Even the Kaiser at tier IV gives me more entertaining battles (damage, credits + fun) than the Tirp. Why do you think I started to climb the German BB-line in the first place anyway? To get that Bismarck, fcause, that is the real ship to have, the Tirp is just some....?!?!?..well...anyway, thats my opinion based on in-game experience. I exchanged upgrades for millions of credits on the Tirp, tried eveything. but the Tirp simply does miss shots far too often. Even my non-premium FUSO (great ship!) makes nowadays far more credits than the Tirp. But, seems you like the Tirp, well, you play it, yr choice, I respect that. Succes! lol Well to be honest, your Kaiser with average damage of 22.5k is by far your best ship.....stick to it please.

My tips to you:- 1, Do a load of screen shots of the lovely boats, nice islands and wavy, deep blue sea, print them off, frame them up and put them around your room to stare at all day 2, avoid pressing the battle button

It's not something I usually do but had to as it always seems to be potatoes that complain about things that mash them

Your ping plotter shows the problem is at your first link in the chain and is nothing to do with WG. The big jump is between your pc and your local exchange.

Probably the best thing to do.

You can do the same with the WorldOfWarships.exe (create icon or just double click on it) It will also launch the game. Although not sure why you have no launcher and maybe won't work without launcher being present.....i will check. EDIT - checked, still works without launcher

I have an icon on my desktop to launch game.......In the game files folder there is one called 'WOWSlauncher.exe. Right click and press 'create shortcut' then move this shortcut to your desktop. EDIT - And probably best to try with your res_mods folder empty so delete everything in it first.

Delete the launcher on your desk top (if you have one) and make a new one from the launcher in the game files. Worth a try and has worked for me before now.

I had a battle yesterday in my Kamikaze with 3 other DD's in my team. One, an Isokaze, was pink in the battle line up but these days I only treat these with a slight bit of caution especially as I was pink this weekend for a few battles after a very low HP DD turned into me and died making me a team killer for a bit. Anyway, battle starts and as soon as the Isokaze was loaded he launched his torps at our Minikaze and missed then came straight at me and fired his next load at me. He missed again but then spent the next minute or so in very close proximity banging out more torps at me until I outran him. He then announced in chat to the team 'Hi' I am a team killer' or something and went after a BB before our Minikaze came back and ended up killing him and also got team killed. We actually won the battle despite this idiot causing havoc for the first couple of minutes or so. I checked this guys stats afterwards and it was clear he had been TK'ing for quite a few battles yesterday :- Played 18, win rate 22%, Average damage 1891, Average exp. 123, Average kills -0.5, WTR -47. He had two more battles after my battle and I presume got banned in the end but his general stats aren't too bad, just turned into a tool over the last few days by the looks. I was just wondering does anyone know the punishments for carrying on TK'ing after being pink? ps-I can bung up the replay when I get home from work if anyone is interested.

They are.....first intentional, from the start team killer I have seen for probably over a year. The last one was an irate frenchman who took a dislike to my tirpitz because I was a 'wallet warrior' and proceded to burn me for a few minutes with his cruiser.....In the end I just mashed him (this was before pink things )

I will study the replay later and see what happened between them. I was well away by that point with a speed boost to outrun the little git.

But he killed the Minikaze in a torp exchange.....

I couldn't let myself be torped mainly because I was on a torrid run of defeats all weekend and couldn't risk another one. 35 battles 7 wins or something including two loss runs of 11 in a row and 10 in a row.

To be honest, had he stayed in the battle it is debatable whether he would have made any difference. I have this guy on my blacklist in game after a battle where he was the enemy team's best player....a shame he was on my team.

The Admiral does himself down too much. I have played in teams with him and he is better than he thinks he is and always asking questions to others to improve. To be honest Admiral, if you played, say a tier 8/9 battle and look up the all players stats afterwards you will more than likely find you are easily in the top half stats wise and the best way to learn is to stick yourself in there and if/when you are killed, jump on the back of the players doing well and watch them. edit - bugger, just noticed that Burke and Hare had been active in the graveyard with this thread.
