Don't rework anything. The game is bad enough and we know you will fail anyways.

Why Bourgogne have anti sub air strike 11.5 km ?
flip_66 replied to farko1's topic in General Discussion
Yes, probably because Bourgogne is so weak that it needs better ASW ... absolutely makes sense! -
Ruckus is not transparent and WG broke promises
flip_66 replied to Raid_on_the_Medway's topic in General Discussion
So in total you can get: 1452 tokens in total which gives you: 14 out of 32 Ruckus in the Depot items (43.75 %) 1/43 Hidden corner items 2/59 Storekeeper's items 225k credits For the total cost of: 57,000 doubloons + € 17.68 (which is equivalent to € 205.18) You cannot get all items. If you're lucky you get 360 days of premium, if you're unlucky you get 90 days (for the same price). This makes it gambling to me. -

That's a tough choice ... -

That's BS. You don't need Papa Government to step in for you. What you do need to do is stop breaking your 16th credit card to buy stuff you don't need. Only if the cash flow dries up WG will have to rethink. -
If he is not an employee, how can he make statements like this: I've been there long enough ...

Btw how do you justify banning people and not telling them what they did wrong? I know you mark this as 'privacy reasons' but eventually you have a contract with your players and you are not allowed to just withhold them parts of the game - especially when they are paying money. You owe them an explanation and I am quite sure every court will see it that way.
-
So where can I look up the definition of 'unsportsmanlike behaviour'? Let's be honest: You don't double check any reports, you just ban people that have enough votes against them. If you're not able to provide a support to this game, why would you be able to provide personnel that double checks reports?!
-
No it is inplace to punish people who finish on top of the leaderboard and get many reports because they are just better. Well thought through.

This mode is really fun when CVs can just take out all the convoy ships by themselves. Wonder who came up with this bright idea again.
-
This is literally the only thing you can do against subs since 'ASW' doesn't work at all. Not saying that I'm doing so but ...
-
From my experience I highly doubt that. I have been banned so many times. Many times it was deserved but sometimes I just didn't do anything over weeks (primarily because of a disabled chat).

Update 0.11.5: U.S. Independence Day
flip_66 replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
So this means they cannot hide for 95 percent of the battle and you can actually harm them now, right? -
Ah yes I get it and I actually agree that people on the forum just rant about everything (I do that as well). Of course it is POSSIBLE to get these results and following Murphy's Law you eventually WILL lose 12 in a row, even if you're a good player. My point is that these streaks happen too often and they are too specific. And they should be rare as you can clearly see. Tbh I think we're on the same page here. I think WG's matchmaker does weird things every now and then. It would just be cool to know what precisely it is doing.
-
Yes, of course, the probability obviously rises if your sample size increases and your streak starts from scratch with every negative outcome. A twelve game losing / winning streak should still be very unlikely and especially: This should not happen every two to four weeks (but it does). As you rightly said: Over 1,000 tosses... Do you have a formular? I'd be more than happy to calculate it through.

Serioius question: Is THESO some kind of Sub-WG clan? Because whenever I see you guys you have to defend Wargaming. Obviously the only guy not understanding statistics is you. I'll try to make it clear to you: If you flip a coin, the probability will always be 50 percent (ahead of EACH throw). It does not matter whether it's the first or the 12th throw. HOWEVER it is VERY unlikely that you get 12 times head (or 12 times tail) in a row (0.02 % to be precise). Now we obviously cannot say that 50 percent players will always have a 50 percent chance to win but if you make the right assumptions you can estimate the probability with sufficient accuracy. As you can see I estimated that guy's ranked win probability to 35 percent (which is really low) and you can definitely calculate the probability of 12 defeats with that. Clear now? Because this is EXACTLY how statistics work.

So you're doing all the edited?! Interesting.
-
Uh how nice of you, we are allowed to pay you € 114 instead of € 135 to get a tier 9 pixel ship. Honestly, this special is another disappointment. You stopped giving us weekend missions long ago and now even these rare specials are disappointing.

Khaba is a waste of coal.

Oh dear Wargaming why have you done this?

Oh I wasn't talking about them being OP (quite frankly imho Annapolis and Condé are way more OP, even as a cruiser main). They are just not balanced against each other. Satsuma is way superior at this point. And we can see that with other ships as well. -

flip_66 replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
I'll just replay with one picture here: Yes, these are fairly new ships, but I can't imagine this was much different in the early test stages. If they seriously try to balance stuff properly, they are doing a **** job on it. I can see your point and I actually agree with you to a certain extent. However if you look at submarines: This is something really absolutely nobody wants. All you have to do is look at the reaction during the prop... Thursday stream. When they are talking about regular stuff like new lines, new special ships and even Superships and CVs, the reactions are quite mixed. However as soon as they mention subs, the crowd goes crazy. Literally nobody has positive words for them. If you get ONLY negative feedback on ALL platforms, then you should probably rethink on this project. WG is doing the opposite, they simply ignore everything the community has to say about subs. So yes: You have to ignore some feedback because there will always be trolls and you obviously cannot satisfy everyone but you should never ignore the core of your customers. -

To your points: 1. Weeeeeeell, we all know how this 'it's just testing, nothing is final' works out. Eventually, WG might change them a bit, but the disaster barely goes away as we have seen on many occasions 2. I agree on this one. It's his stick and his disciples agree with everything he says without questioning 3. You're right in a way that some people (me included) rant about everything that comes from WG. However they give us good reason for this. They very rarely do something desireable or progressive. Mainly it's stuff that has the sole reason to fill their pockets (which I can absolutely understand) or something they wasted too much effort on to cancel. -
There is a serious bug in the Black Event pack

You'd be surprised... -
Obviously nobody will pay that for the camo. It's just an excuse for WG so that they can sell a tier 9 pixel ship for € 114.
