    I just had another awesome ranked battle that was over in 2 minutes for me. It's just so much skill involved in this, it's unbelievable. I'm sure the silent majority is absolutely fascinated about the way this 'game' goes.

    You will need a dedicated commander as confirmed by marketing manager. It is like that on the test server as well. These will not work like special ships but like tech tree ships.

    Just had a battle with almost only Superships and it went as expected: DDs and cruisers died first, battleships had a long distance fight and Super Subs and Super Carrier Midway could happily farm damage because - suprprise - there was no way to counter them. Amazing update once again! You know how to listen to feedback.

    It was just amazing to see how they did not give a flying **** about those hundreds of critical voices. And they still pretend that 'there is nothing final yet' even though everyone knows they will not listen to anyone and push for this trash even though it does not work.

    I just had my first game with subs in both teams during this stage and - surprise - it ruined the game entirely. You just don't want to learn from previous mistakes, do you? You can't fight them, you get randomly spotted for no reason and they are not even fun playing. Does that sound like something else you messed up before? *cough* CVs *cough*

    Just a quick question because the last time I played on the test server before 0.11.2.3 was when we could still collect rewards through that special web page (wargaming.net/userbonus or something like that). Will we now get the rewards directly to our account? When will this happen? edit: nevermind, I received those the moment I posted this.

  14. So my guess is: You are aiming at people who throw even more money at you for more 21 point captains and then in a year you will introduce tier 11 premium ships. This will break the game like nothing before. Essentially all the expensive tier 10 premiums will become useless at some point.
  15. And by 'learning new mechanics' you mean resetting their statistics or creating a new account? It's not new things that people are complaining about. It's new things that nobody needs and that don't work that people are complaining about. There are many good 'new' things in the game like the research bureau or some of the events and dockyards. But some things are just poorly designed and WG doesn't listen to their customers' feedback (asymmetric battles, CVs, subs...).
  16. I don't think the marketing team can give you an answer to that. What I've seen so far is that literally nobody thinks this is a good idea. I just think it's something WG decided to do and didn't want to go to waste because they already spent so much time with. Personally I think it's a slap in the face for everyone who spent time grinding top tier ships and money for tier X special ships. But tbh... we should have known before...

    I really don't get WG. Things would be so simple, two easy options: Don't let CVs spot AT ALL. This way they would be dependent on other ships spot for them. They would have a sniper role then but this would be just fair imho because in return they are safe from enemy attacks (because they hug the map border). The mechanics are already in the game with Dutch cruisers' airplanes. Let CVs spot as before but only highlight ships spotted by only them on the minimap instead of rendering them. This is ALSO already in the game as ships spotted by radar are visible to only the radar ship for the first five seconds. This way CVs would still be OP but at least they can't ruin the whole game for DDs players. Vary things if you want but what you are planning makes absolutely no sense.

    This is a massive nerf to DDs since they can now be spotted from their regular surface detection zone (about 6 km for tier 10 DDs). What on earth is the idea behind this? Don't you want DDs to take caps any more?
