Ok like it or not, subs are here, whether they remain here is totally up to WG, now I am on the fence regarding subs but all the 'hoo ha' aside, what are your tactics in the subs, I admit I am still potato'ing like a boss in them but in my last game I did bag a me a sub kill, underwater, to say I was surprised just might be a an understatement How do you play yours (this to the people who do take part in this live test/experiment) how best to utilise these subs?

The other day I was on the surface and a DD rammed me, he exploded, I though it was me at first, sort of laughable, not sure if it was a bot or a proper player, I find the homing thing to be very hit and miss.

Work in progress indeed, looking at the sub models I wonder when they will become premium boats if that will ever be a thing? I was told, fire the torps fist, then do the ping thing, hit and run it was described at but the subs are slow so not much running, also surfacing in front of a DD torp and dive, not mastered that one yet, lol

MTB's and E boats? Maybe a tier 11 for modern naval warships.

Thanks but no thanks, last time I tried this installation it screwed up the game so bad the entire game had to be re installed, I run clean vanilla now, unlike WoT's where their mod hub you can pick and choose what modpacks you like.

They are certainly a challenge, not easy to play at all, got a love hate relationship going on at the moment with them, The Iconic U boat, is the worst of them I lean towards the Cachelot over the S1

Nothing wrong with what he is doing, CV's at other tiers are stressful, Hosho got a nerf a while back, (she now needs a buff) still hands down the best CV at tier 4, I would rather play her than any Tier 8 or 10 CV where there is only you and everyone but everyone wants you here there and everywhere, and then cry when you sink nothing. in fact at anything above tier 4 I just damage and harass ships, so tier 4 is my sweet spot really. If you don't already have the Hosho, get it, Hosho is love, Hosho is life, and historically I believe she was the fist purpose built aircraft carrier, please correct me if I am wrong on that one.

It took a long time for to love her, but love her i do now, that and my beloved Nelson, I would rather take them two out over my Scharnhorst anyday.

Well so far managed a bit of damage once and then torpedoed a friendly DD, tbh, I cannot make them work, think i am done now but like it or not they will come to the standard randoms, and I think that just might be it for me. Do you or can you only torp on the surface because I cannot torp underwater, no matter how many times I ping a ship. That said, the modelling of the subs themselves is second to none, shame the most iconic type the U Boat, is the worst of them.

Have you tried them, never let this guy form your opinions, although WG might listen to him and nerf them

So had my first few games if you can call them that and the first impressions, simply way to hard to play, only one time did I do any damage. I find I get disorientated, surface get wrecked, underwater, very little effect, so much hype and so much more disappointment., ah well at least we get the coal.

^^^THIS^^^ Beggars belief that you cannot go in a training room or co op with these things to get the hang of them, so instead your thrown into the mode being expected to know what to do, that at least nee some rethink.

Well i have just got my three this morning, so yes I will be the potato sub player when I try them out, looking forward to it but not expecting too much, my alt gets his tomorrow, happy days

Well just logged in, actually got the Armoury, and no sub til tomorrow, lol, so it is working again

Yes, No, who cares? WG certainly don't, don't you just wish they would actually listen to us guys, but nope, Subs are coming, the yare here, but right now the ones who don't have them cannot get into the armoury to see if they have got lucky this morning. Upside of subs, might be interesting new thing if ever I get my hands on one but I suspect I will suck bad like I do in everything else, or........ Players will leave the game for good or Tiers 1 to 4 will become infested with seal clubbers
