    colorado - just why ?>

It seems to be generally hated ship. Just why devs put such a ship in game where most players consider it a downgrade from new mexico. For me personally it might be a game breaker (considering ending wow altogether) for me as i dont want to play 150k xp in ship i and many others consider to be simply bad.

    omaha vs cleveland

What do you think now with clevelands ridiculous shell velocity is a better ship in general ? ( i mean not on it's tier, but toe to toe, same tier oponents). I prefer Omaha as i can hit more than with cruiser, its faster and more manueverable and torps are a plus.

    Cleveland shell velocity

Ok i think Cleveland was quite strong before velocity change ( but when i think about it, omaha had a little less firepower, massive manueverability advantage, torpedoes, and that thing that you can shoot right away when changing sides, so higher tier should be better in something), but why nerf a ship with mechanic that player can't control? - If someone is sailing somewhere and you fire full broadside, he simply needs to go elsewhere where he was originaly going to not get hit. Then you can spray an area a little to cover his possible choices, either way, in the end, it's a mechanic - XY% of your shells simply wont hit cause of shell velocity - they added randomness not controllable by player to the ship performance, adding more rng in any way is in my opinion always a bad choice for a game.

    omaha vs cleveland

well, you can get to 8-9 km in late game, when enemy team isn't moving in packs. In this range 1v1 clevelands dpm overrule everything else (Maybe BB get quite accurate at that range and some citadels are quite dangerous). But most of the game, situation is different - if you get early in that range, you are usually the only one and you get targeted by all enemy ships. Omaha has fewer guns, but more accurate (hit ratio wise due to normal velocity), you can engage on all ranges pretty effectively, you can dodge, they don't dodge you that much and you can get the hell out if they start focusing you. So because of this i think omaha is better overall, or more universal. In average i get much more hits in omaha as in cleveland, with same dmg guns, + torpedoes at really close range are a bonus which some can and some cant capitalize on.

    New mexico firing range

    1. 15km is plenty in most cases, further away you are not that effective in BB usually (except firing on other unaware BB which is not changing course) 2. You can get almost to 20km with battery mod and scout plane if you really want and hope for some lucky hits - same as IJN are capable in that range

    Cleveland shell velocity

I rushed to cleveland as i was reading everywhere how good it was. Loved saint luis, phoenix and the top was omaha ( once managed this http://s1.postimg.org/n7vemcuin/shot_15_07_12_09_51_00_0569.jpg ), but i wasn't using torps that much, so i thought Cleveland will be at least a switch to full guns. But the horrible gun arc and gun velocity makes it impossible to hit any situational aware cruiser from 10km+, further away even battleships can dodge some quite effectively. For now i don't see cleveland as an upgrade to omaha and my performance is seriously worse. Maybe it will improve when i get used to the arc more, but i doubt i will get to the avg performance i had i omaha so for now i am quite disappointed. I also hate the "nerf style" as they have basically added randomness with that shell velocity and arc, because player can aim perfectly, and have no control if a second player manages to move it's ship a little during that 15 sec fly time.

Aren't battleships kinda underpowered right now?

hmm in my (limited) experience and from what i read, cruisers can take much more than 120%hp dmg, even more than same tier BB120%hp by dodging in general (dodging, smaller target harder to hit, especially much much less torpedo hits or getting out of harms way in general) - so they basically have more effective HP, and they can dish out more DMG by salvo after salvo with higher DPM in general, better accuracy, faster cannon turning - thus applying dmg faster (in bs if you need to turn around, guns are turning 1min or so and you cant done nothing in that time), easier to aim, cause it's no problem to fire shot after shot until you get it right. - so still don't see where is BB better than cruiser (talking about artillery ones, torpedoes are something completely different) - so in most cases with seminotretarded captain, cruisers can take more dmg effort on them (more shots, torpedoes, planes are needed) and can dish out more dmg to enemies, so they are at the end better in both taking and dealing dmg, correct me if i am wrong. (still playing BBs, cause i simply like how they look, but i get almost always better results in cruisers, not to mentions it's usually much much more dynamic and fun, but as i said, please correct me if i am wrong and explain why and when BBs are preferable to cruisers, cause maybe i just unconsciously would like my favorite class to be better)

Aren't battleships kinda underpowered right now?

soo, i still don't see any situation where battleship is better than cruiser, maybe except surviving a little longer in crossfire, with steering stuff broken. It is better at taking damage - literally, larger slower target. Ofc you can have a great game in BB (as you can have in t1 vs t5, or anything that is seriously less good) if you look at paper, I have a hard time imagining situation where BB would be better over cruiser - except soaking dmg for a while. Please enlighten me with an example or situation, where bb is better.

Aren't battleships kinda underpowered right now?

soo, reading this topic, please correct me if i missed anything... BSc have larger range than CR, but are almost useless at those ranges, cause they cant hit almost anything there, so they need to come in Cruiser range to hit. While 1 shooting enemy doesn't happen a lot, alpha is not relevant and cruisers are more accurate, have higher dps, speed, maneuverability, smaller target, similar HP, armor does nothing, so on paper they are better at everything?? Where exactly BS shine to CR ?
