I have around 30 ships (not counting the daft japanese coloured ships) and all are ships I like. I really can't do grinding with any conviction and generally play whatever I fancy at the time. Favourites at the moment, Hood, Scharnhorst, Kamy but next week could be something completely different from my stock.

This player is a good example at what you should have done OP. Have an honest look at your skill level and the time/battles it should have taken to complete the mission in the first place then set about it accordingly. It is what most people who completed it would have done. looking at the battles you played in the time period and the damage you were doing, I seriously doubt the lost 2 hours would have made any difference.

The chances of even coming up against a player you know and don't like is really remote as it is but even if this is the case, it's not like they have burnt their home down or attacked them with a weapon. In this game there is more chance of going out of your way to fire on an enemy's ship if you know him because he is a clan mate or friend.

Could be any number of reasons..... CV could be just trying to get in a last pile of damage before he dies at an easy target. He is stupid he is aware that player is really good/bad (xvm thingy) The target has ginger camo (joke) those stated above and so on The last thing to be called is bullying especially in a pixel ship

Ha...that one took me 13 battles, 7 of them with no DD's in the enemy team whatsoever!....couldn't believe it! I got one in the first couple then had a long wait to even shoot at one. I bought the captains edition by the way, a ship with gold for my usual months premium and a pile of flags.

I can do in one sentence what takes you half a page mate.

Battle yesterday....I played the Hood and was advancing nicely in half the fleet when noticed the other side of the map was wide open and 3 enemy ships were advancing towards our cap. I turned around with a friendly cruiser no one else bothered as usual) and we defended the cap killing two cruisers and a DD who almost completed the cap to win. Then a crying cruiser on our team, after dying near the enemy cap, probably looked at the mini map for the first time, saw my ship in our cap zone (just after I killed the DD) and subjected me to a few minutes of chat abuse, camping BB insults, wallet warrior, 'reported Hood for botting' etc etc. I took great pleasure in probably saving the game and being top XP earner. So Mr. forum user (you know who you are as you are on this thread pretty often and also moaning about BB campers in other threads)...learn to read the nice little map in the corner and look at it often before spouting your bile...oh, and UP YOURS.

If you are going to buy it anyway if you play with premium OP, why not get it this week? I waited and just bought the Captains edition as it's about 43ish quid. I play with premium mostly so the extra tenner or so this week for the added doubloons will pay for the next month of premium when this ones runs out. Plus I get to go for a load more flags for a week to give me some incentive to play the Bismark mission now I have got the camo. (I already had the Bismark previously).

Broken? not sure. I sometimes play IJN DD's up to T8 and don't see RL that often (maybe 1 battle in 10 at most). I don't use it myself and take the attitude that it is rare to see so 1 battle now and again isn't going to affect me too much. (on my other account my most played ship is a kamikazi at 300 battles or so with a 60+% wr) BUT, when I do come across it on an enemy DD it, nearly every time, is a good player who knows what he is doing and this makes me play completely differently to how I want to. Mostly I will try to confuse them by trying to keep the RL on me while I bugger about trying to lead them on a goose chase and hopefully keeping them busy enough to keep them from attacking other team members. Obviously this tends to mess my game up a bit as well but as it is more than likely a damn good player on the other team I am messing them up more. Only on one occasion (so far) during a kagero game, I got behind the enemy and was, I thought, in a position to decide the outcome of the battle when RL went off (the dd using it spawned on other side of the map so it was a long way into the battle before I realised it was in that game) and I was hunted to eventual death by a US DD and nothing I could do could get rid of him chasing me even though I wasn't spotted until just before I got wiped out by him and a few cruisers. So, very frustrating when it actually made the difference and game breaking in that battle. To recap, not seen it much but makes a difference when I do and possibly game breaking/ruining on the odd occasion.

In the same team as EsaTuunanen earlier....funny old game, He was Scharnhorst, I was Bayern in a T7. a relatively easy win but had to go and find something to fight as the enemy were very spread out and avoiding the caps.

No point....it's just a game and some of you waste too much energy whining about stuff that doesn't matter to most players. You don't like anyone to have a different opinion and no doubt I will be, as usual, be ganged up on by a load of anonymous, pretend geniuses in gaming company policy. Not that I give a crap.

Different markets require different strategies, even you can't be that thick to not realise it.

Oh god, here we go again ..... after the Foch stuff fizzled out not to their liking, Fingers and his little apprentice stirrer come up with some more trivial crap to manipulate their tiny little gang to pick up their pitchforks.

Did it earlier playing a Bayern thinking i had picked a Texas (both have the stripey camo on in port) ....2 CV's a side and i couldn't work out why the 'stupid' CV's kept coming for me and why the hell I was hardly shooting any planes down.
