    Having played both the CBT and now the OBT and enjoying it a lot there is one little thing which is like a thorn in my eyes. And those are the underpowered BBs. Lets sketch some cases. How often I play in my BB and one shot goes high and the other low (from the same turret) and completely misses the target. This is especially true in the Myogi since the lack of guns, with the USN it's more like throw enough crap against the wall and it eventually will stick. Also there is a case in which you do like 1k damage but the shell should've penned the citadel with AP (aimed at centre mass of the ship right beneath the smoke stacks). Which happens quite a lot, off course I do my occasional citadel pen with dangerous consequences for the enemy but this is more of a rarity than a common thing. In my eyes (and I hope the devs as well) BBs needs to be dangerous beasts who you need to look out for, but now I laugh every time I see a poor slow American BB or lumbering IJN BB which I'm going to torp when in DD or just spam HE at with my CLs (which does like 2-3k dmg every salvo excl fire dmg). Or another one is when getting torped right in the start of the game. I think CVs are less of a problem then arty is in WoT because CVs actually need skill when played correctly, but really?? BBs needs some love. So please WG In a short summary:- BB accuracy increased- AP penetration mechanics need to be improved on BBs especially. Let the BBs be the feared beasts again!
  2. Oh and don't forget submarine dive bombers But other than that, I don't think carriers are that unbalanced. Yes it sucks when you get torped, but I recently started the USN carrier line and I think they are just fine the way they are. It is just the more or less being powerless when getting torped, same as with arty in WoT only CV is more skill and actually a bit of multitasking. I think they should standardize manual aim in torp bombers to make it more skill dependent if you want to nerf them then do it this way...

    It was indeed switching back from torps to AP in which I pressed 1 instead of 2. I guess it's because I'm used to switch back to HE in DD, since I know this problem I pay some more attention were my finger lands and everything is fine

    So I'm sailing rather happily in my Furutaka (for as much you can call it a happy sail, that "thing" is really underpowered). And shooting my AP shells on enemy ships, well guess what happens.. Apparently I have HE shells in another language or something because out of nowhere it switches my AP shells to HE shell selection.. I noticed this only in my Furutaka for now, but maybe there are other ships as well. So if this would be fixed I would be a bit less frustrated grinding that horrible ship.

    Those videos are in USN BBs, these are "accurate" in the sense of throwing enough crap against the wall. And yes I did get 2-3 citadel penetration in one salvo for several occasions, but I think you should play BBs in long range fire at least not at the lower tiers and wait till a enemy ship (CL or BB) straightens out and shows a flat broadside if you fire your guns at that moment you'll most likely do a citadel pen. And try to target CLs primarily because thats what you're supposed to do in a BB. Now I'm at tier 5 with both BBs, Kongo is nice and the NY is good as well but slow.. However the change in closer short range dispersion I cannot emphasize that enough, that would be great because some of the shots I've taken at close range were more than 60% missed the target completely is just nonsense in my opinion. And please guys, DDs are not OP and should certainly not be nerfed more. If you sail in a straight line all the time and then cry because you just got nailed by a DD you just need to play this game better. Game I had in my Minekaze today (I use the closer range torps) I torped a NY from 6 km on full health and I was spotted, he even fired at me.. But he didn't even try to evade them, if he just turned I would've missed my entire salvo instead I killed him.

    I think the close range RNG should be a bit less of the charts. But long range accuracy is fine in my opinion. But if you do constant low roles in BB.. That's no fun either I think, for me the format what they have is fine. As for torps these f*ckers need to be dangerous as hell, they were that in RL too. So if it is made easier there is little skill involved with it, I really like the WG products because of their easy to learn hard to do well stuff . According to wiki (yes very reliable source I know). Ships from the WWI and II era were very inaccurate it was more like a case of shooting with a lot of guns on ships and it eventually will damage something. However, WG doesn't made their games to be realistic but more like a fun and arcady game. Sure there are a lot of realistic elements such are the armour penetration mechanics, certain physical aspects etc. But to make 19 out of 20 shells miss nah, I don't see that as a good idea. I already get frustrated in WoT when my Leopard 1 misses a fully aimed shot. Would this be the same case with ships I would probably break my keyboard in half, haha.

    This.. Let's hope that rumour will be true indeed. I'm not saying they aren't fun, but they should need some love because of the very RNG dependend nature. But as I hear it gets better the higher you get, which is especially the case with the IJN BBs I finally reached the Kongo and I see some proper damage numbers again. The Myogi however.. Let's not talk about that. If they just lower the dispersion a bit I will be a very happy BB driver with lower blood pressure ^^

    Public test 0.4.0 General Feedback

    Just received the update, I noticed a small detail which made me sad. Were are the dates of the hull modifications? I always liked to see from which time the ship is and now it is replaced with A, B or C.
