Exactly because it is in the game through a consumable. Your spotter plane is not active the whole match, the mod is. The other side is that the spotter plane extends the range which a mod can't do. Btw, as per sig, this is not an official stance afaik, but just my opinion

Umi is fun, but only because people at that tier haven't learned to not keep sailing in straight lines. Wakatake was fun, but not a real keeper. Isokaze is great, one of the best, but I sold it because I felt dirty ( yes I did keep Umi, but that's not because I want to seal club but because I want to educate the new players about sailing in straight lines and having an apetite for fresh fish ). Minekaze will never leave my port. Uhm.. what was the name again.. that tier VI DD... I played a few games with it but the increase in detection range kills any fun you can have unless you get a lot of torps ( like 3x4 or 5 ) and not 2x4 or something every 1:30m. But maybe the new RUDD's will be more fun even at higher tiers

You should ( if you got the time and are up for it ) add a youtube channel for your highlights, I find it attracts more views then the twitch replays

I can get higher xp/credits if I play more 'fire support' and less 'offensive' since I will likely draw less fire to myself and thus will be able to do more damage ( I think.. not 100% sure ). But I would win less ( again, I think ), since I would be doing the damage where it matters the least.

He's even a bit of a scrub in those BB's, but at least he carryable when he get's to lumber around in his big boats ( I think he's compensating for something, wouldn't you all agree? ).

You again go around claiming warshipstats shows which class people learned the game in it doesn't do that. It just shows class averages, none of which can be used to support your claims :S Maybe you just suck at playing cruisers, I know a ST who suck in anything but battleships but that doesn't change the rule. Exceptions are always possible, but for the majority of players CL's is the best way to learn the game ( and not only for them personally, but also for their teams ). Remember we're talking from tier I to tier V or maybe VI, any higher and you'll see BB's becoming more dominant.

CBT + ST? I had Yamato, didn't suck that bad in it either watshipstats doesn't indicate who plays what, just averages. I will probably get higher damage in BB's, probably lower WR, higher K/D ( depending on if I go for dmg or kills ) and higher survival rates. Doesn't mean it shows CA/CL or BB is stronger or weaker, as it wouldn't show which class I 'learned' the game with.

Nah I think you started listening to Figment and others who gave you advice, and then turned on that big cheat of yours called brain v1.0, which together with Mark 1 Eyeball turns average players into good one's

This game is about more then having guns and shooting them. In CA's you learn to play for game objectives and it prevents having to many idiots in bb's which stay at max range, thinking 'feck my team let them die while I snipe and ignore all game objectives, I can do damage from here so I must be doing it right'. So yes, BB's are not the easiest to learn class, BB's are freaking hard which is why we still got many idiots/noobs in BB's which do exactly as I describe above. Cruisers allow you to much quicker learn the important game mechanics and meta, so you won't be one of those morons in a battleship which ruin the game for the rest of their teams. New players, stay the hell out off battleships, please, your team depends on BB captains which know what they are doing. Go play a cruiser, you can be very useful in one but you won't burden your team as much if you noob out. I am using that without the direction lines and I can enter a battle normally, the issue is not in a single mod but perhaps a combination ( which is why either a screenshot of your selected mods and/or a logfile which says which mods you're using could be useful ). Disclaimer, I still didn't even check if the installer makes a log file, I'm just assuming it does

So, I stat pad my wr? How exactly do I do that, while playing the same ships as everyone else has access to? Anyone dismissing any stat and claiming it's only relevant to padder imo is just saying: Well those people have better XYZ stats but that is only because I do not do ZYX to pad it like they do!
