  1. ...6 games today, 6 loses, all looking like this. I accidentaly deleted one picture, but believe me, it looked exactly the same. So, dont tell me this is "bad luck", it isnt. It's stacking winning odds in the favour of one team, not against one player, not against me, that would be of course [edited], but it stacks. Additionally, I had 5 consecutive loses yesterday, too, I just started to document the outcome today. So I'm sitting at 11(!!!!!) loses in a row, that all looked like or similar to this, me being at least in top 3. And all this games were rolls, not even close and often decided within the first 3-5 minutes with no chance of coming back...so basically a waste of time. it would have made no difference if I would have gone afk in one of these matches. So...matchmaking isnt really random, there is an algorythm besides class mirrormatching. If it would be, something like this should not happen, or at least the odds are like winning the lottery. And no, it's not the first time this happens to me, I had many "artificial streaks" like this, what - staristically - should be close to impossible. Edit: And another one...same pattern...makes it 12 consecutive loses. Edit: Another one...13 loses in a row. This time I was "only" 3rd in my team, as T7 in a T9 battle.

    Here are the stats from the two ships I played today. First one is Sims B, second one Scharnhorst B. All from loses. I dont know if you guys can draw any conclusions out of them about my skill, but if, please feel free to suggest what I could change., could try to do differently. I'm sorry I dont have the replays...I deactivated them long time ago.

    And why does something like this never happen the other way? I had multiple 10+ losingstreaks like this, but never 10+ win streaks where I was at the bottom of my teams scorelist. Sure, from time to time I screw up and my team still wins, but not 10+ in a row. Never. Or I get those wins where my team completely steamrolls the enemy and there is just no time to do something and therefor you end up in the middle/bottom of your team...but those, too, are not happening in streaks.

    Again...this games were steamrolls, not allways because particularly short, but decided within the first few minutes on the other side of the map, with no way to come back. I only controll one ship. I cant be everywhere on the map. And when it's allready 2:7 in kills, your base getting capped from the other flank and the only thing you can do to stay alive and hope for a miracle is to kite away and dodge, because you get targeted by 6 ships, you're not likely to get an exceptional game with twice the exp. than the second best player in your team. No matter if high tier or not.

    That is the "beating the dead horse" arguement. As you can clearly see, I didnt get frustrated. I see this as an experiment. If I would be frustrated and therefor play bad, I would make Big mistakes and for sure would not finish (almost allways) first in my team over and over again for 14 lost games in a row. That is exactly my point...I was the best player on my team, I was not the one responsable for the loss. In most of this games, the flank where I wasnt, collapsed within the first couple of minutes making this games not much more than a waste of time. This matches seem like they were never ment to be won for one team straight from the start. But now I start to get tired of this, this playing against the odds. So I will quit for today. But I get the impression this starts to feel more and more like the WoT matchmaker, which was the worst part of that game and made me quit forever.

    Next one. 14 in a row...still, of course, "bad luck"!? Just look at the clan-leagues distribution. My team never was meant to have a chance...and that is the pattern. I'm not saying this only happens to me or is stacked against me, but 14 games in a row, where everytime one team is handicapped straight from the start just by how players get distributed, is not "bad luck".

    It does. Within 13 games I should have won at least 1, even If I did nothing but press the reverse key at the start. Again...13 loses in a row, allways finishing within top 3 of your team is like winning the lottery, twice.

    To shorten gametime, to reduce overall exp. gain to lengthen the grind, so people are more likely to spend money. It's all about money.

    4 games today, 4 consecutive loses...just count clan-/rankedplayers. yes, that makes a difference, because one can assume they are better, more focused on winning. yesterday it was 5 loses in a row, same pattern with teams. teams are stacked. not intentionally against one player, but heavily in favour of 1 team, because all this games were lost within the first few minutes and not even close.

    Does the Smolensk need a nerf.

    it needs several nerfs... 1. hull/model needs to become longer and wider so it eats full penetrations and citdals broadside. (and yes, i fully believe "they" designed it the way it is on purpose, "they" are fully aware of their pen-machanics). basically minotaur size at least. 2. nerf acceleration and deceleration to worcester level - again, "they" are fully aware how crap the agility of the worcester is and what a big disadvantag that is - and still they gave smolensk almost mintotaur acceleration and still good deceleration to juke shots even outside of smoke. 3. remove hydro - it keeps HE over the british cruisers. 4. reduce range - because reason. 5. reduce firechance by 3-5%. 6. give her 1/8th HE-pen to reduce her effectiveness with ifhe, especially against heavy cruisers that should counter her. or 7. instead off all of this nerf reload to 20 sec. like the "oh so mighty with sap" italien cruisers. with all that nerfs it would be brought down to minotaur/worcester level or even still too powerfull because of smoke and HE-spam that would have made the british light cruiser op.
  14. ...there is no such thing as AA in this game since the rework...not even a fully AA specced worcester can stop a CV from dropping it, so it´s pointless to invest anything in AA.

    khorne berzerkers might use the horn of unicorns as toothpicks and their skulls as mugs, but never would they charge into battle riding one! every heresy has it's limits, that's where khorne "draws" his red line! ...but ask the slaneesh weaklings, I heard they have absolutely no concerns and like pink things.

    it doesn't matter to khorne if it's the blood of all the tiny, rainbowcoloured, like cotton-candy smelling unicorns in the universe, as long as it is blood! ...but of course he would prefer if it's weakling space marines that get "drained",or eldar, or tau...

    that's the reason why stealthfiring - for dd's - should not have been removed. it might have been/was frustrating at the recieving end...but that mostly applied to bb's. bb's that made a mistake by being alone and overextented and therefore deserved to get punished. torpedoes are so easy to dodge and just unreliable, low dps damage "thx" to all the nerfs, and since the last nerf nearly useless. fires are "ok" because you can stack them, but with the long reload on high tiers, stacking floods is pure luck. so, dd's now got no reliable and terrorfying source of damage, except against other dd's. so they got almost reduced to passive spotters, because of endless whining of incomptetant bb players. if a bb player got farmed by a stealthfiring dd, in most cases it was his own fault. either by overextending early on, or misspositioning, lack of mapawareness later in the game. but it was the only reliable threat to a bb. torpedoes get laughed at and their damage just shrugged off. dd's are the unloved stepchild...they are expected to risk their hp, get close and spot, but according to many bb players, that's all what they should be allowed to do, because...hey...they are sneaky. when played well, back in the days, they could touch their "bb's" in bad spots and actually be a threat to them. dd's arent a threat anymor except to themselves in knifefights for caps, and even there most often the dd that holds it's fire and just spots win's...that might net you a win, but as OP said, you dont get rewarded at all.

    if you do this for all 12 enemies...you will be late to the party, and it doesnt change the fact, that you are not supposed to have/use this info in the game. just because you can do something, doesnt mean it's right. and yes, there is no rule against it, but common sense dictates it. the people who use it, would'nt mind using it, if it wouldnt give them an advantage...simple as that. you would not care about knowing who is a good player up front, if you dont intend to use this information to your advantage. stop deniying this simple truth.

    because armormodels and ships are all in the game. you get the information and your supposed to use it, and this is knowledge that comes with experience. but you are not supposed to know, in the random envirement, before the game starts, who is a good player. it's different in the competetove scene, there players know and recognize each other and leran their strengths and weaknesses. but in random battles, it's a significant advantage to know whom to take care off, even before the match starts. you guys stated it yourself. you act differently based on the mmm information, giving you an advantage. say what you want. mmm/xvm gives significant information/advantage.

    say what you want, mmm using people, your main reason to use it is to know, which enemies are good/competant to focus them with your divisions. so... 1. you get an Information your not supposed to have through an external mod. 2. you use this Information that others dont have for your advantage... sounds like cheating to me. and thats the reason to hide your stats as a good/competant player. to negate this cheat. edit: it's a skill, a really important one, just as map awareness, to realize where/who is a thread and how big of it. whoever is better at it and acts accordingly, is the better player. so yes, it is a cheat to have such information before the game even starts.

    AND THAT IS INFORMATION YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE! and the only reason why people install it, to focus enemy's best players. for me, xvm/mmm is cheating. everything that gives you an advantage over others and is not part of the game = cheat.

    and there are you wrong...or should be wrong. cruisers are allready the scissors to paper dd, so we dont need additional ones. remove either cv's possibility to spot or damage dd's. one has to go. besides, carriers should be the paper to the rock bow in camping battleships, reality is, they are the nuke to every other class, and that is the big mistake.

    oh, dont get fooled. others do have the same problem/recognized the same pattern...they simply stopped playing and arent vocal about it in the forum. i too deinstalled the game for the same reason. I mostly played t8+...but that doesnt matter, because my wr "up there" top was 55% over the last couple of months...so, either I turned into acomplete potato over night, or something changed.

    been there. this might work for some time. but if you - continuesly - end up losing, despite being top 3 in your team in 75% of your loses, winning your flank but it doesnt matter anymore because it was allready 0:4 after the 4 minute mark...it get's frustrating. before the last patch my overall wr was steadily rising, rot to 54%. my wr over the last 3-6 months was around 55%. since the last patch i hit a wall - no meta change, no big adjustments - it's 30% or even below(!!!!!). for 1 day, it might be bad luck, even for 2 or 3, but if it affects my overall wr in such a short timeframe, something happened. so either I myself, suddelny overnight turned into an absolute potato with no clue how to play, or...the matchmaking algorythm got changed/tweaked (which doesnt show up in the patchnotes unless it's a funfamental change).
