How would you rate them alongside the Salem? Which in effect is a worse Des Moines although both were actual real Ships, not sure about the other two.

No idea, but my mates go to DD is the Isokaze, personally I think her guns reload is a bit long, however he is yet to discover the delight of the their 4 German DD, he already loves the tier 2 and 3 ones, I feel dirty for corrupting his soul like this and very ashamed that even as a brand new player, he is way better than me at DD's, I may have to be keel hauled for my shame

More likely because of that little whiner Flamu, whose vid of him destroying a a fellow unicom, led to the nerf almost as soon as that video went up online, I hold him directly responsible for the nerf, trouble is people do want the OP ships, how many would really like the Kamikaze R, Kitikami, Kutuzov of Belfast back ,or the Big E for that matter ,but it is what it is, I am enjoying her in co op, randoms might be something else though.

Now I am no expert, (ask anyone they will tell you the same) But I would say the Hosho is one major gem, (the only tier 4 CV you need) one of many in fact Any of the German DD's from tier two upwards, the tier 4 Shenyang from the Chinese corner The Orion, Myogi Wyoming and Kaiser all seem to be solid ships, Cruiser wise, Svietlana and Emden are quite good. There are the guidelines I am instructing my real life clan mate who is a total newbie to the game, and also already way better than I in a DD, lol Just the humble opinion of an average potato swimming in tomato juice, they tell me it is healthy you see

I have yet to really come to grips with her in co op but wish I have watched Denarmo's vid about her before I just rushed and got her with all my fxp, time will tell. I reallt do think she was nerfed secondary wise right after Flamus vid where he took on Yuro, and wholeheartedly blame him for the nerf, from what I can gather she is not the ship the community was wanting.

Everyone seems to say AA is not what it used to be, but no matter how I jiggles and wiggle slow down, speed up, AA wipes out my planes ,so AA is still quite potent I think, certainly tier 8 and upwards DD's do not even bother to turn off their AA anymore.

I think there should be a to map block like there is in WoT's, and this particular one i detest with all my heart and soul.

My stats are unabashedly bad, it is impressive how consistently bad they are I ought to remove myself from the game, and go play Tetris, (although the Tetris players sent me here) Am I in trouble now for stat shaming myself?

Nope I have not experienced any rudeness, but still having major problems withe the homing signal not getting picked up by the torps.

I will be interested in what WG have to say about the success of this event, what feedback they get back from the playerbase, which no doubt they will ignore

Damn so that where I go wrong I think this ship is a 'Marmite' on you either like it or you don't, much like the Hype 59 in WoT's it is well rated, almost over rated, overall a good ship, and if you are in a full division of them, oh boy the game can be hilarious, same goes for the other secondary monster the Tirpitz. All comes down to the player really, it is a player who makes a ship OP, but if you are the uber king of potatoes like me, well.... Oh and I can sometimes hit and sink ships too, I have her on my alt aswell and I remember sinking a forumite, just for got who it was but that was many weeks ago

Kutuzov was a good ship removed from the game Irian is a lesser version of it, and the Le terrible does not have smoke, does have some fast speed though.

Flamu seems to like the Bayard, but as Lafeel say, Mainz too would also be a contender, i don't have either so cannot really comment on what they are like. BB wise, Massachusetts or Tirpitz for their good secondaries, DD wise, USS Kidd, Loyang or the the HFS HAREKAZE if it were ever to come in the shop again.

Got to love this thread, from a crap Brit CV to hedgehogs, out of the two the hedgehogs win To the OP, I think the tech tree Brit CV is by far a better ship, (but that is only my very humble opinion) at least she has torps, a CV without torps, is a bit like the Yamato without her main guns, rather pointless.

Oh dear, good luck if you can get that thing to work, sold mine in disgust, as I did the Ar too, that said after watching Searaptors video of the Kutovsky at t5, i went ahead and unlocked it, only to find it does not have the 8 KM torps which were mentioned in his video, leaves me with a great sense of foreboding over a cruiser line that might have been interesting, egg and face spring to mind,but I wish you well in your Cv adventures.
