Yes, they are angry, or at least disappointed. I know I am. However, that doesn't change the fact that people need to calm down in so far that they need to stick to the forum rules, otherwise this won't go anywhere except the scrapyard. So please everyone, stop with posting about moderation and stick to the topic at hand

Well, it is right around the corner basically and it is more a European thing than Black Friday, but if last year is any indication it's just going to be whale hunting with 100EUR packages. The thing however is, if we get some special offers then, the other servers will as well. Not that I really mind them getting anything, but this is about: they get something when we get something, but we don't get anything when they do.

Yupp, it's not a EU thing. It is however very big in Chile, Kazakhstan and Cambodia, that's why everyone else gets something special

Heh yeah. Friday is usually the day where those weekly bundles are published (which have a debatable usefulness anyway) - and I don't even see those.

You forgot another reason for the decision, at least from what I heard: archive access and ability to get needed information to make the ships for the game.

Income is to a large degree related to damage you cause (and to what type and tier of ships relative to your own). From what I see, there is some room for improvement, which would ease your credit losses, but overal it is intended so it is very hard to make a profit in the high tiers

Nobody knows, and those that do know won't tell before Friday morning, when it's announced on the portal. I guess all we can do is wait and see, though it's just 2 days, whatever it is, waiting just a little more won't harm anyone.

Kann mich noch gut erinnern an die vielen Nachfragen zu Beginn der CBT nach genau so einer Karte, und WG hat sich dann breitschlagen lassen, sie zu Testzwecken einzufuehren. Meistens macht sie mir nichts aus, sie fordert hat anderes Verhalten als die anderen Karten und man muss gut ueberlegen, was man tut, denn Deckung gibt es nirgendwo. Ich fluch nur ein bisschen, wenn ich in einem Ami-DD unterwegs bin, die eben ohne diese Deckung leicher Probleme kriegen als andere.

Wenn ich die Zahlen nehme und dann mal Tier fuer Tier vergleiche mit anderen Schiffsklassen, dann fallen mir eigentlich nur drei relative Ausreisser nach oben hin auf, und das sind die Taiho, die Essex und die Midway. Alles andere bewegt sich in einem gewissen Rahmen im Bereich der anderen Schiffsklassen desselben Tiers, zumindest auf den ersten Blick. Was wohl auffaellt, ist mal wieder die Schwaeche von DDs, die durch die Bank ab mittleren Tiers die niedrigste Damage haben. Bin gespannt, was da noch so alles passiert.

I didn't shout at them regarding the things you proposed. Main reason is that I don't agree (and the option to play without carriers has come up, more than once). In my opinion you totally underestimate the effect it would have to split up the player base more and more through options like that. It might work at prime time without too much delay, but for 20 out of 24 hours the day has it wouldn't. And not just for those enabling certain options, but for everyone. Over submarines... let's not even go there, that horse has been beaten to death a thousand times over.

What makes you think no tester has ever suggested anything like that? The submarine stuff has been discussed to death a thousand times since start of CBT. Probably before that already, but anything from Alpha testing is still under NDA. I pre-typed my last CBT feedback in word and it was four pages long, with positives and negatives, from game modes to class balances and so on. It's great that you try to use testers of any kind as scapegoats, but fail to consider two very important things: 1) that they might just disagree with you and wouldn't suggest stuff they don't seem useful and 2) that suggesting stuff as tester doesn't mean WG will listen or care to that feedback. Testers are only testing whatever WG provides, nothing more, nothing less. What WG does with the feedback and test results is entirely their own decision

Don't get your hopes up too much, that the "improvements" you want to see will come at any time. You might as well quit now, before you invest too much time and energy into this game and spare yourself from lots of future frustration.

The screen not following the ship was a bug I had back in CBT once. Seems to be quite rare, as I don't recall anyone else ever talking about having experienced this. The problem is, if the bug is so rare the information on it are limited and make it harder to reproduce. And from what I know, finding the fix to a bug without being able to reproduce it first is incredibly hard.

Ich hab mich an CVs versucht, die Tier 4er durchgespielt und konnte am Ende nicht abwarten, sie zu verkaufen. Tja, und mit den Nachrichten ueber das, was da in 0.5.2 kommt, bereu ich die Entscheidung nun wirklich nicht, ich seh keinen Grund, die jemals wieder anzufassen. Kein Problem fuer mich persoenlich, fuers Spiel im Ganzen find ich es aber problematisch, wie die CVs weiter in Grund und Boden generft werden.

Ich wuerds dir anbieten, aber ich spiel nicht so regelmaessig wegen meiner Schichten. Davon abgesehen, so unterirdisch find ich deine Stats nichtmal. Durchschnitt, nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Wenn du mich mal online siehst, kannst ja mal schreiben, vielleicht kriegen wir was hin.

Das, finde ich, ist der Schluessel zum Ganzen: erstmal schauen, was man selbst besser haette machen koennen, bevor man die Schuld bei anderen sucht. Und selbst wenn einige im eigenen Team ihren Teil nicht tragen - wenn ich es nicht schaffe, das dann auszugleichen, dann hab ich immer noch eine Mitschuld an der Niederlage.
