    Hood - first impressions

HMS Hood is growing on me, I am just doing some PVE with her as on crappy wifi but she seems good enough to take a bit of punishment. Guns are good v cruisers, but that is where a BC dominates anyway, can be ok v BB's but you do get quite a few shatters. Ship moves well but as said, she is a big beast and needs to be kept angled, hates torpedoes but cant half shift both forwards and back.

    British Battleship line for 2017?

So does anyone know where the Revenge Class (HMS Royal Oak) will come in at? (T6 or premium??)

I need some tips on playing US DD's please.

Hi all, I seem to do ok with Cruisers and Battleships but US destroyers... I suck badly at It seems to me you can do 1 of 2 things with them, go forth and spot then run and hide behind the cruisers before going back on an attack run, or just hide and wait for them to come to you as your torpedo range is somewhat short. Hit and run seems to be the thing with the US DD by the looks but you have to get close in, I am trying to time my torpedo runs to hit enemy ships as they come towards me, not doing very well at that either (firing out of range and timing the torpedoes to hit head on) Any tips from you US DD masters out there? (I'm only on the Sampson and don't really want to go any further along the line until I improve). Thanks

Saddly WG doesn't take the PvE battles seriously...

Being a new player in WoWs I find the PVE mode very handy, yes it may not give me as many credits but I can learn tactics, figure out the gun handling of different types of ships (i really suck at US DD's at the moment and trying to get those torpedoes on target.... pve is great for me to get my practice in). At the moment I have not gone in for a PvP game, I want to go in prepared and have a good understanding of the tactics, ships, roles and controls, ok you will have 90+% who will just dive straight in to the pvp game and get their back sides handed to them, but that is their problem not mine, its there so im abusing it for now
