend to be faster due to smaller maps, and when I die it's ESC and right into the next ship, luckily I got enough ships for that. Was planning to see how Zuiho is anyway (just checked - playing that for a couple of games with even mediocre success will give me progress in 11 missions, including that 100k damage mission that starts monday). Tiers 8-10 are much more suited for XP gain though, and I'll try for that 2500 base XP mission with both Zao and Baltimore, though I think Zao has a much better chances to pull it off. We will see, how far I can get. Personal goal are Katori and Smith, but if I do somehow manage to get the full 1000 diamonds, I'll add Tachibana and some flags to it <question erased, found the answer>

It wasn't even said anywhere that there is one ship as a prize. Who knows, maybe there are several to choose from, costing different amounts of diamonds? There certainly are enough candidates for this. Mikasa, Campbeltown, that Indianapolis people were talking about, Profintern or whatever its name was... They all could end up on the prize list for all we know at this time.

Not all, but many BBs have been cowards since the early days of CBT with no interruption whatsoever, regardless of CVs or no CVs, DDs or no DDs and whatnot, because all they see is that they can shoot (but fail so see they can't hit) at a far distance and not be shot back

Now I can set Flamu in his Shimakaze on the list as well, but he wasn't streaming. He got a bit annoyed by his teams top tier BBs covering the carriers

Klar funktioniert ein DD-Captain am besten auf einem anderen DD, aber mal ganz ehrlich: Die ItchyScratchy ist Tier 4, auf dem Level machen die Kapitaensskills jetzt auch nicht die Welt aus, das Spiel kann man auch gut abschliessen, wenn man die Skills nicht hat - viele andere im Match haben sie ja auch nicht oder nur in sehr begrenzter Form

Man soll Entscheidungen treffen je nach seinem eigenen Spielstil und eben nicht alles gleichzeitig haben koennen. Das ist so gewollt, damit es auch Abwechslung gibt

As a (sometimes too) aggressive DD-player I very much welcome these changes. 20km torps always seemed boring to me, and the long travel time means foe me just a too big risk of target evading and me wasting too much time with the reload. Time to grind cash so I can get the Kagero and after that an agressive little shimmycat to torp people with just outside of spotting range

First, welcome from me as well to WoWS. There has been said a lot about carriers and how to counter them, but let me leave a different kind of advice: Check out the newcomer section in this forum and read the guides stickied there. I know, it is a lot and part of it is just boring, but the game and its mechanics are much deeper than they appear at first glance, and they will help you a lot. Also, when a particular ship line interests you, there is a lot of good information in the ship section under Game Guides

Wie man an der Izumo sieht, hat das alles seine Vor- und Nachteile. Ich wuerde mit einem definitiven Urteil warten, bis sie zumindest auf dem Testserver sind, und bis dahin fliesst noch viel Wasser den Rhein runter. Prinzipiell hast du aber recht, dass sie mit solchen Voraussetzungen sehr gut ins derzeitige Meta passen.

Desintalled at first coffee this morning, started clean install before walking the dog, finished during second coffee, just before going to work. Couldn't test it though.
