Lol so you set a task which you know can't be done, as replays don't proof anything, and you will use a failure to proof it as proof that the whole claim is false? Ofc you can turn more often ( but it lowers your own damage output ), and ofc you can always be hit anyway regardless of an aim bot. But now even nubs will hit on first salvo, which they did not at first. And no, I can not proof that, WG probably can but it would be strange if they did as admitting how much impact a cheat has on the game can be bad for business ( as long as you don't wait until you have a permanent fix for it ).

Nope, not that we're aware of anyway. Module dmg on DD's has always been high, couple of patches ago they got even more fragile ( same can be noticed on CL/CA ), there is no hack for that needed. ps, I always try to shoot the back ( and if not trying, dd's go so fast it's likely your lead is sooner to short ( hitting closer to back ) then to long ( hitting him in the front ). The reason good players aim for the back is because a DD which has engine/rudder knocked out is a much easier kill. Don't confuse skill with cheats, not to mention you seem to accuse people of using 'cloaking' hacks but it seems to me you just don't understand the spotting mechanics.

What is ahead of us - RU streams with devs and Q&A
mtm78 replied to Sharana's topic in General Discussion
Uhm you need proof of there being a difference between the clusters/regions? Why not go to each region's store and check them yourself, or read the actual portal announcements for yourself? -
"For nothing" is a big statement, I wouldn't say that in that manner but I agree it's not representative of how they should perform on the live server as no one at those tiers has so few points. I have to add I feel more competent with the tier IV and V since those tiers captain skill aren't that important. Gnevny has nothing over Greg though, but the tier IV is mighty fun if you ask me with those pewpew guns.

I got the module, but captain skill above it still is a large difference. And basically I only got the two gunnery skills ( didn't need tier II one for traverse, should maybe take situational awareness and the 1 point survival skill ). Problem is, we don't earn credits/xp on those accounts so you can't level the captain up not even slightly.
-
Have some more trust in ST, off course we brought it up but that doesn't mean we're always being listened to. I would like to do proper testing with my own RU captain or a decently skilled captain on the test account, but it is not our call. You really should try to accept we're only able to test with what has been provided to us. If you, like us, don't think it's proper, don't blame it on ST please especially when you notice some of us already said to not liking it but having our hands tied.
-
If I had my Greg/Murmansk captain for RU on the test account, I would have enough skills for proper high tier testing but we have special test accounts for live server atm so I can't use that captain
-
It's not in our hands what we can test and what not, you'll have to address that concern with WG not us edit: Actually this could be it, Greg has much higher arc, and I'm probably actually hitting wrong spots due to the much flatter trajectory.
-
That would be ok at mid tiers, top tier captains however it is not representing. My Mogami at tier 8 has 18 points..
-
Max HE should be 1800 iirc, but I mainly see 2xx rolls up to 5xx rolls, and I am hitting superstructure which should give the high damage rolls. Guess I'm hitting the wrong spots though. edit: Which btw is weird because those gun's on Greg seem to give me higher damage
-
Yeah 20% more range would be good for stealth HE spam

DD is least affected class, no sane DD captain will sail straight lines even without the aim mod being there.
-
Am I a bad player? I haven't played many games with her yet but so far it been not so good. I admit having only 3 points on the captain sucks, but considering it's a gun boat I should be able to perform reasonable even then.
-
It is, and it is not coming back.

Open software development is just one of the things I support, and if given the choice I would run Linux over Windows if it would run all my software but again that is just personal and we can agree to disagree all we want o7 ps I already said price/performance and performance/consumption has not looked that good, but DirectX12 is already showing AMD competing with Nvidia with current hardware.
-
I think DD's are the least affected class really. Though I admit I see way to many DD's sailing in a straight line, considering the rudder shift time and turn radius a DD is just not that affected if you don't just go straight. BB's are the slowest to turn but considering how easy they always been to hit the are also not that much affected. CV's don't notice it much as direct gun fire is already likely to kill them, they rely mainly on being hidden. CA's are the worst off, bb's with the mod will land better at longer distances, directly affecting how cruisers should be played.
-
My comment was aimed for a single phrase in your post -> This is not true, the cv's do not attack each other in 90% of the cases ( disclaimed below ) so air cover now is just as important as before. Now you mention that it was even more important when you face a team with an enemy carrier without having one yourself, yes this was true because enemy CV removes HP from your team if you don't just like now, but now you also have a friendly CV doing the same with enemy team. All of that doesn't change the fact that providing air cover in your cruisers is still a primary directive. I can even provide effective air cover in an IJN CA if that maybe indicates my point, and I'm sure enemy CV will not like me doing so edit: the disclaimer as promised: I have played maybe 20 carrier games during PT4 and 5 or so in CBT, I do not like playing them. But I am quite sure if I would ask Sharana what he would think about the phrase that 'air cover is less needed now that CV have mirror matchmaking', it would suck hard.

What is ahead of us - RU streams with devs and Q&A
mtm78 replied to Sharana's topic in General Discussion
I agree partially as I already said but I highlighted two very important parts. The key in playing any CA is distance and angles. Any BB shell which hits you in the right place is bad, you don't 'slug it out' with a BB, you 'tickle' it. I want enemy BB's to engage me from MY maximum engagement range. There I have the highest chance to dodge their return fire. I don't have to kill them usually, I just annoy them enough so they shoot at me and not the allied BB I'm with. If they are completely focused on the BB, I will try and get a higher effective dpm by closing the distance, all the while using the minimap to keep situational awareness and prevent situations which are not beneficial for my survival/effective dpm ratio. This also applies to lower tier, distance is key. With my kitted/specced Murmansk I can tickle a Warspite to death before it can hit me, but if I find myself in a situation to close to him he can oneshot me ( and this has happened recently, both scenario's: a warspite which I outranged and which tried to close the distance but sank before he could land a single shell, and me going around an island with there being a Warspite which I didn't notice at 10km -> full hp Murmansk gone ). Range is key, you can't say BB's are stronger without taking into account at which ranges you're talking about. When you understand that range is key, you also understand why a BB can compete for position control, but where a CA can control the flow of a battle. -
new players are just gonna quit the game if you still continue with draws

Sample size is small I admit, but I know a lot of people who are good with her and have likewise or better numbers on her then I do. And you said it yourself, I even put it in my signature, it's just my opinion. Where I base it on and if it's valid is something perhaps up for debate. I've also played more games than are shown in the screenshot. I played Kuma as either BB herasher if they don't pay attention to me, or as a DD leader. Most of the damage was indeed with torpedo's, Kuma has pretty good arcs and when used 'right' is a viable destroyer leader around tier 4 ( a bit like Yubari if you leave out the AAA when there are no carriers in the game ). At least, that is just my opinion edit: the 'bad' thing about how I played Kuma is also evident from my screenshot, after unloading torps I usually die because I don't have the cammo nor smoke a real DD has. So it's use guns at range and try and ambush something fat and juicy on a corner of an island. Seems to work out pretty well, both for my own and for my teams. -
hear hear, I bet Mister_Greek would like to toast with you

I buy AMD because I like supporting good engineering over good marketing. The only plus for Nvidia is in the amount of resources they've piled on software/drivers. This might sound good, but Nvidia is a real opponent of open source software and standards, and have been caught more than once with 'foul play' when considering their position on the market. If you only care for price/performance, I would probably now buy Nvidia because of the running costs ( nvidia has done really good with power consumption ). But if you care about anything like supporting open software development and 'fair play', you should stay clear of anything Nvidia if possible. Ofc, just my and I can fully understand people who choose with their wallet only.

CV balance has NOTHING to do with how CA's should play, since CV's rarely counter each other but instead damage the ships you in your CA are supposed to defend.
-
aww wavecave you removed my +1 how sad you make me feel
-
Aoba is the counter, not Furutaka, sorry. And Cleve eventually will get moved, and as it is now it's actually not that OP anyway. Cleveland only looks good on paper, when you play it and notice the shell flight time you'll see it's not that overpowering at all.
