1. No. 2. No. 3. Guess.... No. BB's don't need ANY buffs, they are statistically doing fine ( from tier 5/6 upwards, which is by design just as those 3 points you want changed ). 1. Fire is balancing mechanic for CA/DD to be able to do consistent damage to BB. If you lower damage output from HE/Fire chance, you need to buff AP to compensate. You ready to get Citadelled by cruisers in your Yamato from 15km angled? No? Neither am I, but it would be needed to keep (groups of) CA semi competitive against BB. 2. Secondaries were stronger in earlier builds, it was IMBALANCED because for example USN DD's couldn't even get into torpedo launch distance before being ripped a new one. Balanced? Maybe if you play BB's only, otherwise; hell no. Secondaries. in general, are fine. Individual ship statistics might not be, but that's not what we're talking about here. 3. Can't make more of it then NO. Why does it NEED to be lowered? BB's are performing as they should, second highest damage after carriers, much higher then CA and DD. The numbers don't lie, and the numbers are agnostic towards people's wishes and preferences.

I had none of those issues

Saddly WG doesn't take the PvE battles seriously...
mtm78 replied to tacomaco's topic in General Discussion
Get rid of it, ofc not, why would they do that? Increase rewards for it, hell no. If you want to relax against the terrible AI, surely go ahead, just don't expect near the same rewards as those playing PVE and all will be good o7 -
Uhm who is attacking OP? Ow and btw those are forum rules, I for a moment thought you were talking about the in game rules ( which includes, not being free to shoot at pink players in your own team ). Btw you have six battles, I am sorry you met some potato's but that's how it works sadly. Since it's still rare to meet such potato's, you should be having idiot-free games for the next couple of matches

Even my AB oneshoted an Omaha with 3 citadel's and 2 regular hits once, should I now make a topic about how OP AB is and how it should be nerved? BB have second highest damage after CV, much higher then the other two classes, it doesn't need a buff.

What is ahead of us - RU streams with devs and Q&A

They could do that to off course, costs less money to so sounds like a plan -

It's not the first time an asset has been released on one server but was deemed 'not viable' for another. I do think that if she is really performing that bad, people should be offered the choice for a refund? -
Actually that is just the 'new proven' one, the other one is advertised as being a modified executable ;) And as I said IANAL, but I wouldn't be that sure if I were you. edit: Btw are you familiar with WG's 3rd party developers EULA, which permits people to make modifications for their games? It also has an EULA which forbids making certain modifications. If a developer makes modifications for the game which break those rules, it doesn't matter it's not the players EULA which is broken.
-
Technically every mod is in breach of EULA as you're modifying the client which you agreed not to do, this could always be used legally in cases of commercial enterprises making money selling cheat mods ( problem is finding out who is behind them and where they are located, as prosecution depends on local law ) afaik. There are many many games which do a file integrity check before launching, this isn't illegal in any way. WG could prevent it, if BigWorld had a modular mod system which allowed signing and importing certified modifications. Sadly you're right, BigWorld is a cheap cost efficient engine for Wargaming but it is not ideal for us as players ( not even close ). That is not saying the WoWs team hasn't done wonders with the engine to make it look as it does already, but in it's core it's still an aging engine which ( by design.. ) runs on DirectX9 in 2015 and which offers no multicore support. IANAL btw

Premium shop ships - no benefit (same error like in WoWP)
mtm78 replied to ulthien's topic in General Discussion
In WoT I run even or profit in some tier IX and lose in tier X, I'm not good enough my performance peaks around tier VIII. That out of the way, I agree with your assessment about pivot point being harder to avoid in WoWs then WoT and I would say that's by design. Tier progression is also slower, they want us to grind for top tier content more. I kind of agree, it will make sure even the best/better players are playing mid tier games longer, thus keeping it populated enough to attract new people. On the point of it being excessive, no I don't think it is. I made 1.9m with Mogami in ~12 games I think today earlier, with premium account but no credit boosters. Sure, it's not that much considering the prices for high tier ships and equipment ( 2m for detectability mod lol ) but as I said it's quite clearly by design. We also have ranked battles at mid tiers, and I don't think it will be a single event only because 'not enough people have top tier equipment'. And that is a good thing, you don't need end tier content to be eligible for competitive play. In the end I suppose we will get modes where end tier content is a must ( clan wars? ) but that still doesn't mean they want people to focus on top tier only. Reading this back it sounds a bit cheesy, saying 'mid tiers have to be boosted artificially and that is a good thing' but frankly that's what it is. edit: according to my stats I played 9 games up till now today, not 12. -
Premium shop ships - no benefit (same error like in WoWP)
mtm78 replied to ulthien's topic in General Discussion
Mrconway with his 1m game wasn't complaining, I know, one in a million (excuse the pun) game but look at it this way: I have premium account and premium ships, and up till now I don't have a lack of credits even while using prem consumables. That will change when I need to buy my first tier IX, but that is the intended pivot point if not to many players would only play tier IX and X and mid tiers would be barren. Which is also why the highest tier premium you will see is tier VIII ( reward tanks in WoT which includes some tier X's don't have premium multipliers they only allow using tank crew without penalty like premium vehicles ). -

mtm78 replied to ulthien's topic in General Discussion
The multiplier is applied to basic income, if you can't make a decent basic income, the multiplier won't do much. In exchange, the better you play, the higher the bonus will be from having a multiplier. Good system if you ask me. -
Is commercially breaking WG EULA legal? Really? Wow, didn't know that.

So, can you provide proof of this or not? If not, I am a sad puppy

I think the card is faulty, I will pm you my postal addy and offer testing the card myself. Expect a 2 month round trip, testing got to be thorough off course! ps, you should send your old hd series as well, I can test that to -
Stop spreading lies, you can NOT shoot pink players you will turn pink yourself. Team damage is not allowed, not against pink players and not to defend yourself. Take it like a man, screenshot/send replay to support and ask for a ban ( MrConwway posted blatant team killers will get banned by support if you open a ticket.. ). In any case, do not shoot allies, not even if they are pink. Maybe someday the mechanic will change so it's like in WoT where you can safely kill team killers without penalty, but currently this is how it works.

The other links which have been popular under doomsayers were scams, but if you feel bold enough you can buy their 'trainer' and report back to us how things went

Well that mod actually shows real speed in numbers at each target which is a whole lot easier then judging speed by the smoke coming out of a chimney ;)

"Cruiser's are meant for sniping" meme incoming

avg was about 47-48 wr, rest is dependant on which ships you're talking about ( there are multiple threads about server average performance ).
-
I agree on all, though tricky is not the same as 'not of influence' I think top wr with Murmansk is about 70% but I will bet you most if not all of those games have been in divisions No he was saying that you can't make generalizations based on one person's perception.
-
You said most were uber baddies compared to you but you're just above average? What's poor logic in that
-
How about you would have to earn 'plays well' compliments before being allowed to give 'plays poorly' reports
-
No, don't look into this, I like the current wording. People who think they might accumulate to many reports for being poor players are scared and might play better or quit. Nothing is lost, all is good.
