Because Torps are the stand off weapon, they sure as hell need a buff, well all the DD players will be happy, CV's have died a death.

But it feels so nice

Trouble is you now get grumpy potatoes who think your CV is a BB,as for ranked people are fed up of getting their squadrons eaten alive by AA, so the leave their CV's parked up.

Probably because when you go hunting DD's in your cruiser, you eat a crap load of torps before you even get a few salvo's off, as for CV's they have been smacked withe nerf hammer whilst AA which has not eats your planes alive, think I will go in game soon a relearn, or just learn DD's PS I'm sure I saw you in a game.

Biggest thing now on the GZ and on most CV's are the tops,and right across the board, they need a huge buff, out of all my CV's the big E and the GZ are my go to ones,sometimes I go out in the Saipan or the Lexington, the latter being the better, as for the Jap CV's Ryujo and Kaga are the best, and the Brits, omg why bother? In fact the Furious is good in ops. Torps man, we all need better torps. In fact the purpose of me mentioning all of that is to highlight that as bad as the GZ is now,it is way better than anything the RN CV's have.

Well I guess the good thing is with these rental's they have stopped my xp march, I have note reached a crossroads, more of a roundabout and i have no idea which way to go my next tier X BB would be the Kurnfurst, yet read on here that she is one of the worst tier BB's, why is this apart from the abysmal 20.blob gun range, I do see an awful lot of these in all battle's tier 7 upwards. The next line I am grinding or was was the Japanese BB line, yet the Yamato for some reason to me seems to be over hyped, even though I have seen people rave about her. I know I could try bot the the Kurnfurst and the Conqueror (someone told me the conq has a 30 KM gun range, not sure it it is true or he was talking BS) but the flaming you get in chat if you dare enter in a rental means I stick to my Monty and Republique,I take no other tier X ship out, Mino and Wooster are just one salvo port queens, and the Haragumo is a co op monster only, tier X CV's, well, the leave me speechless, again co op take outs.

Yeah we get it, now as I have enjoyed my time in ranked, time to take my CV's out in he tier 8 weekend warrior morass.

I rented the Yamato, put my Mushashi captain in it, not really fussed by it even though I am grinding my way towards it?

With all these nerfs to CV's I see it as theft by deception.

I did all of my CV's in ranked, sort of pointless with the amount of AA, So stuck with the Republique and Monty, got the rental Yamato, but for some reason it don't float my boat, maybe it is because it is a rental. So the up short is .. BB's are cool. CV's crap Cruisers and my one DD I dare not take out due to the possibility of dying in the first 5 minutes

You realise this is a game right? Realism takes a back seat, how would a real life DD take out a BB, torps in the old days, anti ship missiles in the modern era.

You can actually do that? So how do you actually do it,just been in game now and whilst it tell me 1 steel = 10 coal, gives no indication of how to do the conversion.
