    Ok, nie zaglądałem dawno w modele T2-3 :) co do przebijania 16mm z IFHE to trochę jednak brakuje, po zaokrągleniu musiałoby dać 17mm. Sam ostatnio popełniłem podobny błąd w innej dyskusji (po wszelkich zaokrągleniach penetracja HE musi wyjść o 1mm wyższa niż próg który chcemy pokonać). Natomiast 12,6 zaokrągla się do 13 co daje 12mm penetracji co niestety nie wystarcza na 13mm pancerz. Tak więc IFHE na Tachi pomaga tylko z 13mm pancerzem.

    Hmm wydaje mi się że większość pancerza na t2-t3 to 6-10mm czyli IFHE nie jest tu potrzebny, może po prostu złudzenie od dawnego niegrania? :)

    Of course you are right in the current state of the game but WG has many balancing tools at their disposal, asymetrically restricted MM shouldn't be one of them. Buff the t2-4 if needed but keep in mind they should not be a fair match to tier 6 anyway. And yes, if I had to choose between keeping the +2/-1 and +1/-1 for all, I'd choose the latter

    +2/-2 MM is perfectly fine IMO, only the +2/-1 (T5-6) is a turd that needs to be addressed.

    Camo to życie :) Nawet Bismarcka przerobiłem z ręcznej pomocniczej na niewidkę, przy 14,7 spota i tak każdy kto zobaczy Bismarcka od razu wrzuca wsteczny a na skradanie się między wyspami i umiejętne wykorzystanie hydro jeszcze za cienki bolek jestem. Za to NC to potwór który radzi sobie dobrze w t10 a w t8 wręcz masakruje. Dobrze umiejscowiona na mapie jest jak bunkier. P-lot masakruje t8 i niższe ale bez ręcznego AA Taiho i Hakuryu zgwałcą cię już bez większych problemów tak więc trzeba to mieć na uwadze i na wyższych tierach trzymać się bliżej grupy żeby aury się nakładały.
  6. Having tried German, US, USSR and IJN cruiser lines I have come to a conclusion that IJN is the most enjoyable line to play, mostly because of the armored decks the t5-t7 have. On the other cruisers a BB shell will autopenetrate you anywhere apart from belt armor. USSR cruisers have soft decks but at least they have 50mm of citadel deck armor which helps to prevent citadels when angled but you still eat full penetrations. On german t5-6 CLs the citadel deck is 20mm meaning every BB shell that touches the citadel, autopenetrates. My proposal: Give all cruisers same tier BB-class armor amidships on the sides and deck (or at least deck only), t4-5 19mm, t6-7 25mm, t8+ 32mm while retaining weak (overmatchable) bow/stern. This way you will still get deleted if you derp broadside but become a much harder target when angled. Maybe it will turn cruisers into unstoppable flamethrowers of doom, maybe not but I think it's at least an idea worth some testing seeing the sorry state the low tier cruiser gameplay is in?
  7. I included her in the general USSR cruiser part where I talked about the 50mm citadel roof. Budyonny is quite capable of bouncing shells on the armored belt and the citadel is well protected when angled but will still take autopenetrations everywhere else because her deck is only 13mm. Her tanking potential is nowhere near that of Aoba's. I only highlighted the cruisers whose armored decks exceed the common overmatch thresholds.

    HMS Nelson Sloped Armour

    I have found that my bane at t7 are Nagatos, those 410mm seem to citadel me from any angle I personally think the whole idea of this enormous zombie heal on Nelson and Lion/Conq is stupid and would prefer to have a more reasonable armor and citadel layout in exchange for standard heal. That spaced armor coupled with downward-sloped 356mm of steel could prove pretty effective.
  9. I (sort of) know how to make cruisers work, the point is how to make them less punishing for the average player. Cruisers should also be rewarded for angling properly. Right now only a few benefit from this, Furutaka, Aoba, Myoko, Zao, Moskva these can be somewhat tanky in the open and are not restricted to hugging landmasses or smokes to survive. Next step-BB AP vs Destroyers= automatic overpen

    FIX YOUR GODDAMN *Edited!!!

    I only have problems with freeze/stutter and the occasional crash when I alt-tab to windows, especially during loading times. But recently if I alt-tab when in port for a couple of minutes and then come back, the framerate in port drops to like 0,5fps and it may take up to several minutes until the FPS return to normal.

    Should I try Bismarck?

    I ran Manual Secondaries for some time but found that I'm still too much of a noob to know when to push and when not. That and the fact that by now everyone knows not to approach a Bismarck and enemies are going out of their way to stay far from you. I swapped MS for CE and use the secondaries more as a psychological weapon. Might get back to MS once im at 18pt captain or pick FP instead.

    Zatopiony przez swojego (spotkanie znajomych z forum)

    Pozdrowienia dla dywizji LOBUZ ( @AmetystDrago, @_PROROK_ , trzeciego niestety nie pamietam :( ), 2x Oktyabrskaya, Murmansk napotkanej parę dni temu w mojej Queen Elisabeth. Bitwa była dość frustrująca dla mnie, kilka idealnie wymierzonych salw w burtę Murmanska PROROKA zaowocowało jedynie overpenami (pokarało mnie za używanie AP w brytolach), potem uparłem się pykać z AP w skątowane Oktyabry (znowu te AP...) a w ostatniej sekundzie zwycięstwo zostało nam wydarte przez samobójstwo debilnego niszczyciela który zamiast spokojnie torpedować z ukrycia (nic nie mogło go wyspotować na tym etapie) zdecydował się na yolo kontra 12x305mm....

This change is designed to make the low tier gameplay more comfortable for the new players and to reduce the difference between the Repair Party I and Repair Party II consumables. I'd say it's great and about time! Bit sad that the Spee is only 50% affected, this thing needs buffs as any other cruiser. Now give cruisers hydro and def AA in separate slots so they can start acting as the multirole ships they are...

    Zaokrągla, dlatego Mogami 155mm przebija 25mm (25,8333...) a 152mm już nie (25,333...). Mój błąd polegał na tym że (już po zaokrągleniu) musiałoby wyjść 23mm penetracji żeby przebić 22mm pancerza (czyli generalnie o 1mm więcej niż pancerz który chcemy przebić), mea culpa.

    Bez IFHE 130mm penetrują 22mm (21,6666...) z IFHE 29mm pancerza. Przydatność jest dyskusyjna, przydaje się przeciw BB tier 6/7 oraz w ograniczonym stopniu wysokotierowym krążkom, z którymi lepiej jednak się Ogniewojem nie strzelać chyba że są na ogryzku i zajęci czymś innym. Mam na nim tylko 10pkt kapitana więc zainwestowałem na razie tylko w CE. Na Kijowie rozważyłbym IFHE, na Ogniewoju wydaje mi się że jest znacznie więcej potencjalnie ważniejszych skilli.

    So despite having no experience in CVs I decided to take it into battle because the other ships were on cooldown...I feel so sorry for my team now :( And yeah, the CV UI is indeed a goddamn frickin mess especially with the amount of stuff that is happening in this event. Best result so far was a 4-star with Svyatozar.

    That is true but if a cruiser catches an unrepairable fire and is not behind cover, it is equivalent to being permaspotted for 60 seconds which in turn leads to eating ALOT of that AP/HE damage you speak of which could be otherwise avoided by slipping back into stealth. So yeah, the change helps in more ways than simple damage %

    Also, eight guns might still be competitive, with faster reload if needed. Having four turrets next to each other makes for some pretty impressive tight shell groupings (think about Nelson).

    Yeah, It was just an idea on how to make her interesting without changing the game mechanics (like making her a CV hybrid). Let's say two plane consumable slots with separate cooldowns, three uses each, could be interesting. IMO all ships with multiple catapults could get the option to use all of them.

    Tone would fit well as a tier 7 maybe with fighter and spotter planes in separate slots or multiple plane consumable slots that do not share cooldown as her gimmick. As for Alaska, it all depends how she is going to be classified (BB or CB). As a BB she makes little sense even at tier 8. The Stalingrad, her USSR counterpart is coming as a tier 10 cruiser.

    Be more positive! Cruisers are killed by everything, now there is one thing less on the list Besides, an unextiguishable fire is more than just raw damage, it also ruins concealment and concealment is life.

    Except a Budyonny and Cleveland will still eat a Spee alive by sheer DPM. But I get your point, it kinda is a "half-BB" so maybe it should retain it's unique flavour. But this isn't a "Buff the Spee" or "Which cruisers is best" thread, let's just take this moment to rejoice about the good direction the balancing is going for a change!
