By his own admission Jingles is only a normal player and therein lies his greatest strength, the above mentioned players are superb at this game and so after a while a new player watching them could think " I am never going to be able to cut it in this game" . Watching a couple of Jingles games can bring a smile back to their face and the truth that most people are pretty bang average on here( me included).

I like that the OP is requesting a shared team experience and not just noob bashing, by his own admission the games get more " boring " the higher you go then MORE average players are required to break up the old and bold camping scenarios.

So when you have just had your fifth straight defeat, RNG is killing you and nothing is going right which ship do you grab for hoping to change the status quo? My lifesaver is the Arizona with its accurate guns, thick armour to keep me alive when I shouldn't be, twists away from nasty things and slow enough that I don't get carried away charging in.This is nothing to do with stats just a gut feeling that it will get me a win a last.

Just served my first pink metamorphism but deserved it, the Campbletown torps travel a long way at tier three but it was no problem doing time, it's not unusual these more stringent days to have a pinko in your team , before then you were avoided like the plague!

Every single person on this forum has been in your position, just enjoy it and after plenty of practice things just start to come together. Lots of great people on this forum only to eager to help but the occasional idiot on here and more so on the game chat will belittle you, just ignore them and their hot air.

I thought I would have a nice lunchtime session and try out the new patch but was surprised by a chat tirade calling me all sorts of names and abuse, roughly aimed at me being a coward and not fighting. Ironically at this moment I was capping after sinking my second ship and earning the close quarter badge, whilst using my last repair module after so much damage. I brought to his attention that a 19 knot Arizona takes a long time to get anywhere but this just brought another torrent of abuse and then realised it was that time of the year when the weekend lasts all week.Boooo.

Goodness me that is a long winded way of showing how superior you are with your kingly view, but you could not be more wrong. My just below 25% hit rate is because I can't shoot for crapin this game so I have too get closer not farther away. Ironically in real life I am an expert in shooting big guns as a tank gunnery instructor in the British Army.And talking of statistics and how they tell a tale obviously you are brilliant and everything but somehow I have over 30% more kills with my secondaries than you, camping indeed!

I understand your query but it is just a game, if it was in any way lifelike we would be hitting targets with 2-3 shots out of a hundred! On a side note it is not just the pitch and toss of the ship but other variables such as movements of target in relation to yourself, weather, barrel wear and droop and many many other imponderables which if they try to factor in would just take all the fun out of a great game.

That's really unlucky mate, not seen a TK in action for a long time ( gone and jinxed that!).

Pensacola . Tried, really tried but realised I had 18 other ships I would rather sail so sold it and give up with the US CA line.New York was another I just could not get to work and I was terrible in it. Ironically I love the Texas!

Possibly but I have never had premium but do buy ships the last a very recent Arizona, however I was given the 7 days free after a particularly ( by my standards) good game.

T6 is the place to be for different BBs, unlike some people remarking comments like " they SUCK" I actually own both ships which makes my option far more pertinent. At this moment I would say the Arizona is just slightly superior to the rest of the tier 6 BBs , 12 guns , very accurate under 15 km, slow but is usually on small maps and the armour is something else, in my last game it took 211 hits to take me down, from 16 inch to point blank 5 inch.

Basically a NM with lovely paint job. After a few games it feels a bit tougher and its hits a bit harder but it's no OP easy ride. Was it worth the money? Probably not but it's fun and a doughty fighter.
