In TS, the conversation started "wtf is a southern dragon?' then your name was mentioned When it turns bad it does get bloody frustrating.....In my case this week, you know it's turned on you when you can't even win in a 2 man division for 3 days.

I was in TS with someone who was. I told him 'you were pretty good so focus if you get the chance'. It's all swings and roundabouts Jethro, if your team is crap then sometimes you can do nothing about it. I had a particularly bad week or so with victories being thrown away by *edited* but it all comes good eventually....for a bit. Strangely, last February I had a 22/23 loss run, pretty good ever since then get to this Feb and the same thing happened again with about 3 wins in 20 this time.

Always? I think you maybe telling porkies because you weren't top scorer in your southern dragon losing battle, you were almost bottom scorer.

Mine does that now and again....I have it on full screen and sussed out it only minimized if I didn't minimize google and whatever website I had open underneath. Not done it since.

Had the pleasure of @ColonelPete joining our division for one battle earlier....he performed well in his Nelson for a good win.

I wasn't haven't a go at anybody, I am just amused at the amount of helpful players around all of a sudden (not a bad thing) even though, in this case, the helpful thing to advise would be to bugger off back to low tiers.

This is an amusing thread.....We have a truly, shall we say inexperienced, new player (we all were at the start OP so no offence) pushing up too far and too quickly and heading for the 'quit' door very soon probably. On one hand we have realists telling the OP to stop and go back a few tiers and learn the game and on the other we have experienced players who, a few weeks ago would be saying the same in no uncertain terms....now they are supplying 'helpful' answers to encourage the OP into certain doom in the hope of earning a new ship or something in a 'who's the top nice bloke' competition. funny.

Prepare for a torrid time if that isn't happening already......ltp before you go any higher.

True....been having a good run lately but it all went pear shaped last night with some atrocious teams....actually, some atrocious top tier in the battle ships....our only 2 T8s, Bismarks, in one battle chasing down a CV at the top of the map (and failing) while the rest of us were getting murdered in the middle. And a special mention to 2 pink Tirpitzs in another battle who found it fun to sit behind a rock miles out and snipe from extreme distance again while they were the only T8s (top tier). In both cases these special players finished bottom 2 in the battle results. All swings and roundabouts though.

Having a Razer Naga (12 button mouse) I am getting pretty annoyed as my 3 button is 'speak' in TS....I just fill the chat section of the division box with a million 3's every time I talk in port Change it back please. EDIT - Although, if the ingame control setting changes currently on the test server go live, this part of the forum will be filled with far more than a complaint about a little box. Especially for us lefties.

For me ranked is what you make it....I have only really bothered for the last 3 seasons. In each of those I have targeted level 11/12 and made it easily and enjoyably each time in not too many battles...This season I again targeted 12 and also got there in about 20 battles or so. The difference this season is that I have 3 x19 point captains so since reaching Level 12 I have played with the sole view of banging a load of free xp, and captain xp flags plus a high earning freexp and capt xp camo on 3 or 4 ships and playing them. I found this pretty enjoyable in most cases and managed to get to level 5 (incl a 14 game winning run from R8 to R5). I had a week off at this point which was an error as by the time i started playing again, the hordes of grinding bad players caught me up and the difference in game play/team play drastically got worse. The amount of battles in the last week which has had defeat star earners in is very noticeable. It think I have now reversed back to level 7 which is OK as I am still earning XP etc which is my non stress aim. I think, in the case of Az is the main reason for his thread and the fact he got to level 2 and now is in reverse....they caught him too. On the whole, with the approach i have to ranked I have found it quite enjoyable with not much in the way of frustration save for a few tirps hiding at the back trying to hit ships at their range limit. Setting a rank 1 as your target is always going to end in frustration if you almost get there but it gets fouled up in the end mate. @Azrael_Ashemdion

This thread is hilarious. OP, you had a go at an online game, you were rubbish at it, you deleted it from your PC (like many other people with many other games). Now you are making a complete fool of yourself over a game ffs. Go try another one. When you have Macfergus acting as your pitbull (or poodle) you should know you are wasting your time. You aren't the first person who was crap at a game but acting like a petulant child just makes you look stupid.

No you don't, with the anti det flag mounted you can't detonate. I use it in every battle and have not detonated since Jan 2016 in the days of having no flags.

as above...key bindings are not working. Being left handed I change quite a few key binds and even after changing them I go into battle and the bindings I set go missing leaving repair, smoke etc with no key binding...impossible to play for me. If this gets into the game like this I am off....useless. Why do you have to mess with stuff that works perfectly?????
