  1. Nice guide Thisheep but you should review it and get rid of all the spelling mistakes when you have the time for it. Reading a guide full of spelling mistakes (yes I know you are French but you are still writing an English guide) makes it really hard to finish reading the guide from start to finish, which is important for those new players to stick with it :-) +1
  2. In certain situations it is hard as explained. Would you play passive and not shoot your torps at a battleship 9km away turning broadside cuz you see on the minimap there is a friendly destroyer going yolo towards it? - I don't think so. Would you hold your torps on a smoke cloud in a cap, knowing you have a fair amount of chance to hit the hiding dd in the smoke because you have a friendly destroyer going the opposite way and MIGHT do a 180 and run into your torps? There are plenty of other situations where accidents will happen. But ok, I guess most of the community goes along with the teamkiller system and it's working as intended. - Thx for the feedback.

Excessive stuttering and lag in every game now.

I noticed issues with stuttering as well ingame after the patches. But most recently I haven't noticed it anymore after the new patch (0.5.8). I personally think it's due to a certain mod(s) that was installed back then which wasn't fully compatible with the 0.5.7 patch? Have you checked what mods you have installed? If none, have you checked if the issue still persists after 0.5.8? And err, a cpu doesn't click :p probably is your HDD, and if it's your HDD, I would recommend running diagnostics on it as it is usually a sign of wear.
  4. It's not intentional - that's the whole point. It's implemented right now to punish people for teamkilling, no matter if it was intentional or by accident. Therefor it would be nice to give the player that got teamkilled have the option to punish or forgive the teamkiller. I have been playing this game long enough to know how to torp. and not to torp in front of teammates, but in certain situations you have no choice and if your teammate happens to turn a 180 all of the sudden due to panic (hence the 320hp left) and run into your torpedos by accident you get punished for it. Give the players the option to decide, not the system that only has one outcome.
  5. I have a feeling they messed up the team killer status system. Right now the system gives you pink status for 5 games if you TEAMKILL a ship, doesn't matter if it's full HP or at 30HP. If you accidentally kill it, you get the status < PERIOD > First time I got the pink status (for the standard total of 5 games) I got it by hitting a torpedo on a friendly shimakaze that was at 320HP (320!). I thought I was just unlucky and perhaps had accumulated a threshold in damage towards team to give me the status but little did I know it only registered the kills, not the damage. Now I find myself pink again after torping a friendly fubuki with 1 torpedo by accident again due to bad luck on his side, I send out 5 torps to an enemy North Carolina, 4 hits, got the kill and that 1 torpedo that missed hit the Fubuki trying to go yolo on the same target. I suggest WG adds an option to allow players to give the option to [PUNISH] or [FORGIVE] when teamkilled. - This will allow some interaction between the players and allow players to forgive teamkills that were done by accident, instead by plain stupidity or on purpose. Also the amount of games you remain pink should be accumulated towards the total friendly damage you did, not by the amount of friendly kills. What are your thoughts ? ( There are probably more discussions/posts about this system as I feel I am not the only one finding it not only unfair but completely unlogical )

    The Reality of Tier 10

Hello Max, I feel where your concerns are coming from but I do also read you barely had experience within the T10 range, you keep stating personal views on what specific class of ships are about as an INDIVIDUAL role. You have to understand that in a T10 match there is no such thing as an INDIVIDUAL role per CLASS but as a whole, each SHIP on it's own is different from one another. For example let's take the T10 cruisers, Zao, Des Moines and Hindenburg : all 3 are different and as such, have different roles in a game. Same goes for T10 destroyers, they are all destroyers but individually they all perform differently and it's just a matter of personal preference in playstyle in the end. What I am trying to say is that you shouldn't look at it in black&white only and definitely not at the individual roles alone in the end it's a teamgame, the current state of T10 battles is fine but people will play it less since they have to pay more credits for them than a T8 battle and eventually end up loosing credits in the long run after having a streak of bad games/losses. Lastly, the most important thing to remember when picking your hard worked for T10 ship is to HAVE FUN :-) You wanna go YOLO on your yamato and rush into the enemy team, dodge 30 torpedos and end up ramming some ship that happens to get in your way just before you die, then so be it, I had some good laughs when doing that :-) You wanna play safe and try and snipe ships off with your yamato waiting for that RNG to get you a triple citadel on some cruiser showing his broadside getting *splat* deleted, so be it No need to look into specifics that much once you reach T10, have fun and enjoy your T10 ship, you will eventually end up grinding lower tiers soon enough anyways for credits ^^

New Aim Mod (No, realy, this one is new)

EVERY online game will have hacks (aimbot / wallhack / duplication / etc..) available as long as there are people willing to PAY for them. There is a market for it, so there will always be some around. Honestly, I don't really care anymore about such aim assist mods as they are not game breaking (for instance 100km range single hit kills, like some FPS games out there). My aim is roughly at 25% and I am enjoying the game as it is right now (not considering the 5.1.1 patch from hell). The next patch looks amazing on paper and I see myself playing this game for a long time, mainly because I enjoy it. Some people here should take a chill pill and not over dramatize this as if it's the end of the world (of warships). People that need these mods to actually have fun in a game are usually people that don't stay for the long run, they will come and go. My 2 cents.

You sir, are completely in DENIAL. After reading some of your posts I am starting to get the feeling you are only there to say the opposite of what others are complaining about or minimize every criticism that is given towards Wargaming. Maybe you are affiliated with Wargaming in some way to base your opinions on, but you seem to minimize everything that's been said on these forums. The current patch is a major issue and if you cannot see that, well have fun with the remaining playerbase on WoWs, which won't exceed the 2K if it continues this way. For me and the majority of the playerbase it's actually the other way around. 10% of the content was good. 90% of the game has been ruined ! As said before, if the patch did EXACTLY what it said it would be doing then yes, it's an amazing patch but it didn't, it made the game unplayable for a lot of players who have spend a very large amount of time AND money into it.

    Economy after 0.5.1

The reward system has been touched yes but the current issue you are not making any money with a battleship is simply because the mechanics are currently BROKEN. Battleships rely on damage done in order to get credits, as you can barely do any damage with the current patch compared to the last, your income will drastically go down as well. If you need credits, play a destroyer or cruiser. It's that simple now. I refuse to play this game until they have fixed the current issues. I was grinding on a steady pace with my Amagi and North Carolina in order to get to the Yamato and Montana but the current patch made that impossible. I can still see people in complete denial, which I honestly don't understand. Look at the facts, Wargaming has BROKEN the game with patch 0.5.1 and you will see less and less battleship players in the queues, they are losing players on a daily base now and I was hoping for more feedback now on their current progress on fixing the issues but it has been a one way communication so far now (1 week after the patch), they admitted they have "broken" something and are working on it, but any ETA on the fix or a give back to the community (as in extra premium days for the ones most battleship players have lost now) has been non-existent.
  10. That would be a great addition to the game and easy to implement. +1

Option for Destroyers to start with AA turned off

I don't see the point in adding an option to turn off AA at the start of a match if it's already there ingame with a simple interaction of the player. I forget about it all the time but I just manually turn them off when I see enemy planes inbound when needed. It might be even easier to fix and set AA off by default on destroyers at the start of the game? - That would make more sense.

Grouping the bugs and ridiculous changes on the version 5.1.0

At least they are giving us some feedback and are working on the issue(s) as we speak/type. That's the main reason why I still strongly believe in this game and keeping my eyes open for the hotfix :-)

    Teamkill - new punish system

From a player of your caliber I would've expected a little more ^^ Dodging friendly torps happens often, but getting TKed or hit by them is virtually non-existent at the higher tiers if you use your common sense, Premium ship in your team with torpedos? Stay away from it! :p Heck, I just stay away from anything that has torpedos or at least try to stay behind their torp line.

Option for Destroyers to start with AA turned off

You know you can manually turn off AA, right? (press P) Why would you want to add this option if it's simply done with pressing a button on your keyboard?

I feel the OP is either playing a different game than me (and has very low standards) or is he being sarcastic, which would make more sense. IF the new patch would have done exactly what it said it would be doing, then yes.. amazing patch! Unfortunately it has broken more than it added. Will have to wait for the hotfix or next patch, hopefully sooner than later. no pun intended.
