WoWs Forum shutdown (on July 28th) !?!?!?
flip_66 replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Wargaming‘s answer to all the negative feedback is to just close the forum. If nobody complains that must mean everything is fine, right? -
Do you think Wargaming will declare Concealed Maneuvers a success?

Of course they will declare it a success. Wouldn't be WG if they second guessed their poor development choices. -

Summer Festival: Picnic by the Sea and Premium Ship Containers, Plus Loads More!
flip_66 replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
It’s the addicted they are aiming for. Actually I am grateful for this event. A few months break will be refreshing. -
Just to put it into context: Farming all the post-progress rewards would give you 1050 summer tokens which you could use to buy four (4) 'Picnic by the sea' containers. That's the equivalent of 1000 coal (instead of 21,000). You could also buy ... 200 credit packs (1.5 million credits = two games with Friesland and boosters) containers that give you free xp (useless) commander free xp (useless) unique camos (useless) unique commanders without improved skills (super useless) boosters (not completely useless but also not great). Oh and of course you can purchase the remaining tokens for not one, not two but three 'special offers' for a total of € 335.70... Are! You! Serious?
-
By the way: It's a little bold to call the anniversary event 'A sea of rewards' when you literally cut them into half. Do you guys think we're stupid?
-
Support CVs with minelayer abilities... didn't @Just_Cheg call that a conspiracy theory during stream? Also: This will eventually break the game for good. Maybe that was the plan all along the way, who knows...
-
Of course you don’t. When do you ever see any negative effects?
-
Three camos and a patch. The rewards get worse with every week.

Thank god my life isn't miserable so I don't have to belittle people in a forum 24/7.
-
That's a feature to make playing subs 'more comfortable'.

So I just had that ranked battle (with Ragnar) where I went in, spotted the enemy DD, got him killed, then turned around to kill their second DD on the other flank. I was quite happy about the game because I thought I had contributed a lot to our victory. Turned out I didn't, as I ended up third to last on our team. Then I saw our sub that literally didn't do anything else than ramming the enemy sub and still finished ahead of me. So it appears to me that with the new xp distribution system you punish playing the objective even more than before. Yes I didn't deal huge damage but I was the key ship to win us the game and in my opinion that should be rewarded. Before you changed the distribution of base xp amongst team members it was already bad but now it's just a lottery. That's especially bad for ranked where being P1 actually matters.
-
It's not just submarines though. They are obviously broken (that's the reason they introduced them in the first place) but the whole reward system is off at the moment. You just don't get rewarded for doing the right thing any more. It seems to me as if WG wants to reward bad players even more than they already did before those changes.
-
Just put him on your ignore list, you won't miss anything.
-
Because... he rammed the enemy sub like I stated in the beginning? I took the sub because he was obvious example. The Schlieffen pushed in without any sense of teamplay as well, he didn't deserve to be second neither. The Salem actually did quite well. What I'm saying is that the new system rewards the wrong people. Wargaming saw a problem (just like the community), changed it... and failed... again...
-
How can you tell that a sub is useless? He went in, submerged, nobody lost health and he died... like most of them do. I'd say this is the reason why they get more xp than everyone else.
-
No.
-
That we agree on.

If you know what the graph is supposed to show and you only see lines you can see a tendency in it. That's called 'qualitative'. If you doubt that the graph is fake... well then I cannot help you. Who guarantees you that Wargaming's data isn't fake anyways?
-
Another proof not everyone gets the difference.
-
Which is obviously wrong. A graph with no numbers is called 'qualitative data' instead of 'quantitative data'. But I do not expect any scientific skill from people that defend Wargaming.
-
I know. Good enough for me.
-
Is it not possible to block people any more? Is there anything useful WG has left us?
-
Well... if they do read the forums they aren't doing it thoroughly.
