  1. Well, I got 1st BPass as Premium - because there was Tokachi. 2nd BPas had nothing I was interested in, it went for free. 3rd BPas is same situation for me as the 2nd. Nebraska is early access ship and is not worth spending doubloons. But I do understand people who get that Prem BP - I would get it if I were in need of coal/steel.

    Seems mode "Airship Escort" has been added to Scrapyard challenge "earn base exp". Ok - maybe you do not like PvP but it may keep you from going insane :)

    I do wonder if you have ever tried to find any data about the ships historical guns and ammo? I bet you did not. At last WG had quite well reproduced reality. What is (IMO) only problem is that lighter Spanish equivalent of British 8" (20.3 cm) Mark VIII had also HE (116.12 kg) available and real Canarias had them. I am far, far away from being ethusiast of many WG ideas about SF ships, but at that case it is only history based decision.

    I always wonder what is in the "minds" of people who got prem ships - same as "the tree" ships - for free. Sorry, I do not get it... This ship is AKATSUKI: DO YOU realy have no idea how to play IJN DDs at that level? OMFG ... I knew playerbase went below surface, but I did not expect it has gone so deep :(

    True, but it works both ways . Anyway - I am done with all the missions for scrapyard challenge and have Didi & Cacnarias at the port, I can do whatever I want ... I have only 2 CVs T6, and my only ambition is to get IJN T10. But As I am totally not interested in learning CV gameplay I think it will never happen :)
  10. (Prawie) dokładnie tak (naprowadzane kablem lub po przerwaniu kabla akustycznie ) - Torped 613. Polska obecnie również ma je na stanie - były uzbrojeniem OP typu Kobben. Ostatnie dwa - Bielik i Sęp wycofano w 2021, ale uzbrojenie jeszcze zostało. Poniżej zdjęcie z ładowania Torped 613 na ORP Sokół z 2013 (autorstwa mojego kolegi).

    :) IMO the reason is quite simple: vast majoriy of subs players have no idea how to use them :) When there was a Wolfpack operation available you could clearly see that most people had an attitude: 4xW, dive, ping, shot, die. And same is now in coops. To be honest: I treat CVs same way :) Not my playstyle, I do not like them. By the way - I do play CVs & subs only in coops. I know using CV in operations would improve XP farming but I do not want to ruin other players fun.

    Well, I think you are both wrong. Yes - 2 maps have as enemies 1xT10 ship. Knowing WG - if it would be T9-T10 ops (I would not include T11 at all) ALL your enemies would be at least T10 - T 11. Current playerbase have difficulty in using their standard T6-T8 ships in the game. They are murdered in AEGIS as they have no idea when to use AP, how to use armour or even torps effectively. They simply have no idea about basic game mechanics. T10 is not such easy. Of course you both are aware of connection between the distance and the penetration - I hope. But most of casual PvE players do not :) It is as simple as it is - take Yamato into training room and check what that ship ranges mean. And imagine that you have a bunch of BOT Satsumas & Edgars focusing you in Aegis - only in the first wave. And then comes the second wave of Satsumas & Condes :D Better reconsider what are you asking for - because you may get it :)

    Well... you can also forget about using BBs in coops :) Cruisers, destroyers or subs will always manage to do sth. Especially subs require almost no skill at all to perform.

    When hearing that my Ragnar/Tromp/Alvaro/Marceau/Groningen/Friesland/Hayate/Harugumo/Shimakaze/Vampire always say: "Oh really? Hold my bear and watch..." I am also a "pyromaniac cruiser abuser" like you , but when it comes to simpe dealing dmg in a quick way - DDs lead the way. Sorry guys - reality bites. Up to the moment when "scrapyard marathon" ends DDs will swarm coops. It has always been an issue and is nothing new. WG will not change it as they do not care much about coops.

    Maybe check the armament? Dido has 5.25"/50 (13.4 cm) QF Mark I and these guns had SAP, HE and anti-radar shells. History bites :P
  18. Wait for the last "Scrapyard challenge" missions set - to finish the whole run one needs to score 37.5k base exp. And it can be done in PvP or only coops (operations excluded). As all know coops do not bring much exp ... There are many PvE players who will stay with coops to get the job done, but also there will be more of those who do not care

    OK - I see your point. Anyway - seems that you get 2k of steel for finishing 29th lvl of drydock. That means you do not have to gain that 37,5k base exp to get the final reward - as you have the Schroder :)

    Not a single operation has been designed for monsters with such huge ranges like f.ex T10. Try to imagine how AEGIS would look like when 2nd wave of enemies comming from NW would be constructed with bunch of ZAOs and 2 Yamatos... and you are sitting in T8 (WG would keep 2 tier spread in the way we know today) and they focus on YOU - and they are out of your reach. Do you remember what happened when WG implemented old ops and gave possibility for playing them in T6-8? One big complain cry . I might be wrong, but I expect adding T9-10 to ops would not only damage that game mode. It would simply destroy it. Novadays many people treat ops just like a coop that brings more exp and are not even trying to win . If ops would give a chance for grinding T9s ...

    Seems, in order not to go insane, you will have to play randoms or brawls. IMO there is no other option. Simply trying to get that base exp in coops would mean approx 100-130 games. You can always pay 1750 dublons for the last stage ...

    Sorry to say, but in reality all of 16 Dido class CLs were named after some legendary persons. In that case Dido stands for the name of mythological founder and first queen of Carthage. She was also known as Elissa . Anyway - I took Canarias first, now it is time for another famous one.
  25. @Admiral_H_Nelson I think I see your point. I started to loose "the skill" after a few brakes I had with the game. Then I found ops interesting but ... after last few months I see it is not for my temper (both operations and coops) :) I also do feel too often annoyed and bored with the game, and current events. Anyway, WoWs was an extension of my interests in ships, naval history, warfare and sailing. Seems I will take another long brake to check if it still is. It was nice to read your posts (ususally ). Bravo Zulu and see you.
