I just find it a little bit suspicious - the whole story about "only a small portion of playerbase impacted". Hall of fame is a thing for active players - they tend to visit forums - yet we didnt see ANY confirmation from a single EU player that he/she got their HoF tokens. Looks like a classic "sweeping under the rug" case. With the shady background of pushing people into buying containers with them tokens to complete their captain. PS. Im one of the impacted - 600 tokens due to be delivered. It is sad that there was no offcial communication for this issue except forum entry from the CM.

Season 12 started.... and all bad memories returned... Then it hit me - we have a system called Naval Battles - why Ranked cannot use the simmilar system (use XP not wins as an award criteria): 7 top XP players REGARDLESS of team gain a star, 8th does not gain nor loses a star, bottom 6 lose one. Same star balance as with current system, but promotes good game more than current one. You cant leech stars (wins) with it, you can fight your way to the star even if your team is a "vegetable one". I cannot find any big drawback of this approach - maybe its worth at least suggesting it to the WG Devs.

It is funny how WG thinks that removing all interesting aspects of the game - strategical flanking, cover, concealed play - by introducing current CV mechanics - is going to benefit the game. Now they bring it to ranked play where all problems with CVs will be even more pronounced. I will be watching how ranked meta evolves with CVs but I predict that they will totally dominate this season. All a good cv has to do is to find dd, camp it to death then proceed to win the war of attrition, which by design, suits them more due to magically regenerating planes.
