I only played the tier III and IV BBs... but, they are BS indeed.
The only thing they have is a bit of HP and I dont care about most things, but 1 thing.
When I fire f.e. 6 shots on a ship over 10km away, 2 shots are to short, 2 fly over, 1 lands in front of him and 1 behind him. Now we only need to wait half a minute and we can try again... 6 shells go, now we do much better and because he is only 7,5 km away we actually hit... 1 bounce and 1 does 1k damage... the lower tier CA gets closer and simply finish the BB of.
The other day I had to do over 100 hits (yes, actual hits) on equal and lower tier (CA and DD) before I hit the first citadel hit.
I got it the same feeling when sailing in a CA or DD and I start laughing when I see a tier III or IV BB... :-) :-) :-) FREE DAMAGE!
They should make the guns imho a lot more powerfull (acc., vel. damage), so at least it will scare some ships to sail straight to them.
The problem on doing this is prob. the fear of camping BBs, so they live longer and do a lot of damage and it will be more of a camping game.
