Nearly no one here would have as many issues with the rework if it was just about the grind. We get more points but still end up with less effective builds. That's what bothers players the most. By far. -

Yes, that's why I put it into quotation marks. I think they wanted to have a DPM increasing skill for the 4th row but didn't want it to be too effective so BFT had to die first. -
Base reload is 5,2 seconds by now iirc.

Sofern das wirklich passiert und nicht nur irgendwann in ferner Zukunft, wenn ihr genug Daten gesammelt habt, wäre es ja auch in Ordnung. Das Problem ist, dass niemand, der schon eine Weile dabei ist, euch das noch abnimmt. Inwiefern es WG überhaupt noch kümmert, werden wir ja in den nächsten Wochen sehen. -

To me it looks like the only reason to nerf BFT was so they could introduce a 'better' damage boosting skill for one point more. -

At least for DDs the problem could be easily solved by moving Last Stand to the first row like it was already done for cruisers. Then bring back BFT to 10% faster main battery reload and we could recreate the majority of builds that we used since the original skill rework although for one point more (20 total). This way the new rework would at least not feel like a total ripoff. -

IFHE is good when it takes your HE pen over enough armor thresholds to justify the high cost of 4 points. For DD calibers this only really applies to guns >120mm between T5 and T7 and then you need a dedicated captain for the ship. Only exception are the IJN gunboats and even there it lost a lot of value since the pen rule was set to 3/10 of caliber. For these ships the skill will get better in the future, though as the rework reduces its cost and you will be able to combine it with RPF by 'only' trading in PT, AR or whatever other 3-pointer you use.

Der Unterschied ist, dass meine Aussagen durch die Daten von WG selbst belegt sind, während Andere mit persönlicher Meinung gegen bewiesene Fakten argumentieren. Die "Vorschläge" hier ändern leider nichts an der mieserablen Situation. Für eine deutliche Verbesserung wäre ein Shitstorm notwendig gewesen, als diese Pläne bekannt geworden sind, denn das ist die einzige Reaktion, die WG versteht. Die Community hat das versäumt und muss jetzt mit den Konsequenzen leben, wie nach jedem Rework. Ab nächster Woche wird das auch bei den Spieler ankommen und dann werden wir hier jede Menge stinksaurer User erleben. -

Der ganze Seif hier. Gute/schlechte BBs gewinnen/verlieren Spiele genauso, wie gute oder schlechte DDs. Dass sie deutlich weniger Utility haben, ist der Tradeoff für höheres Schadenspotential. CVs funktionieren nicht nach diesem Prinzip, weshalb sie OP sind. Das ist allerdings nicht mal deren Hauptproblem. Ich weiß nicht, weshalb so viele Spieler den neuen 4 Punkte Skill für Zerstörer für gut halten, das ist er nämlich nicht, zumindest nicht für 4 Punkte, denn so passt er nicht in gute Builds. DDs verlieren schon ohne ihn durch den Commander Skill Rework entweder Feuerkraft oder Informationsgewinnung. Versucht man ihn dennoch mitzunehmen, fallen diese Verluste noch krasser aus. Schlechte DDs werden weiterhin in den ersten 5 Minuten des Gefechts sinken, alle Anderen nehmen lieber gute Skills. -

Ist halt echt witzig was manche Spieler hier für Ansichten vertreten. Da kann man sich fast schon vorstellen, warum das meiste Feedback im Schredder landet. -

Fassen wir mal zusammen. Die einzigen beiden Änderungen, abgesehen von der völlig sinnlosen und verwirrenden Umbenennung verschiedener Skills, die aus den beiden PTS Sessions hervorgegangen sind, waren Last Stand für Kreuzer und ein Ausgleichsbuff für die verringerte Genauigkeit der Sekundärbatterie deutscher BBs. Das ist sowas von enttäuschend! Was ist mit all den anderen Änderungen, die die Performance von Schiffen teilweise massiv beeinträchtigen? Dabei geht es sowohl um die Skills selbst, auch auch deren Position im Skill Tree, die es teilweise unmöglich machen, sie in der Weise zu kombinieren, die wir gewohnt sind und ich rede hier nicht mal von offensichtlichen (wenn auch fragwürdigen) Designentscheidungen, wie Kreuzern Brandschutz oder die Sekundärbatterieskills wegzunehmen. So wie ich das sehe, wurden daran einfach keine Gedanken verschwendet. Hinzu kommt noch, dass die neuen Skills offensichtlich von Leuten entworfen wurden, die keine Ahnung vom Spiel haben und so ist es auch kein Wunder, dass die alten Skills weiterhin die Besten sind, zumindest im Durchschnitt. Der Mülleimer fürs Feedback ist wieder gut voll, nicht wahr Wargaming? -
WG is now creating DDs that can keep up with the long-range meta they're forcing with the commander skill rework. Also, if you seriously think the improved pen angles will be anything like RN CLs you'll be up for one hell of a disappointment.

Are you kidding? The game already has issues dealing with 12 players per team. WG cannot even create a UI that responds in a timely manner.

Also a way to buff CV numbers. Give 'em more victims. These will be dead on arrival.

Deine aktuelle Erkennbarkeit ist egal. Es zählt nur, dass sich kein aufgedecktes gegnerisches Schiff innerhalb deiner Basiserkennbarkeit befindet. Funktionierte auf dem PTS perfekt. -

If you don't consider the ability to remove DDs from the battle at will broken, what do you consider broken then? Do you really think CVs are fine because the average player is bad? This combination is even worse because then you have a player who can ruin your game simply because of the class he plays. Which doesn't work against CVs as they aren't limited by maneuverabilty, speed, line of sight or engagement ranges. Turns out ships that rely on stealth don't do well against a class that nullifies concealment. -

Am I the only one who thinks these CV discussions are like talking to flat-earthers or anti-vaxxers? We know CVs are broken AF, Wargaming has tons of spreadsheets proving it. We have seen them, they told us and yet everytime the discussion crops up there's a few players saying 'oh, I don't think they're that unblanced, it's just an opinion after all'. No, it's not. It's not up for debate. Also nothing that's being said here will change anything. CVs outright breaking the game rules to make up for the lack of interesting gameplay worked out well for WG and they will do it again. -

You're not very useful in your DD when you sit behind an island. You don't need a DD to take a cap with a huge island in it. What you need is a spotter to see what's on the other side.
