Don't think you'll get one, I'm not aware of such a thing at least. I do think that per turret volley at times gives better result due to difference in trajectories between forward and aft turrets when shooting a close enough target, usually a destroyer. That way you can adjust fire slightly between shots from the front turrets and rear turret(s). But that's the only situation that I'm aware off where firing a turret at a time would be more accurate. Btw guys, can you please stop fighting over who might or might not be using it, it's not something you can proof from a single game or even a replay, it's always open for debate right up to the point where you have access to historical and current performance figures of the person under scrutiny. I think everyone is in agreement that there is a lead indicator mod out there, that it's functional, and that 'people' are using it. This arguing about details/percentages/specific players, is starting to drown the actual issue: WG's intended fix for the problem at hand. Can we agree to drop the personal accusations ( yes, that includes me ), and don't give WG a reason to lock the thread because of the non constructive back and forth arguments ( which are at times close to ad hominem, as close as one can get )? Let's try to self moderate, instead of waiting for a real mod to jump in, since if that happens we got no control over what action will be taken and I'd like the thread to stay open/alive at least until a fix is in place

Well... That's what most IJN (And high Tiers US) DDs do all the time... If you consider Torps "shooting", ofc. People are somewhat used to 'invisible dd's' launching +-60kts torpedo's at them every ~1:30 minutes or so. That is not the same as HE rain from invisible DD every couple of seconds ;)

Lol DD's need a buff not a nerf ( past tier V off course, below and at tier 5 they are either balanced or stronk ). Also the only one's who disappear < 6km are low tier DD's and/or DD's with 5 point cammo captain skill and cammo equipment. Nothing to be fixed there, all working as intended. -
Which dmg counter/minimap you're using, as that was the issue the last time with being stuck at the battle loading screen? Better yet, I think the installer makes a log file which should include all mods you selected?

What, because it's your most played class ( mine as well btw ) it can't be the most noob friendly? Sorry but cruisers are the best class to learn the game. You don't learn much from 'not moving much in a battleship' infact you will have to unlearn not moving a lot when you play any other class ( excluding carriers, those are a 'special' class for special people ). Btw, it's not just 'people' saying that, it's developers and good experienced players. Big difference between the two ;) Battleships are easy to noob around in yes, as it takes time to kill you. But being effective in a BB takes a lot of skill. Most people can go into battle with a CA/CL and get a 'decent' result in their first battle, most people who fight their first BB battle are utterly useless to their team.

Uhm you're not ST right ( one of the new one's which they maybe haven't changed the forum title off? ). If I start ST client and then live server again, minimap is gone need to reinstall mod to get it back working again ( so ST client is altering a file from my live server client, even when they are on seperate hdd's ).

Omg saved, +1000 for the pic

If you state your opinion can't be changed, so be it. But please find a better translator, the one you're using makes me laugh too much "The before singing hen has laid an egg" is probably a beautiful proverb but not in the way it is translated

Actually you didn't word that really clearly you can read it both ways, about using against or with.

Consumables are paid when you select them, ammo is charged separately as well. The costs he sees are the flat 'service' costs you will get with that ship in every battle ( and any damages will be added to that number ).

yes there are, I even said so in the same post. But from the same factory also come your Apple components ( or Samsung / Sony / Philips / Microsoft ( yes I got a Lumia... ) ). The components just have different levels of quality control, but are made by the same companies in the same factories sometimes on the same assembly line. -
For some reason when I play Umikaze I always think off this cartoon my kids watch regularly: Umi Zoomie! So for me Umikaze is Umizoomi

Ibuki with captain cammo skill and cammo equipment can stealth torp iirc.. or pretty close anyway ( or was it Myoko/Mogami... definitively not Zao with 8km torps ). I agree they shouldn't focus on torpedo damage though, way to unreliable unless at point blank range.

I kind of have to agree there, the days of cheap Chinese knockoffs are long gone, most quality stuff has components which are from China or which have been assembled there. Just because some western company put's it's name on it, doesn't make it any different. What still is an issue is the difference in quality control, and I know this for certain as the same factory can make components for apple as well as some no one, and the only difference will be that the no name brand get's almost no qc checks while Apple's components are scrutinized. Off course, that also explains why those components have a different price tag. Basically, from what I know, you can get anything in China at the same quality as anywhere else, but you can also get the same components a whole lot cheaper and then it's a question of which quality level you'll receive. -
Sharana's translations of Q&A with developers. Anything else is....

I agree and did already say that hitting stuff isn't the most important skill but it's the first one you need to learn before you can move on the 'advanced' one's based around situational awareness. And you can do that last part better if you either already learned to aim ( which is the proper way! ) or when you cheat and use the mod, since you will have more time to spend looking at the minimap, other ships ( you even have time to zoom in and check their turret orientation ) and think about game objectives in relation to those findings. If you want, drop by the Forumites channel ingame ( chat channel ), the password is play4fun ( it's a secret, don't tell anyone ). Ask people to division with you ( I have to say it's less populated lately then before, if no one is there well just stay in the channel someone might drop bye later and a full room always start with a single person ), if I'm there I will play some Murmansk games with you and try and see if I can help you a bit.

Easiest class to noob around in, yes BB's very true. Easiest class to be semi capable in, cruisers. BB's are easy to play but very very hard to play optimally. This is all btw not just my opinion, but the intended design of the game as envisioned by the developers.

Not to mention the rage we will see on the forum about invisible submarines just sending wave after wave of torpedo's at an enemy BB which isn't able to close the distance enough to proxy spot the submarine. edit: if you tally up the number of mentions of 'invisible' or 'dissapearing' or 'hacking/cheating' destroyers in the threads which are currently on page one, and multiply that with 10, you're about close to the number of rage threads we will see then. Most people can learn spotting mechanics and will accept that destroyers have a cammo system, but submarines ( especially if they can stay submerged for too long ) are always hidden unless something with active sonar would be close enough. -
Thx for the update.

Most people care less about historical accuracy or lack there off, they just care about gameplay. I'm not one of them, I like some realism even if it's limited to WG's idea of realism ( I don't want subs doing 30kts submerged and turn like a DD ). -

LOL that make me fall outof my chair almost -
Ye I might have been to strong towards him but everyone who isn't already an above average to good player who comes in this thread claiming the mod does nothing and it's not a big deal are clear suspects and will have to explain themselves ( just as everyone who does claim there is an issue is doing btw, I'm not putting mixed standards into this discussion ). He performs well enough with Murmansk to indicate he can improve his other ships as well, definitively not a lost cause so to say
-
I think the English language is playing you part here, sailing at an angle is still sailing in a straight line. I didn't play Alpha, I did play CBT. And yes, Mogami and Cleveland are pulling my hit ratio down a little. But, even in those ships I am performing better than you probably be when you'll reach them. Why I say that, well because we both have a Murmansk, where I do 24k more damage on average, what was your point again? even Murmansk is pulling me down since I got the 20% range skill on my captain there, but again what is your point?
-
Aim mod doesn't allow sailing at an angle as the lead will always be correct, to throw the mod off you need to make turns and change speed often. Which will lower the amount of time you will have your own guns on target especially if you got slow turret traverse. edit: sorry Midnightsun1912, that was a bad post of mine, it was a baseless accusation, founded on nothing more than a hunch. I feel bad for making the original post and I hope we'll be able to division up some time and go from there
