Team Damage - Penalties enough/not enough

An Omaha on my team just droped his 5,5Km range torpedos into the water, aimed at a enemy BB at 15km distance. He was so close to me while doing it i could not avoid all of them and died from 100 to 0. Meant i had to wait 20Min for my friends to finish their battle doing something else, just because some 46% donkey is too dumb to aim / read his torpedo descriptions. But hey i got 12.000 credits compensation, that makes it okay, and this guy can do it again next battle! Well WoT took 4 Years to get a TK penalty system that actually punishes people for TKing, let's see how long warships takes.

do carriers need a rebalance or not?

While i will not deny that some players are absolute potatoes that do not dodge, this whole "People don't know how to play against it" is an easy excuse. If you played WoT you know that there it was/is used as the favorite excuse when something is broken. Old Kv-1s? People just don't know how to play against it Pre 8,6 games with 10+ arty per side? People just don't know how to play against it Waffenträger E-100 with 6 shots in the clip and laser accuracy on the move? People just don't know how to play against it And again i will not deny that Battleship/cruiser/destroyer captains still have a lot to learn, but the same can be said about Carriers, i see it on myself, when i started i was barely able to hit a BB, but now i can usually hit Cruisers, and even managed to sink a Gremyashchy that was actively dodging my planes and going Zig-Zag. When the carrier driver reaches a certain skill level, there is not much you can do in a lot of the not so fast ships. It becomes less of a "Am i better then him so i can defeat him" and more of a "Will he screw up so i might survive" which is totally stupid imho.

    CV Torpedobombers manuel drop range

I'm sorry for Torping your Gremyashchy from close range OP. And i understand your anger about the CV class, but calling me a [edited] for it was not nice.

    "Stop sailing in straight line."

So if the CV player is a Tomato then i have a chance to not get completely wrecked. It should be "The enemy needs to be good to kill you" and not "The enemy must be a scrub for you to have a chance of surviving"

Well considering i was too dumb to do manual drops when i first started playing CVs, and i'm still doing twice your damage in my Hosho, i would consider lack of skill a definite possibility. Not overall, just lack of experience, you have 42 games played in CV, it's pretty possible that you (just as I ) are still doing a lot of mistakes.

    "Stop sailing in straight line."

Difference is, you can shoot back at the BB at 10Km You can't shoot back at a CV player sitting at the edge of the map. So because some scumbag he needs to click my face i have to take damage without being able to do anything against it? Funny how you CV faboys went from "only noobs get hit" to "Yes you will get hit but you can tank a few shots and the CV deserves the damage!" after CVs learned how to manually drop. Wonder what the next stage of denial will be.

    Bloody Mods Spoil Another Game

Op is the typical WoT tomato.. 47% win overall 41% in T10s, meaning everone who kills him is a cheater/mod-user/gold-noob/hacker/whatever-else-excuse-he-needs-to-sleep-at-night. Hoped these kind of players would stay away from Warships... seems not.

    CVs are OP challenge!

Why does the OP have so many upvotes? I mean his idea is entirely stupid. He wants to objectively proof if one class is OP or not. And for that he wants to test 1 of the 14 ships that class currently has in the game, pitch it against 1 specific ship on one specific map, playing a 1v1 in a teamgame. So again, to prove that one ENTIRE CLASS is op he wants to 1v1 someone under very special conditions. Might as well let an AA specialized Cruiser 1v1 a Battleship with no planes in sight, and then try to see if that means AA cruisers need buffs or not. That's like trying to determine the entire skill of a professional football player by how good he does in a best of 3 Penalty kick versus one chosen Goalkeeper. Not taking either side here, just pointing out that OPs method of proofing his side is very flawed.
