Friesland: before you spend your FXP
Kutfroat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
blablabla...it´s like talking to players that got the smolensk about the smolenks. it is broken (just like friesland dps). mate...stats will show i´m right. it will get nerfed/removed at one point. just like smolensk. no need to argue about this. a broken ship stays broken, will be broken to promote sales. -
Friesland: before you spend your FXP

I dont think it, stats will Show it, soon. You dont understand the "core" of competeteive games, do you? on a certain skill level, effective dps - in this case, good arcs, good Shell Speed, short reload > all. so if z-52 and Friesland Player are same skill Level...Friesland Tears you a new one. -

lol...what is it good for? wait till you meet it in a regular T10 "Anti-DD" DD...let´s call it Z-52. It will tear you a new one. and after that, even a second new one. and everyone that owns it, will call it "skill" instead of "stupid as f.u.c.k. OP premium s.h.i.t ship that requires way less skill than regular ships to make it work." working as intended. -

What ship tree would you love to do all over again?
Kutfroat replied to Mad_Dog_Dante's topic in General Discussion
none. T7 and T9 most of the time are just freeexp "steppingstones", and T8 MM has become so fuc.king bad, that basically from T7 on it is one awefull grind. so why do it all over again? -
generally speaking, yes, that is the intention. but there were/are some exceptions. for me, fletcher and z46 were really good and fun ships, and oddly i also liked the neptune. but baltimore/buffalo, alsace and especially friedrich d. g. are intentional "abysmaly" bad ships - even fully upgraded- with only one purpose...make you spent freeexp./convert exp./spent money.

T10 must play with T10. End of the story.
Kutfroat replied to AlphaBaboon's topic in General Discussion
but, but, but...how else should WG stealth-nerf/devalue expansive T8 premium ships? the ones who bought them would make way too much credits, and such shorten the grind way too much! it would be easy to fix the "problem"... -
...will be the same as the modules with combat bonuses would have been. they will be so good to be mandatory (see ohio teaser and have a look at smolensk. maybe they get tuned down a bit, but they will stay OP=mandatory to make you grind again). that's why another "sh.tstorm" is needed, till "they" realize to either restrain to only cosmetic bonuses, or better, scrap the wohle NTC concept. edit: https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/196970-is-ntc-still-a-bit-broken-in-the-form-of-wip-colbert-flamu-gameplay-vid/ a similar thread from the u.s. forum with a video from flamuu about the colbert - not the ntc concept! (but also a potential ntc reward).

no, and no one sane would start to regrind some lines multiple times to get them.
-
really? what about cruiser players? there are 4-5 bb in every game FOR 2 FU.CING YEARS!
-
do you really think these ships will be availabe by simply just - without any need to spend money, for 95% of the regular "scrubs" - regrinding? if they are not strong(er), there is 0 incentive for me to even start. i reached my/the goal, the t10 ship(s). this is and should stay the endgame, most powerfull ships in the game. not any t10.5/t11 hidden behind one or even more regrinds, that you will most certainly have to pay for to finish it in time - they wont give any powerfull ships just like the legendary modules, for just playing the game. it's naive to think this. i think really most cant make the - obvious - connection between the ntc concept and the, allready sold 2 times, grind speed up bundles...
-
be sure that there will be some sort of timelimit, otherwise no one will be pressured into converting exp/buying booster bundles. and it would make no sense if players could use their stored freeexp on this...why give the best even better tools to sealclub, now in hightiers, for free the second it gets released? when one of the official reasons for the NTC concept was, that they want to free up resources to work on other stuff than new ship lines? to get some time to work on e.g. "balance"? but on the other hand also be sure the rewards have to be OP/mandatory, because most sane players wont ever go through t7/9 grinds again...they are allready just artificial steppingstones, obstacles to t10 to make you spend money.
-
just think what their goal is and make an educated guess. you have one try...but i give you a hind "grind speed up bundles for certain techtrees for 50€". and yes, 95% of regular players will need them, because the timelimit to complete the regrind will be set so tight, intentionally (just look at the latent benham grind, i'm pretty sure, 95% of the owners bought (=had to buy) some containers to get it. see the pattern?)
-
so you think the reward ships will be balanced ships? the realitiy will be, if you dont regrind, you get punished.
-
wasnt aware that it is now announced for coal. doesnt change the fact WG will make the reward ships OP people regrind entire lines, because they think permanent camos or special flags arent enough to lure people into regrinding entire lines.

WG: Will Benham be put up for sale in the Premium shop?
Kutfroat replied to OldschoolGaming_YouTube's topic in General Discussion
WG should defenitely sell the benham in premium shop after this boring event/grind is over. make it 50-60€ and it's a "go". I too think it's the one ship, out of the recent premiums, that many were looking for...and the somers of course, but it's allready anounced as a steal ship (would have prefered freexp/coal like yoshino/salem). -
WG: Will Benham be put up for sale in the Premium shop?
Kutfroat replied to OldschoolGaming_YouTube's topic in General Discussion
be asured, they really hoped/thought people who want it, would buy it through lootboxes (to get the fuel)...why do you think they made the grind that hard and off putting in the first place? -
Ok, everyone here is talking about cruisers...but what does this mean for gunboat destroyers (U.S, German and British)? Afte reading this post, I fear it will be a massive nerf for them, especially against battleships? How are they supposed to deal damage to them? It seems they want to turn this into WoT, where lower Tier light and medium tanks cant do anything against heavy tanks...which was one of the major reasons I quit WoT... The last ships that need any buff against anything are battleships!

What do you think is the best Tier 10 Battle Ship, and Why do you think it is the best?

guys...there is no reason to be happy...the NTC concept of regrinding entire lines multiple times to get something that, currently premium ships, for sure will be op as hell and only available for limited time window - the carott has to be big enough, has to go! think a few steps ahead... their goal was to get the system into the game, so they presented it with unacceptable buffs/features, knowing that there will be a massive sh.tstorm, to than "show how much they are listening to us to change the rewards". be assured those ships locked behind the grind will be as mandatory as the never really to be planned to be introduced upgrades. because if not, too few players would go for it, but they want to sell their overprized "grind speed up bundles"...(they dont care about resource sinks - this is no rpgmmo with an in game economy, they want fresh money) if they change the rewards to purely cosmetic ones, than we could go back to being only pissed because of cv rework mess. -

dont fall for the bait guys...if NTC gets into the game, what prevents "them" to add perfomance related upgrades later on? all they do now is calming down the masses with placebos. the real problem is the "regrind" itself...the concept itself should get trashed! -

Kutfroat replied to Tanatoy's topic in Development Blog
Is it so hard to understand? The majority of the players simply REJECT the idea of regrinding whole tech trees...especially as there is any advantage to gain over other players. Make it strictly cosmetic changes (new skins) and maybe something like free premium consumables. But everything more/else is not acceptable, because it destroys balance - even more. -

This...with this announcement they even killed the incentive to play NOW. Why should I or anyone keep progressing to any T10 ship from now on? Pure waste of time...and no, there is "0" chance I will regrind any techtree that I've allready completed...and I mean "0". There is no "maybe, let's see or might"... -

I will vote against even the slightest idea of this NTA concept with my wallet. As long as this concept isn't scrapped, thrown away and is never coming back in any form, I wont spend a single € on a WG game from now on. You guys should do the same, it's the only message they understand. -
hmm...it's time for the cv's to start "just dodge" mode, "adopt" and "git gud" it seems... now cv spotting for themselves must be removed (just like arty in wot cant spot for itself), to nerf them lategame and they might be close to become balanced.
