Ok fair enough but one being premium and one being tech tree is there no difference at all? The KGV and the DoY are just a tad different if I remember rightly, maybe WG could introduce the Rodney as premium with a spotter plane, but now I am just dreaming, lol

I have just unlocked the Amagi, does she have in any way better guns, being the tech tre version of the Kii?

I thought the Wooster was a pretty tough cookie against planes too, maybe I am wrong?

I have every CV in the game, even got shot of one, they never made me finally good at the game, lol, in fact the CV nerfs have backfired now as I like playing other class's more, maybe I ought to sell them all or credits, lol

Would be nice if the Missouri popped out of those containers, oh wait got to wait another 6 months for that, lol

Sorry to quote such a long post and it is interesting but here ia a question , is XVM used in this game like it is in WoT's? The reason I ask is that once I did have a few games (In tanks) platooned with a guy who was super unicom level, or so it seems to me, there we were chatting on TS anh made one very interesting point, he told me that at one point used to really care about his stats, BUT, withe advent of XVM, he found that he was targeted more often, does this happen in this game?

Those 200 mph planes will often over shoot you, the amount of times I have seen DD's firing their AA in smoke is beyond belief, do not do it,turn your AA off you are a spotter for your fleet, let the bigger AA ships deal with the planes, put the mos on your DD's that make them wiggle and turn on a dime, (if in open water, hug rock if in caps) those two tricks will make it hard for a CV to spot and track you, they may do it in the end but in doing so they are not targeting your team mates, whilst the CV player will be getting screamed at in chat b his own team for not being where everyone else wants him to be. Of course you do not have do anything I have mentioned as I am the self confessed king of potatoes, your choice,but it helps me when I sometimes take one of my DD's.

You want to divi up with me dude in cruisers, any time, I will be your willing student, oddly enough one of my fave low tier cruiser is he Svetliana, but even in my early games way back when i usually ended up in a broadside duels with other ships total wrong way to play I know but hell it was fun. Time to re visit the lower tier again, they certainly are fun

AA works very well, you turn left , right slow down, speed up, makes no difference, your planes are shredded, thinking of selling a few for credits, lol, that should make the OP very very happy I fail at everything else including CV's

I stopped playing them in ranked,they are useless,too much AA, in fact CV's are nowhere near OP enough, one torp drop should sink your ship, until then they are weak.

I sold the Shocking, as it did not have the torp drops of the Kaga as for the tier X CV's i find then rather pointless, torp drop on he Midway far too wide, he Haku i cannot make work at all, and the Atrocious is what the tier 8 Brit CV should be. Implacable is but a joke, if I get more than 30 k damage I am lucky, bomb drops are far too slow, and torps across the aboard need a huge humongous buff, one salvo on any CV should be able to sink a Cruiser or BB in one go, two at the most.

Ha ha, neither is mine, in fact it resembles a ducks arse more lately. If you like the Saipan, you WILL love the big E, and don't forget to grind the Lexington too.

Talking of mods I use the modstation thing, and it does help brighten some things up especially shallows around the islands, I think it looks pretty cool

Get the big E now, and see the difference, Saipan is a tier 7 CV moved up a tier and to me it shows very starkly, talk to El2aZer about the big E, mid you he would make a sweeping brush OP.

This is true, big E and Lexington are second to none, Saipan meh GZ pointless kaga,sometimes OK, anything British, trash, i forgot earlier though to take out my Furious, so maybe tomorrow now.

I have all the ships in question so no idea what to do with it, same as this invite a friend, lol you would have to be pretty unfriendly to invite someone to this madness, I don't have any that are foolish enough.

The high tiers is where the best stuff is atand to be honest one or two games now where you take a tier 6 out an get up-tiered by MM, most new players would say screw this, Say if the Normandie had the awseome secondaries of the Alsace, or Republique, they might want to stick at lower tiers, but anybody and everybody will go on about how the mino rocks, the awesome ROF etc etc, same with Haragumo, Wooster, the torp walls of the Shima, people see this on YouTube and think, i so want that, so waht can you do, just do the grind. Sure I have had my fill of gaming today, but if I went in a tier 6 match or a tier 7 one, one or two games in my Warspite or Nelson, and that would be my lot, if the MM was all one tier, good it isn't, so not so good.

Cruisers are all well and good but they do not work for me, having said that I had a couple of good games on the Mino and wooster earlier in ranked,CV' in their are not my thing, almost to the point of rage selling the Atrocious, mind that is was in one random full of map pingers, when it gets to me like that I just autopilot into the red zone. Lower tier cruisers 7 and 8, instant blap, (well most cruisers actually, not far off with DD's too) these ship i find I must be in a division with someone to make them work, and even then they usually don't. You cannot, simply cannot expect everyone to do wel in every ship. BB's may suit some better than others. CV's unless your of El2aZers, standard, they are pretty useless, especially the RN ones, and now the infamous GZ, if playing CV's now it is almost as if I have to turn chat off more so to keep me getting a chat ban.

Just imagine if the Belfast hard torps too, fallowed by the Lazo having a heal, maybe then they would really qualify for OP'ness

I often find in the few bawls i get into usually more to do with tomato play than pro play that ships of apptypes can get close, and that is when the Massa shines, well in my case briefly before she sinks, always fun though, I wish the Iowa had secondaries like those.
