I got so close to giving up on WoWs after being torped by CV's in most of the games I played in with BB's. Whats that? you're keeping track of planes, turning towards them on approach, already dodging when torps hit the water, well tough luck because, suprise! they're practically point blank when they hit the water. Even when I stayed with cruisers that had AA, CV planes still just dropped their torps without caring. Only thing that's stopped me from quitting is realising how Crusiers are just plain better then BB's. More damage then BB's because you can reliably hit ships without getting shafted by extreme rng, quick enough to react to situations on the map, you can cover allies with AA (even if that doesn't stop CV's dropping torps on the first run........), you can dodge enemy fire giving you essentially a higher HP pool then BB's. Really after playing a day of cruisers I'm at a complete loss as to what BB's are even useful for. I'm fine with getting killed in games when I've made a mistake, that's for me to fix. But when I do EVERYTHING I possible could and still get murdered, that's not cool, that's just annoying, and it's the perfect way to drive people away from a game. Spoilers: secret CV rant

To be quite honest ship slots should be free. It's probably one of the things that annoys me most about WoT. The loyal players that spend the most time grinding to unlock and buy all ships / tanks are the ones that have to pay ridiculous amounts of money just to get a slot to put them in. Surely Premium accounts, Free XP conversions and Premium Ships bring in more then enough money, slots costing 300 is just plain silly.

Played 5 games earlier and gave up, ping was all over the place. Surprisingly didn't see ships rubber banding but I did have sooooo many shots not registered by the server, that on my screen were direct hits.

I'm by no means the greatest player out there, but my stats are good enough on tanks that I get focused in most of the games I play, I don't even want to think what it would be like when I get to unicum. It got to the point a few months ago that I just stopped playing, getting artied first / focused by most of the enemy team gets really annoying, you have to start playing completly different. Sure you can deal with it, but at that point its not fun. I like the idea behind XVM, its nice knowing what you're up against, but from my experiances it just ruins the gameplay for anyone thats half decent.
