Wow, you sound like a certain someone from WoT's, I forget who now, tier X is the end game,and as I have so many day premium I am not going anywhere, but thank you for your thoughts, just because I have the tier X does not mean I always play them. By team mates you mean those that cut and run and don't push,or cap when they can, yeah those team mate I couldn't give a stuff about, however I will support those that do.

I'm not, but then you get confronted with tier X rental ships for ranked battles, what would your advice be to new players? Why is there an option even for players of below average to take part in something such as this, and yes I do include myself, who will at some point go in just to see what it is like. As a self confessed potato, I thing WG messed up somewhat here.

When it comes to AP you hear moans of shatters over pens and ricochets, so why not spam HE, just think your in Brit BB even though your not.

I personally thing the Kaga and Saipan are in the wrong tier, should be 7 like thy used to be, but WG in their wisdom think they know best, too weak for tier I think.

Trouble is I have no friends who would be bothered with this game, friends I already have are already in the game.

When playing the CV, pick any for your choice, and people ask for AA support, does that mean you drop a fighter squad over them or are they asking nearby ships to help out? Dumbest of the dumb questions I know but last night I was trying and well tbh failing to support a DD in ranked and got roundly flamed for it, any helpful advice would be welcome. Many thanks.

Must be some very good players playing this Colbert thing, I shudder everytime I take my Mino or Worcester out, so fragile one salvo and they are gone, only occasionally take them out in co op or sometimes when my clan mates insist on a tier X game, everytime I even get behind an island, once there you cannot move as when you show yourself, instant deletion. As a class of ships Cruisers are the worst, again at tier & Atlanta, same problem, hug rocks don't/can't move, sail out in the open, instant deletion.

One thing WG could do to buffs CV's is give them all GZ levels of secondary guns, that would be fun, how I wish I had those gins on my Lexi or big E.

Sorry I have to disagree there, so many times when team loses a cap, and are in full retreat, I find myself being chased down by DD's, it is not uncommon nowadays beginning to think of the advice our clan CV man gave, sit on the back line until you see which way the battle is going, and then, and only then move your CV, I don't like it but it does make good sense.

Now this is the thing I am finding when it comes to spotting DD's, it turns out your attack aircraft are more often than not directly above them, so you turn around and and search for them only for them to vanish again, by the time your fighters have arrived, the DD has moved away.

Had two separate game where I met Saltface on my team, I'm sure he did very well as opposed to me not doing so well in my CV's, in fact my CV games were so bad I went and played other classes, doing equally as bad, at least he had the decency not to be salty towards me, lol

Lol yes you did but I have been asleep since then, ranked or randoms nor the pure hatred of CV's by DD players shows out, where you get flamed even if you do try to help, getting quite a bit dis inclined to actually help DD's which is not how it should be at all but I understand you reasoning.
